Name: Keid Peythell

Faction: Independent

Rank: Smuggler

Species: Half Hapan

Age: 22

Gender: Male

Height: 5’11

Weight: 185 lbs

Eyes: Bluish Green

Hair: Brown with scattered green strands

Skin: Light Tan

Credits: 1000

DISTINGUISHING MARKS: An old faded scar that is hidden with an intricate rose pattern on his right shoulder.

FORCE SENSITIVE: Yes

STRENGTH: Keid tends to be average in his strength, able to press 250, and left close to 100 lbs at max. 5/10
DEXTERITY: He is certainly agile, something he thought he was gifted with. He was almost always one to dodge blaster and sword strikes, though secretly it didn't always work. 8/10
CONSTITUTION: He used to eat decent enough that he was always fit and in health, though he does drink more than he really should. 6/10
INTELLIGENCE: An incredibly bright character, he is known for thinking out of the box when it comes to solutions to problems, and he is quick to adapt. 7/10
WISDOM: On the other side, he does demonstrate a lack of wisdom in common sense and has a stubborn side that comes from rugged living. 3/10
CHARISMA: He holds himself as a charmer and romantic, a complete ladies’ man. His appearance is definitely above average, and he's been known to charm his way into deals and gifts. 6/10

FORCE POWERS:
None at this time.

SKILLS:
Keid is a rather avid shot with his blaster, and shows a decent degree of construction and upgrading his equipment. He is also a pretty good pilot and holds a keen sense of awareness on the battlefield. Lastly, he is a charmer and can manipulate women into helping him. Usually.

LIGHTSABER/SWORD FORMS:
None currently.

STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:
If there is one label that can be attributed to Keid as a person, it would be scoundrel. In a good way, not the kind that you want pulled from the galaxy. He is quick witted and clever, with a streak of luck to get him what he needs to do what he wants to. However, he also has an issues with inflating his ego and a stubbornness about him that makes him think he can take on almost any group in the galaxy. He is a genuinely good person, though, refusing to do too many questionable things that would led to needless strife. That code of honor, despite his evasion of the general laws of the galaxy, has led him to make friends, though not always business. The one thing he will never refuse is a ride, if you have the credits, he wouldn't care the reason. Mostly the smuggler goes for life saving missions, bringing food and medicine to blockaded or otherwise restricted worlds, and bringing them out. All in all, a good heart and a good spirit, with a good brain, and just a healthy supply of needless faith in himself.

GEAR:
His weapons will of course be based around what will be acceptable for the time period. I won’t make any assumptions now, except that he would hold two blasters, but predominantly use one.

SHIP:
The Erad Kestrel is the name of the vessel he owns, passed onto him by his mentor, it will be a light freighter that resembles early Corellian YT models. I know its clichéd, but the circular ships are more versatile and just fit better.

DROIDS:
N/A

PETS:
N/A

PERSONALITY:
As stated earlier, Keid is a lovable rogue and scoundrel, charming the ladies and rescuing the helpless. Despite independence at a young age, the young man has matured rapidly, looking for the good in others and himself. While he is not afraid to bend or break the rules to get what he wants and needs, Keid lives on a somewhat strict code of honor to stay true to himself and his heart, meaning that he is selective in his work and won't kill unless necessary for the benefit of himself or others. He loves to flirt, joke, and laugh, and holds a kind heart that has become less common in those of his profession.

However, when it comes to the Sith and their allies, Keid can get ruthless. He holds a dark mark on his heart from the loss of his family and everyone else he knew in a Sith attack, and has made it his mission to "keep the galaxy free" from their tyranny, even if it means having to defeat each and every one of them. While he will give their allies a chance at life, those who are devoted to the Sith code and lifestyle are a danger to everyone in his book, and he plans on slaying each one until they are nothing but a dark mark on the galaxy. They say every person has two completely different sides to them, a dominant and a hidden side. This is his darkest and most hidden.

