They were far to the south, beyond the lines of the Republic, Consortium, even the Sith did not venture this far from the Galactic Core. Perhaps that was the reason that Alexander’s and Wilhelm’s target was here, because on this little planet so far from civilization he was King.

Stories of a devastating weapon that could erase a living being in seconds followed a ‘King’ who had apparently carved himself a depostic Kingdom on this planet. Power such as this interested Alexander far more than the pushing of papers back on Coruscant. So with this information in hand he contacted his secret apprentice Wilhelm and had told him to meet him near the outer rim. Here the pair transferred to a blank shuttle, no Nav computers will be able to track their movements past this point.

“How is the Navy Wilhelm?” Alexander asked, looking over at the young man who had been given the task of piloting his Master to their destination. Once again Alexander was covered head to toe in armour, his identity was perhaps his greatest secret, but completing this mission would perhaps be the final task for Wilhelm to earn Alexander’s trust. ,

Traveling in a ship with his Master, Wilhelm reflected about what they were going to do. There was a planet, far away from both the Republic and Empire, ruled by some type of King. Apparently, this ruler had something that was going to help his Master’s plan. This way, the two Sith were going here to retrieve it.

Whatever it was, it probably was very important. The planet was so far away from anywhere relevant that Wilhelm doubted that it even appeared on maps. This wasn’t any surprise that their trip here had taken so much time. While he was getting used to his Master wearing armor all the time, the boy still felt strange without knowing how the older Sith looked.

They were already training for months, but the Champion never revealed his face to him. The most of the man’s face that Wilhelm saw was when his Master was wearing a mask. Beyond that, the other Sith were alway covered from head to toe in some type of armor. The Acolyte wondered when he would trust him enough to reveal his face.

It’s going well. I think that the Grand Amiral and the Chancellor are impressed with my abilities. Next week I’m going to Empress Theta, my ship will remain there for a month.” he said to his Master. After he graduated, Wilhelm used his good grades to seek a good position in one of the Republic’s main ships. It also helped that he made a good impression with Xerxes and he seemed interested in his development.

Since they were going to arrive soon, Wilhelm decided that it was a good moment to ask for more details about what they were going to find. “From what you told me, the King will be hostile to us. It made me curious about what we are seeking there. Is it something related to the Sith?

Alexander nodded along to the Acolyte’s update of his current role within The Republic. Alexander had used his connections through the Chancellorship to secure Wilhelm a position on the flagship of the 5th Fleet, there he could hopefully form ties which would help them both in the future. “I would be surprised if he greeted us with anything but an army. Greed has fully consumed his soul.”

The blue lights of hyperspace came to an abrupt end as they appeared above the unnamed planet. “Among other organisations, yes. Though exactly the nature of the object in question I cannot be sure. I know little about it but that it is key to my plans for the future.” He replied, destiny, fate, The Force whatever you wanted to call it, pulled him towards whatever lay on this planet. It was for him and him alone to grasp.

Wilhelm reflected on his Master’s words. A King consumed by greed, this sounded like something out of a fairy tale. He wondered if the man was really deep in madness to attack them without any provocation. Even with the two being Sith, the boy doubted that they would be enough to deal with an entire army. “If this is the case, then we need to land somewhere that would be difficult for them to find us.

Then, the ship left hyperspace and Wilhelm finally could have a glimpse of how the planet was. It seemed ordinary, without many signals of development and industrialization. With so few sentient beings living there, perhaps in the end they would not be able to identify their approach.

When his Master said that he didn’t know what the object was, Wilhelm turned to stare at the Champion. He wondered if the man was lying, because he doubted that the armored Sith would ever go somewhere without even knowing everything about what he was going to find. Perhaps it was another test for the Acolyte.

Well, in this case we are going to discover what it’s together.” the boy said, before turning to look at the window. The planet was getting closer at every second. “Hopefully we will be able to avoid facing an army.

“Landing without notice would be preferred.” Alexander agreed as the ship quickly entered the planet's atmosphere. The shuttle shook slightly as its wings battered against slowly thickening air, then without warning alarms began to sound across the dashboard. The Chancellor’s eyes danced across the dashboard trying to figure out what was happening. “Miss…” Was all he was able to shout out before something crashed into the side of the shuttle slamming them to one side.

The sound of tearing metal could be heard from behind them, quickly followed by the rush of air as the shuttle became an open air speeder. Luckily for them both the attack hit the main body and not the engines or cockpit. “Get us down in that clearing.” Alexander shouted pointing to a clearing appearing on the scopes below them. As the ship rapidly descended to the surface he opened his mind and body up to The Force, this was not going to be as easy as he hoped and if he was going to get through this, he needed The Force as his ally.

Their ship had started to descend through the planet’s atmosphere and everything seemed to be going well with their landing. Suddenly, several alarms started to sound. “What is happening?” Wilhelm said, while looking at his Master with a concerned face. Were they under attack?

Before the Champion could answer him, the entire ship shook when something crashed against its side. The Acolyte needed to hold his seat or he would end up falling on the floor. Immediately, the boy tried to think about what could have happened. From his training at the Naval Academy, Wilhelm thought of the possibilities that could have caused it.

The most obvious, that they were hit by the cannon of another ship, didn’t seem to fit what happened. The way that the ship shook was more like something had collided against it. Now it brought the question of what had hit them.

Hearing his Master, Wilhelm moved faster toward the controls of the ship and prepared to land. “Be prepared, this was going to be a rough landing.” he said to the Champion, while trying to maintain the ship stable enough to not make it crash in a way that could kill the two of them.

I think that we lost a part of the ship.” he muttered, more to himself than to his Master. The shuttle fell in the clearing, leaving a large path of burned grass while it moved around the ground, before finally stopping. “However, we survived.” Wilhelm said, turning to the Champion with a smile at his lips. Training at that simulator at the Naval Academy was really helpful.
