The negotiations with the king had been short and fruitful, mostly as a result of the Imperial patrol barging into the Ancestral Retreat and disrespecting one of the most sacred sites on Shu-Torun. Already a bit disenfranchised with the Empire, the king had been shocked by the blatant show of ignorance and thus made the choice to completely break off from the Sith, agreeing to let the rebels operate on the planet without issue. All they had to do now was finish the push and kick the Empire off completely.

The higher-ups had been unable to scrounge up anyone courageous (and dumb) enough to sneak into a delving citadel and shut it down, so Levi had been forced to undertake the task himself—with a little help from someone that had proven to be skillful enough to be perfect for this task. If they did everything right, they might not even have to fight anyone.

Having made the trek from the Ancestral Retreat to the Moff's citadel, the two rebels dismounted from their speeders behind a rock, out of sight from anyone within and stealthy under the cover of night. Levi was armored just like before, with 6 thermal detonators now in a pouch hanging from his belt and a double-bladed red lightsaber that he'd looted from the Sith they'd managed to take down. Still, he looked more like a miner than a fighter, a grey cloak hanging over his body and hiding the contents of his belt from prying eyes. If anything, he was just a random traveler.

"A few mind tricks should get us in. You have the building's blueprints?" The map had been a convenient token of loyalty from the king, along with a datacard that would let them through any door they desired. They would navigate the citadel with ease if no one interrupted them.

Elix was craving for a distraction. After the Imperial hit squad had retreated he and Levi had assisted in assessing the damage done by the Impulsive and reckless members of the Imperial branch. What he found was utterly heartbreaking to anyone, including himself. The older woman he had been flirting with had died horribly with legs blown off by an Imperial grenade and covered in splinters of the very table they had been sitting at. Elix felt sick and guilty for her fate, but while Gliterryll could make him forget and a Catharese love-knot would console him, neither were present in his near future.

Instead he was handed a datachip with the blueprints of a delving citadel and the heartless orders from Alliance Command to go kill people there, too. Hadn't they been listening during his recruitment interview? He had never fired his blaster until Shu-Torun. He's a behind-the-scenes guy who steals technology or information and definitely not the blaster-wielding tough guy you send in when negotiations failed..

Regardless, it appeared he was needed on the front and thus he was here, getting off a speeder with typical miner clothes covering his armor instead of the luxury garb he wore at the palace. The Shu-Torun had bandaged his chest back at the ancestral palace and replaced the chest-plate free of charge. They were a grateful people.

Firing up his datapad that now contained the Shu-Torun datachip he was busy trying to get a good view on the blueprints. "These things-" he began to say to his Jedi partner, "-are horribly designed. A lot of bottle-neck corridors circling machinery all the way up to the upper three levels where it's suddenly a spacious villa." That spacious villa was probably were the Moff resided. Elix was eager to know if it was the Moff that had tried to kill them by sending in that hit squad and if so, kill him with the blaster he looted off the Sith. "Should be easy to pretend being workers," and it wouldn't be the first time Elix had talked his way into a factory for selfish gains.

Levi nodded, already beginning the walk toward the delving citadel. "Try not to kill anyone unless you have to," he added as they strolled, his eyes set on the structure ahead, scanning it for any movement. Levi wasn't so sure the guards were even on lookout, considering the lack of action around it. It seemed that the citadel was strapped for personnel, what with the other activity around the planet.

They reached it without a hitch, blending in to the line of miners trying to get in. There was a guard stationed up front that looked over idenfitication documents and searched any visitors, but Levi wasn't so worried about him. As they waited in queue, the two men remained silent, avoiding giving away anything as much as their accents.

"We're here to inspect the grounds, and will have unlimited access to all parts of the citadel," he began before the guard could even ask them to state their business. The man furrowed his brows for a moment, then nodded.

"You're here to inspect the grounds and will have unlimited access to all parts of the citadel," he replied like they were his own words, echoing Levi. The guard ushered them in and the Jedi didn't wait for him to repeat himself. As they entered, he stepped out of the line and took down a side corridor, which Elix would know lead toward the control room.

"Control room's up a few levels above us, right?" he asked to confirm.

By now Elix had interacted with enough Force sensitives that he wasn't surprised by the ease in which the Jedi just achieved entry into the citadel. His own gaze fixed on his datapad and the blueprints that it showed, he subtly pointed the way for the Jedi as they advanced towards the control room. "There's a multi-story engine room just around another corner. If we enter that and go up the ladder we should reach the control room's floor without having encountered another soul." At most, he figured, there could be someone performing a routine check on the engine, but that person most likely wouldn't check-in for a while and was easily disposed of he they had to.

and they went thus into the engine room, which appeared to be empty, and climbed the ladder through the cramped space and the engine's noise to exit it again on the desired level. "Should be the second door to our right in that direction," Elix said as he nodded his head to the left.

