13:00/hrs Planetary Time

The shuttle lumbered through the air, ice already beginning to form on the window as the planets icy spray was ever present in the air A'donii crossed his feet that were kicked up on the dashboard of the ship, taking a drag off of his cigarra. He kicked back in the pilots chair peering over his shoulder at the small pile of equipment, including all of Seera's tools and compliments with another drag off his cigarra
"So I got babysitting detail again? Try not to fall in the snow now Vod." He said with a wise grin across his face

As the shuttle lowered towards the now visible facility in the view A'donii sat up, and strained to see ahead marveling at the construction. Perched over a large pit with drones and ships coming and going in and out, a ships was heading in their direction and they were soon hailed over comm.
"Vessel, identify yourself or be fired upon produce your landing code."
"Ahhh Nine-Zero-Alpha-Kilo-Kilo-Romeo-Four" With a pause the pilot hailed back
"Roger, authentication approved you're clear for the right side pad"

The pilot pulled off from his interception course and returned to the flight above him that was in a defense pattern above the facility. A'donii sat back once more, flipping a switch and pressing a button the ships wings turning upward and slowed down beginning its descent pattern.

Seera was sitting in the co-pilot seat, small black rings of fatigue under her eyes, showing how much the war kept busy and on demand. She enjoyed the snow which kept a smile about her face and the same smiled widened again when A'donii made his joke. "Ooooh, Save me ! Save me !" She says mimicking being stuck in the snow, with only her arms above her head wiggling them as if struggling to get back on the surface. She laughed a little and regained her composure. "Yep, you're stuck babysitting me, and I'm stuck with you" She said, not being able to find any snappy come back to his joke.

She took a large yawn as she slowly moved towards her gear to put it on, it was obvious by then that she was under alot of stress and fatigue, but the war was keeping her burned out. She rubbed each eye once with her thumb and her index and started gearing up properly. She heard him give the identification code of the ship, and get approved which took a huge load off of her shoulders, it didn't appear like much, but to her, this was a large relief.

She could feel the ship land against the ground and the snow, she made her way to the exit and awaited her A'donii, hiding a yawn once again with her forearm. "Well, this is going to be a long one I think" She'd say to him with a hint of rare pessimism that she rarely showed, she surely didn't have as much energy as she had during her first mission.

Picking up his pack he followed Seera to the door, stepping out of the shuttle and onto the snow covered landing pad. His helmet was off and in place of it was a cold weather head wrap, A'donii despised the cold and wasn't afraid to show it. He hurried down the ramp and the duo were greeted by a man in a lab coat and two armed guards, extending a hand shake the man introduced himself
"Hello, Hello my name is Dak Brannagan i'm part of the engineering team and were so glad to have you!"
"Once inside i'll take you to the engineering lab"
He said directing the words to Seera "And you must be the urban warfare consultant! Excellent!" He gestured towards A'donii

A'donii chuckled 'urban warfare expert' i'm totally putting that on a plaque..

Seera was surprised by the greeting, she wasn't all aware of the influence her military represented in other worlds yet, but this was definitely a good news for her, finally a mission that would play along her passions ! She extended her hand to meet the scientist's with a smile of her own. "Seera Lone, Clan Lone" She'd say from inside her helmet. Her armor clad in pouches filled with tools gave away that she wasn't the combat expert they had asked, but still, she looked at A'donii and told him in Mando'a as to make sure this faction didn't know what they were saying. "Good thing they didn't see how first mission together" She chuckled a bit and started following the scientist deeper inside their facility.

The door opened and a rush of warm air made its way towards the group of people that entered the facility, long ordered corridors were left before them and the scientist seemed to guide them through a maze of alley ways, sometimes passing by other people who were doing their own thing in the place. Soon they entered a large hangar and a line of hulking tanks were set up side by side at the far end of the hangar, a bit of cold hair seeped through the hangar durasteel maglock doors leading outside, but it wasn't too comfortable for Seera, she turned towards A'donii. "You ready for this?" She'd say with a smile, pointing the tanks that were built with big is good in mind.

He still turtled inside his armor for warmth as best he could, looking at Seera with discontent
"Ready for what? You've gotta help them with the whole balance and making it work better, smart people thing" he chuckled and mockingly said in a hushed tone "And I have to go be a urban warfare expert" More or less meaning he would try to share his combat experiences to fix short comings they had figured might come into play in urban combat.

"Ah, Ms. Lone good good the rest of the team is over there." The chipper engineer from earlier re-appeared and pointed towards a group of lab coats huddled by a holo terminal overlooking schematics. "Ah and you Sir.." He paused as A'donii hadn't introduced himself yet
Muffled from behind the face wrap "A'donii Spar, Clan Spar" "Ah yes Mr. Spar, were eager to work with you please follow me!" He smiled and ushered A'donii out of the large hangar like room. Over his shoulder A'donii called out to Seera "I'll see you later, try not to break anything now!"

