NAME: Doctor D'jek

APPEARANCE: D'jek stands a little over six feet tall and weighs about 150lbs. While not fat he can't or simply doesn't find time to work out and is not extremely strong. D'jek also possesses green eyes and brown hair. His hands, especially his fingertips, are scared and thick from cuts although he usually keeps them hidden with gloves. He also is almost never seen without his mask and scrubs.
PERSONALITY: D'jek has a very dry and sarcastic bedside manner, often making jokes about how his patients had gotten themselves into their situation while providing very little moral support. He has become rather apathetic to people's suffering and often only administers anesthesia because he finds their pained screams annoying.
BIOGRAPHY: Born to an affluent Alderanian family of doctors D'jek's adolescent life was filled with many pleasures as most of his needs were catered to with little to no work on his part. School came easy to him as he always tinkered with things in order to figure out how they worked and was especially fascinated with the cybernetic integration to organic tissue. When he graduated high school he went on to graduate from Alderaan's prestigious medical school and relocated to Coruscant to open a practice.
He had a falling out with his parents and unable to pay the bills D'jek turned to selling prescription narcotics in order to earn extra money. Eventually he was caught and was sentenced to 25 years in prison of which he served 2. Out on the street, broke, and without a license; D'jek legally changed his first name to 'Doctor' to spite the people who revoked his card before getting on a transport to Nar'shada to continue his practice where nobody asked questions. Getting arrested proved to be a blessing in disguise for D'jek as his brief stint in prison provided him with the much needed reputation boost needed to operate unmolested within Hutt territory.
Today D'jek passes time by working in his one man clinic where he frequently treats strung out junkies, blaster wounds, and damaged cybernetic limbs. He also uses his new found freedom from the law to hone his craft and to invent new types of experimental medicine, most of which fail horribly.