They walked down the hallway without being stopped by anyone and continued to stalk around the citadel unhindered, thankfully. After passing several unimportant-looking doors, they turned right into the engine room. It was relatively quiet besides the constant clunking of machinery and clatter of metal. Continuing on, Levi climbed up the ladder, follow Elix until the two stood on a platform leading to another door.

He nodded and pushed it open, the door slamming directly into a guard that had been stationed on the other side. "Oops," he murmured, shoving him aside with his foot so that the two could step past. What lay ahead was a long hallway with a single door at the end—the control room. Levi strode down the hall and pushed it open.

The pair moved with silent coordination, which, tested by combat, worked fine for the both of them as they quickly reached the control room. Elix had entered it behind Levi and noticed the two Imperial security officers who were only now beginning to look up and realize that it wasnt a fellow Imperial that had paid them a visit. "Don't make a fuss-" the forty-something rebel said as he raised his blaster pistol in their direction and took a view of their monitors. "Raise an alarm in section five-dash-two and close all fire-doors between the barracks and the penthouse."

The imperial operators complied under Elix watchful eyes as the latter now spoke to the Jedi, "This will give you unhindered access to the Moff and prevent reinforcements." he smiled a little and nodded to the Imperials that sat on the other side of his pistol, "I'll make sure everyone is preoccupied and help our new friends here to create a good exfil plan."

❅ THEME ❅
Quality assurance, spot checks, keeping tabs, whatever you called it, it was tedius. However it was also necessary. The Empire was large and there were numerous responsibilities to go around. Zan walked with four of her troops through the halls of the citadel. It smelled of industrialism.

She entered the building, going through all the standard checkpoint and security measures. In fact she had checked with the security team and they mentioned some miners on the holo-captures as going off course. It was probably just some guys looking to skate from their duties. "The engine room?" She asked for clarification. "What else is around there?" She was not familiar with the engineering of the citadel. "The control room, some storage, a damage locker, a small break area."

The tall Deucalian woman just murmured and made a turn. "Do you have eyes inside the control or engine room?" The man said that he only had the engine room on camera but stated they had moved out of view. To Zan that meant they had gone to one of the other rooms. She just murmured a response as usual. She was not sure if she wanted them to just be some lazy miners or not. Either way, miners did not belong in the engine room or the control room.

"Spread out. Find them." She told her troops. If they were just porking in some fan room this would be really disappointing. In her one hand she pulled out a handle of a lightsaber but left it inactive. The other hand pulled out her lullaby. If she needed to switch to its stun setting it was available. Cutting down a horny employee was probably not good for public relations but Zan was not really one to give a damn about that. Her eyes locked on the upper platform and the door that went to the control room. The Crusader began moving toward it.

The two officers looked at Elix, then at each other. One moved his hand down, and Levi's eyes immediately snapped to follow the movement. He landed a punch across the man's cheekbone as he drew his blaster, which clattered down as his body went limp. The fellow officer watched with poorly-hidden surprise as he saw that the two intruders did, in fact, mean business.

He raised the alarm and shut the doors as Elix had instructed, and Levi moved to restrain him, using some wires that were laying enough. They were thick enough to ensure the man would not be able to rip them apart and tied tight enough to ensure he wouldn't be able to weasel his way out, so the Jedi duct taped his mouth and left him alone, laying in the corner of the room.

With that, he got to work. Scanning the datacard from the Emperor, Levi was granted access to the citadel's mainframe, and he began shutting systems down as fast as he could. The lights were the first to go, with the only ones remaining on being in the room they were in. He also took the liberty of locking the entire floor the Moff was on down, since they'd be able to get through with their datacard anyway. That left them with one Imperial bureaucrat sitting in a room, just waiting to be taken out.

After the lights came the basic mining systems, from the refinery to anything else that would render the citadel useful. It was only after that was done that Levi suddenly felt something. "I've got a bad feeling," he announced in between alarm blares. "The door's locked, but keep an eye out anyway." With leg 1 of their mission done, the only thing left to do was to go up to the Moff and arrest him.

Assuming no trouble reached them.

OOC: Dara and I decided to keep the thread going but if you wanna pull out, Ecc, that's understandable.

The troops had fanned out on the lower and upper levels. They slowly and effectively moved around the area, checking in any spot that could hold a person body. Some people really liked to be sneaky and get into cupboards, trunks, and other small spaces that admittedly most people would not look inside. But Zan was not a lax leader and made sure her troops did not do things half baked.

As they moved around the area the Deucalian sith moved up to the level with the door she had eyed earlier. At the top of the ladder the lights went out, bathing her and everything outside in darkness. Something was definitely wrong and she had a pretty good idea of who had caused it. The light coming beyond the door's small port hole was still lit though.

