ORIGINS​

"I don't remember much about Tatooine, just the Raiders... and the sand.

Dodger Brinn was born to Aleya and Droxl Brinn, two moisture farmers who lived on the outskirts of Mos Eisley in a small homestead. Only a few months after he had been born, Dodger's parents and several other farmers in the surrounding area were killed by a tribe of angry Tuskin Raiders. After they had murdered his family, the raiders eventually came upon a crying Dodger, the men, intent on leaving no survivors, prepared to kill him, however, before they could land the blow, a female warrior blocked their path and declared that she would raise the boy to be like them. Hesitantly, the men decided to let the woman have her way, she scooped him up in her arms, and rode back to the Raider's village.

The woman told a young Dodger that her name was A'Shee and that he was her son, A'Kett, she raised him to be a fierce and skilled warrior, often forcing him to take the bloodrite as a sign of strength. Though she could be cruel and overbearing, A'Shee loved Dodger and was often quite a caring mother, he was usually content during their time together. Years of training and fighting made Dodger a prized young warrior among the Tusken Raiders, especially after he showed displayed the capability of having the Force, many thought that this was a sign that he would become an excellent warrior and lead them to numerous victories. However, at the age of nine, his colony was ransacked and destroyed by the family of his murdered neighbors, during the attack, one man noticed Dodger and remembered seeing his exuberant eyes many times before. The man spared his life and brought him back Mos Eisley, here, he revealed that he was actually Dodger's uncle, and that the Force-Sensitive Raider was not A'Kett, but Dodger Brinn, the son of two moisture farmers. Dodger refused to listen to this, he kicked and screamed, all while demanding to see his mother. Only after months and months of rehabilitation did he accept his true identity. Shortly after thisclosure, Dodger began to exhibit even more signs of being force-sensitive, which promptly caused his uncle to contact the Jedi Order, who took him off of Tatooine and back to the Temple.

Though hesitant at first, Dodger eventually submitted and began to train as a Jedi Knight, a guardian of the galaxy. Over the past few years he has become softer and kinder, but still very also distant and reserved. At the age of fourteen, Dodger crafted himself a lightsaber with a light-blue hue, a blade he has now used for four years. During this time of healing, Dodger has identified himself as openly gay, but, he doesn't have any actual dating experience. Now eighteen, Dodger hopes to finally find himself a Master, to teach him more about the ways of the Force than just what the books in the library have to say.

ABILITIES​

Telekinesis
Being only a Padawan, Dodger has very limited skill in this field of the Force, though he can move most things with his mind, he has yet to completely master telekinesis and often has trouble gathering enough focus to use it. He has proven himself capable of utilizing it in battle, but usually very recklessly and sloppy.

Healing
Dodger has very poor skill in healing with the Force, he can just barely recover himself from even the smallest of wounds and can't even snap himself out of confusion or hypnosis. Though he isn't particularly useful at healing, Dodger hopes to learn how to master the ability one day.

Status Effects
Dodger has not even begun training in this area of the Force, though he has attempted to start practicing in this field of the Force, he has yet to successfully begin any formal training.

Trances
Like status effects, Dodger has yet to train extensively in this aspect of the Force. While he can meditate in a trance, he has yet to perform any other feats.

Sense
Just like most other Force users, Dodger is highly attune with his Force-sense and is very quick at reacting to any kind of danger that he picks up. This is where Dodger really shines when it comes to the Force, as his senses are heightened enough to know when someone is lying, though he is not always correct, he has managed to catch many criminals through this ability. When someone is lying, Dodger describes it as a tingle in his body, similar to the feeling of goosebumps, which he has sometimes mistaken as signs of a liar.

Mental Manipulation
Dodger has a limited capacity in this field as well, the teenager usually has problems with getting a person to completely perform the actions he tells them to do. While most older Jedi can do this to anyone, Dodger can only really control someone if they are weak of will, character, and mental fortitude.

PERSONALITY​

Dodger was once a prized fighting machine, confident in his abilities and not afraid of the sight of blood, however, as he has grown, he has become more docile and reserved. In his youth, he was outgoing, carefree, and generally happy, he was always looking for trouble and constantly picking fights as well. As a warrior he was rowdy and unbound, generally defeating his enemies in brutal and unnerving manners, which made many from his clan believe that he would lead them to greatness.

Currently, he is quiet and distant, generally trying to keep away from people. It isn't that he's become any less humorous or fun, it's just that he prefers to be alone, however, he'll never turn down anyone who comes up to talk to him. Most people will find that he is quite enjoyable to talk to and very helpful, his kindness and sincerity are known very well, this has earned him many an ally among the Order. It is likely that with a helping hand or good friend, Dodger will become more of a social creature, but as it stands, he is quite remote.
