DESCRIPTION​

The Blastech DL-7 was built to be the bigger, badder brother of the very popular and successful DH-7 blaster pistol. It was designed to be sold to military corporations for naval use but with the galaxy-wide restrictions placed on heavy blasters, sales didn't do nearly as well as they could have. But there was still a niche market to cash in on, with very few competitors. The DL-7 found itself in direct competition with the legendary Lullaby and notorious Renegade that ran the show. But what helped the DL-7 in this market immensely to get a jump in sales, was the name. Blastech had proven itself time and time again. And this gun was no different. It was solid, rugged and very reliable like any other Blastech weapon. But what made it stand out was it's lifespan. Heavy weapons deteriorate a lot faster than usual...but this weapon had a technical edge over its competition that gave it a much longer lifespan than other heavy blasters.

LEGALITY​

Heavy Blasters are highly destructive and therefore highly illegal in all moderately civilized system, including all of Sith space. While not as heavily legislated against as disruptors, getting caught with a heavy blaster pistol in the wrong place can still land you a healthy sentence working a spice mine on Kessel.

To create a generic reskin of the Renegade heavy blaster pistol.