Seera laughed at the second mandalorian's comment, the way he said it cracked her up. Being motioned towards a team of engineer she lifted her hand in the air to wave A'donii good buy. "Don't blow yourself up out there !" She'd say in reply to his comment about having her break things. She turned to the engineers, wondering if they really were engineers or just people with big paychecks.

"Aah, hello there, how's everyone here" She'd say to the team to break their little circle and to make noticed that she had arrived.

"Hello, miss...?" They in turn greeted as she replied. "Lone, call me miss Lone, it'll do" She offered a feint smile with maybe a trace of disrespect for people that weren't in the mandalorian culture. She worked her way to the middle of the group to look at the schematics of the tank and to the tank itself, sizing it up and down and looking at the schematic. "You're trying to adapt a heavy tank to urban warfare, I can see why you're having troubles" She rose her hand to her chin in a thoughtful manner. By this point the other engineers seemed to fill their chests with air and look at the Mandalorian female with disdain. "Does the weight of the tank correspond with the weight indicated on the schematic?" She looked at the tank. "And did you limit your choice of alloy with what was available on your planet?" There was nothing to look down with doing with what you have, but she tried to catch on to the situation, to see why they made the choice they had.

"The tank itself is much heavier than what was desired, and yes we use the metals available here."
At this point the Mando thought about the solutions they could try. "We could work on the framing, or change its means of mobility for urban warfare, lightening the armored plating would weaken its armor but increase its mobility in settings where buildings can be used for cover and the such."

The lab coat wearing man with the chipper demeanor led him through the twisting halls and into a small room, two other coats were standing with data-pads and pouring over data. One other man was standing at the small table, he must've been another contracted for this job as well and as the duo entered the three present peered up.
"Mr. Vork, we appreciate your time and efforts.. You're no longer needed and the guard at the door will have your payment." His face still holding the smile
"Well, hopefully this bounty hunter will be of more help." The large reptilian man hissed as he left
A'donii scowled at the man as he exited the room, then turned to the three and set his bag at the base of the small table scattered with charts, maps and notes.
Pulling the mask from his mouth "so gentlemen, lets get down to durasteel tacks. I was asked here to consult on urban tactics that might best your new design."

The three men taking chairs and offering one to A'donii the four sat for a moment as one spoke up
"So, our last man was very short sighted and generally just lacked the experience we thought we needed. So we've brought you in, 'Urban Warfare Expert'."
A'donii stifled a laugh and simply smiled then the second lab coat spoke up "So we have seen that our tank could easily be out-maneuvered due to its slow turret rotation." Taking a moment A'donii warmed up his hands by blowing into them "Well, if the turret rotates slowly you could add extra laser cannons or you'll have to dispatch infantry with it."
The back and forth continued on for several more questions before a new coat entered the room, handing out cups of caff

The engineers kept on going back and forth about solutions as Seera talked. "Tracks." She said bluntly. "The only way to keep your tank going with its current weight, AND increase its mobility, its to drop the maglift and use a set of durasteel tracks. That way, it'll be able to spin upon himself fast enough to do straight angle turns and outmaneuver any enemy tanks."

She smiled proudly at her idea. "I suggest we use durasteel tracks forged in seperate pieces, that way if one part of the track gets destroyed, the tank will remain mobile" The other engineers looked at her like she was the weirdest of aliens and then said in unison "We hadn't thought about that" She smiled and nodded. "I hadn't either....I also have another idea, about having modular tank platings." By this time, they were drinking her words like gold down a river, they wanted more of her ideas. "With slight adjustment, we could more or less easily alter the plating on the tank to increase or reduce its weight category" She looked at the tank and nodded. "The heavy tank with less armor, would be fast and dangerous, it would require very good pilots" She trailed on looking at them, as if quietly asking if they had the required staff to operate such a powerful and fast tank.

"On the other hand, we could make it modular in a way that we could increase its plating, to make it less mobile but much more resilient, creating some kind of...mobile weapons platform" She smiled and looked at them awaiting their answer. "And such a platform would be useful in urban combat?" They asked, knowing that she too was mandalorian. She nodded and smiled. "Enough to create a defensive perimeter strong enough to hold back a small squad of super commandos...for a while" She smirked a bit, embellishing the truth.