BIOGRAPHY:
Keid's life was pretty normal for a young boy living on Stenos. He enjoyed typical boyhood experiences on the relatively temperate planet. His parents were pretty normal, except for the Hapan father with a mostly human mother, having gotten a strain of zelosian DNA in her family. However, they were relatively accepted as normal people on the pretty independent planet. They never cared much for Galactic politics, and raised their children to do the same. Keid had two siblings, an older brother named Caloso, and a younger sister named Sirinna. The three got along very well, even with the standard fights that siblings were meant to have on each other. For Keid, Calo was more of his guide, and the one he got into trouble with, but Siri was his anchor, having a better heart than he did. She kept him from doing something cruel and mean-spirited and taught him the value of life.

Unfortunately, even the small world of Stenos would not find itself unchanged by the shifts in power, and before anyone knew it, the Sith order arrived in the system to take out what they deemed a threat and opportunity. His parents, already shaKeid up by the assaults on nearby worlds, reluctantly took up arms, along with him and his brother, against the Sith threat fighting back, staying on the front lines even as city after city fell to ransacking. His sister, uncomfortable with fighting, opted to work behind the front as a medic, doing what she could to save those wounded. When the main fight was defeated, his family joined those in hiding as a resistance cell, fighting against the Sith.

That would come to an end near the fall of Stenos, when the Sith had conquered the entire planet and were in the process of wiping out the last of the large resistance cells. It was at this time that Keid was given to a smuggler named Jenesco Nova, noted for his fast ship and quick thinking. He was to aid Nova with shipping options between the cells and the other conquered planets, helping to relay messages, plans, and supplies. It was during a return to his family that Nova's luck ran out, and his ship carried a tracking device that the Imperials followed right to his door. As valiant as they were, Keid watched as the Sith burned his sister alive in their makeshift medical facility, and as his family fought the invading forces, they pushed Nova to get Keid off planet. Nova helped Keid get past the Sith as they made their way back to the freighter, but after a firefight, Nova was mortally wounded barely making it into the ship and in the pilot's seat. Unable to stabilize himself, he gave controls of the Erad Kestrel to Keid, and the young man just barely made it past the Sith before jumping to hyperspace. Nova directed him towards the outer system of Nar Shadaa, where he would be safe for the moment while he contacted a group of smugglers he worked with. By the time they arrived, his mentor was dead.

For the next couple of years, Keid worked as a smuggler with the inherited ship, watched over by other smugglers, mostly on humanitarian missions. Although tempted by the reputation of Jenesco Nova and the Kestrel, the visions of seeing his smiling sister kept him on a relatively good path, and he limited the amount of underbelly work he did, opting instead to go against the Sith where he could with his ship to help conquered worlds and resistance fighters. Up to this point, he had been completely unaware of his Force Sensitivity, but people can only avoid those of power for so long before they are discovered, and it’s only a matter of time before a simple smuggler becomes more.

Hey Pangea, your smuggler is looking pretty good, and I added you to the tiny list I have going in the thread!

If you're open to any constructive crtiticism:

Your character is a bit overweight for a near-human of his height, which I thought I'd bring up in case it is a technical error, unless you intended him to be slightly overweight or muscled in the first place.

Though Zelosians appear to be human, they are actually pretty far from it. While many near-human beings are able to mate with each other it is because they have similar or complimentary genes and biology. Zelosians are filled with chlorophyll , which make up their blood, which in extension likely means their internal biology and DNA resembles that of a plant. Considering that they intake sugar differently and are filled with the key component for photosynthesis. Unless there was some forced genetic experimentation for whatever reason to introduce zelosian DNA into his mother's family line, then I don't think it would be possible for it to happen naturally, considering it would be a human with animal biology attempting to mate with a being that has plant-like biology. Another note is that Zelosians are technically Expanded Universe canon, so they might not be playable considering the stance on EU species the staff take in the next timeline.

I was just going on an added flair for that, its not important to his character too much, and I can remove it, no problem.