The Sith Crusader reached out to senses momentarily verifying her assumptions that the ne'er do wells were inside the sealed room ahead. She stayed back and once she confirmed it she began to build up the force in the center of her body. Her hand pulled out one of her lightsabers but kept it inactive. The darkness of the room keeping her hidden in the event anybody peered outside the small window. Zan did not approach it. Sticking her head there might end with her getting shot through the glass which was not her idea of a good survey of the facilities.

@vamp @Ecclessey I hope that you weren't expecting me to post after your post within 48 hours. Was giving Eccl an extra chance to post if he wanted to return too.

The woman walked up to the side of the door, stacking next to it but not allowing shadowy self to be seen from the inside. Pulling her lullaby blaster pistol, the one that was matching with the Empress's own sidearm, she switched it to stun. Then, focusing the force she vanished from sight. This was not invisibility though. This was teleportation, and she quickly appeared on the other side in the confined space of the room with the two beings she had been looking for and some staff of the facility.

At once she ignited her lightsaber, prepared to defend against any danger in close proximity. The magenta colored blade cast her partially in its purple light. She raised the blaster and fired two stun bolts at the nearby pale human. If he went down she would bring the weapon over towards the other one. She did not want to kill them, yet. She wanted to take them alive for capture and learn what their plans had been. Answers were more important than an additional tally of kills she had already reaped in her lifetime.

That worry was only confirmed as he felt the Force twist up ahead—then right in front of him. A cloud of smoke materialized a couple meters away, but Levi wasn't idle. He gathered the Force within him and then sent a blast of energy toward the location the woman would appear in a moment later. She'd be sent flying and hit the closed door behind her quite roughly, not being able to raise her blaster or fire on him.

Even if she did, his hand flew to his lightsaber and it was shielding him and ignited, ready to parry anything harmful. The blast he'd aimed at the woman had been rough—sure—but not incapacitating, and he knew she'd be recovering from the daze of getting banged into a wall soon enough. What could be incapacitating was her use of the Force. Most users—Jedi or Sith—could recognize teleportation. Levi had heard mentions of it while he was a Sith, and knew that anyone using it to pass through walls was either extremely skilled or painfully dumb. Assuming she was exhausted—but not resigning to that hypothesis—he raised his blade a few millimeters higher, eyes narrowing on her. Maybe there wasn't a need to fight.

"Just ignore us," he suggested. "No one has to get hurt." And he didn't want anyone to get hurt. They were just here to shut a building down and arrest a criminal.

She was in inside but suddenly flat against the cold metal door she had bypassed. Oh, they were resisting. The push had been somewhere in the area of a hard shove. Enough for Zan's frame to make an audible slam against the door but not enough to cause her to have any sort of lasting injury or disorientation. The Deucalian had been hit harder in bar brawls.

Her urge to fight spiked from the action. He probably should have just let her pistol do the work. At his first suggestion she inhaled. During his warning she let out a force bellow. She did not advance as her face contorted to show her dark sided rage. Her eyes were still black from using the force giving her an otherworldly appearance.

The room before her was a dead end, there was only one way to advance and that was towards her but not only would the infiltrators get caught but also the workers they had taken hostage. They would all likely survive though in an incapacitated state with possible damage to their ear drums that would last the rest of their lives. The walls would collapse and crunch inward, pinning and securing those that were not nearly blinded by the sensory overload of the force based attack.

The troops outside were starting to catch on to where she had gone. They were going to begin making their way up. Unfortunately they would of course find the door locked from the inside and non of them had the same powers as the Crusader and so could not get in. Still that would not stop them from trying to unlock it from the outside.

The infiltrators could not seem to take defensive actions. The staff of the facility were also at the mercy of the Crusader's thunderous roar of anger. Portions of the wall and ceiling collapsed, the sensory overload's debilitating affect immobilizing Levi and everyone else in the room save for the Deucalian sith.

With the infiltrator(s) incapacitated Zan would promptly empty her stun blaster into them. It was more than was necessary but she was particularly pissed. After that, she opened the doors, allowing her troops to come in and aid the workers that had been held at blaster point. The others would make sure that they were restrained and detained. They removed any tools or items from their person so that would not be used for escape later on. The Crusader herself picked up the lightsaber hilt that had since been extinguished after its owner had lost consciousness. She murmured to herself, eyeing the weapon and then looked back down at Levi.

"You were right. Nobody had to get hurt." She said more to herself considering the man was not awake to hear her. But on the receiving end of her violent nature was the consequence of tangling with her, one many had endured over the years. The infiltrator(s) would be taken out of the facility and brought to a secure location for interrogation and imprisonment. Levi would definitely be scrutinized closely considering he was force sensitive. Maybe Zan had just stumbled on some knowledgeable Jedi who had some viable intelligence. Only time would tell.