A'donii took a more relaxed stance, slouching slightly in his seat, taking the cup of caff and adding lots of creamer and sugar really it was all about sweet with a hint of caff taste. "So, if this tank were to be used in urban environment with what you've shown me thus far it'll need coax blaster cannons and something to cover its rear, maybe a mounter repeater with a turret system plus that'll add to the fear factor against civilian populace. As for tank on tank or other lighter vehicles it seems suited well the armor is thick and the size of the main weapon is large enough, but if you need to lay down a diversion have you thought to add smoke canister dispensers? You know the vehicle commander hits the switch and the smoke screen deploys giving infantry and maybe your self adequate time to maneuver under concealment."
One coat spoke up "Don't you mean cover?"
A'donii pointed at him with the cup of caff "Common misconception, cover is physical round stopping potential, concealment is a means of moving without the enemy being able to see you."

Sipping on his caff the three coats began discussing amongst themselves before notifying A'donii they needed to consult with the engineers about these design ideas and issues, and quickly exited the room. Unsure of what to do A'donii stood and peered out the window at the icy landscape below, he was baffled that someone in the dominion had labeled him an expert at anything but then again it probably sounded better and netted them more pay, with a shrug he brushed it off and lit a cigarra. Walking out into the long corridor a sign pointed left stating engineering bays and landing pads and the sign pointing right showed observation deck and storage, turning to his right he moved about the hallway without any bother from passing droids or personnel. It was like he was one of them and he wasn't about to start asking questions; after five minutes or so of walking he came to the end of the building, where a staircase led upwards and said 'observation deck'. Following it up he finished his cigarra, tossing it into the empty caff cup and setting it on a passing trash-droid.

When coming to a halt a short while after coming up the stairs he came to a horizontal set of doors of average size, pressing a button on the panel to its left they opened revealing the harsh outside climate to which A'donii made a noise and pulled the bottom half of his mask back up and produced a set of goggles from his belt putting them on quickly before stepping out. The observation deck was barren aside from some snow drifts and a railing encompassing its perimeter, stepping out to the edge overlooking the large crater looking pit he glanced over the edge immediately becoming nauseous. The pit stretched down as far as the eye could see, small ships and drones came and went, some hauling building materials others hauling and indistinguishable ore or maybe rock like chunks. Beginning to shiver A'donii thought nothing more of it and scampered back inside where he made his way back to the small conference room from before, taking his seat once more only to be beckoned via his comm-link by the chipper man telling him he was needed in engineering.

Seera looked at the tank and rose a hand to her chin in thought. Interrupting her thoughts came a bunch of new lab coats swarming her way as if she had candy for children. They came to the engineers in the bay with ideas that she knew came from A'donii. They were good ideas she thought, probably could put them to good use. "Having a pair of tracks reduces the threat of being flanked from behind, but having a manned turret system could, although at the price of weight, increase the chances of tactical victory" She said reinforcing her point of wanting tracks on the tank. Then the labcoats talked to her about employing a smoke screen, she tilted her head in thought, viewing the schematic in her head. "I think it could be possible, but we'd have to alloy some durasteel with some armorplast, to make the tank lighter, or else it'll be too slow a target and people will be able to guess the trajectory of the tank"

"That'll increase the price of the tank, but also its effective use...Armorplast is the solution to this tank" She nodded turning to the other lab coats who seemed to recalculate everything using durasteel/armorplast alloy would change. Seera looked at them with an amused smile waiting to come to the conclusion that she was right. Meanwhile she'd walk off, leaving the team talking to themselves leaning against the tank and inspecting it. She soon went under the tank to see how they could put on tracks, and where they could rework the chassis to make the tank better, she shouted from under the tank. "WE COULD EITHER REPLACE THE ARMOR PLATES WITH ARMORPLAST, OR THE CHASSIS, IT'LL WORK THE SAME I THINK" The engineers were a little baffled by her talent to guess the changes in specs without having them even look it up on the machine, but it was her talent, it was her thing.

"We'll call the expert miss's Lone, give us a moment, we want to make sure we are making the right decisions" And with that they called the other mandalorian to try and confirm what she had been saying.

Walking into the engineering bay again, he was greeted by someone with a cup of caff which he took graciously asking where the creamer and sweetner was. Quickly being swarmed by a small mob of lab-coats firing off questions about Seera's recommendations and suggestions, he went a little bug eyed at the sight.
"Uh yes, yes, no defenitly add armorplast you goon that's 101. No, no, yes reinforce the chassis!"
Some of the coats scampered off calling on droids to start gathering materials and some workers swarmed around a partially built tank frame, swapping parts and pulling off bits and pieces. A man came in with a heavy repeater thrown over his shoulder, laying it on the table with a heavy thud and then left to get more.
"So get to it, you have my 'expert' opinion.. Yes yes youre very welcome but thank Ms. Lone they were here ideas!"
A protocol droid approached A'donii tapping on his shoulder to get the mans attention
"Sir, yours and Ms. Lone's changes and insight are being added to the next test of the tank's body and it should be ready before long."
The droid made the motion of a bow and left the room. A'donii went over and kicked Seera in the boot
"Hey did you hear the droid they'll have a test version with our revisions ready to see soon."
