A crack of lightning erupted overhead, a native creature called out to the right, Freyja reacted by her hand dropping down to the blaster at her hip. The winged beast flapped away, daring the skies to strike it down as it flew away. Another crack erupted over the next hill, the thunder rolling across the plain before her. Across it sat her destination, the ruinous halls of the Jedi Library of Ossus. It was a danger coming here, her kind was now being actively hunted across the galaxy after the fiasco on Coreilla. She was amazed at how foolish some of her so-called order could be. They were a few dozen strong at the best and they decided to announce themselves to the single strongest Empire in the Galaxy, thousands of Sith and a million soldiers stood behind that banner, now all of there interest was fixed on just a few dozen people.

Freyja had watched the Holo feed live when Darth Vrael had shown the severed head of the old Empress to the galaxy, another reason Corellia was stupid, the civil war was all but over, the Sith were not even divided anymore. Only the Mandalorian's stood as a thorn in the side of the Empire and they were only a few planet strong themselves.

This dissatisfaction and frustration had led her here, so deep into Sith Space, in search of answers, to further her ability and power. The slow Jedi teaching was annoying the new Padawan, she had learned the basics and nothing further, her Masters to interested in going off to save helpless individuals on Coreilla and Nar Shaddaa than train the students they were tasked with saving. Freyja spat in the dirt at the thought of it all. She had to further her own power it seemed and nothing within the burgeoning Jedi Order could satisfy the desire she had. So she searched through their history and found this location, Ossus once a great repository of Jedi Knowledge. Now it lay in partial ruins, the Sith letting it rot over the past five hundred years. Her masters and the other Jedi would have warned her against making the trip out this far, even Kara had been hesitant in flying this far into Sith Space. But Freyja had been insistent, the rest of Jedi were pillaging the outer-rim for her to find anything of real use she needed to be daring. So here she was clad in her usual battle gear, a rifle and sword over her should a blaster at her hip. Trudging through the dirt.

Vrael looked up from the rubble he'd been shifting through, eyes narrowing under his helmet. He sensed a presence in the force, one nearby and closing in. A person wracked by some conflict, their inner torments obvious even from here. Whomever it was, they were being led by about their emotions, right into a world of hurt. Straightening up, the Emperor of the Sith sniffed the air and walked out of the room, beckoning to the guards he'd brought with him. The two huge Massassi rose up from where they too had been searching and went to flank him accordingly, their footsteps thundering within the silent ruin.

He'd come to Ossus particularly to investigate these old ruins, to look at this piece of Jedi history himself. It was important he'd felt, what with the recent resurgence. Not that he'd found anything so far, not even with his two Massassi aides helping out. This current development, had been the only development. Thus he was of course going to investigate, if only to do something potentially worthwhile this day. Forcing himself to dig through an old Jedi site was already offensive enough, doing so without anything to show for it was beyond aggravating.

Slowly and carefully, Vrael retraced his steps through the ruin, still following that invisible thread in his mind. He didn't know per say that something awaited him, but the force was whispering in his ear for a reason. Something was shifting the eddies and currents of the river of life, and Vrael was heading right for the guilty pebble. His own armor and weaponry was on his person, masking him as simple soldier of the Empire. The two flanking Massassi would look a bit out of place admittedly, their red bulk towering behind him as if he far outranked them. Stepping out of the ruins and looking about, Vrael immediately caught sight of the figure across from the entrance.

It wasn't immediately recognizable as a Sith, and Vrael shifted into battle mode. The two Massassi did as well, drawing their lightsabers and jumping in front of him with vicious snarls. He reached for his weapons and the force, ready to react as he called out. "You there! Who are you and what business do you have here?"

As she continued to walk closer to the ruins a black cloud began to gather around the rubble. The cloud wasn't visible to the naked eye, to anyone else on the planet all seemed the same, but in the mind's eye that Freyja had identified as the force a black cloud a shadow was pouring forth from the cracks in the stone. Freyja stopped mid-stride as the darkness grew further, it reminded her of that own darkness inside her before she woke to the force. Then from the rubble, three figures appeared, the first in front was wearing basic Sith armour, "Frak." She said between gritted breath, she had hoped to not see anyone here on the planet let alone a Sith Soldier.

The two to either side of him were more intriguing, great hulking beasts, their dark red skin protruding between their own armour, they were Massassi, she was sure of it. Her studies back in the core had shown her pictures of the beasts, this was no ordinary Sith Soldier, Freyja could guess that from the presence of the two beasts. Although perhaps there was another inside, their true master, Freyja contemplated it for a moment, but the force did not guide her to another person. The dark cloud was coming from the man in the centre, he was the one in charge. As they neared the two beasts lept forward drawing their light-sabres, the snap-hiss of their ignition was followed by another crack of lighting.

There were two ways to proceed now Freyja decided, to attack and hope that some of this training both Jedi and Imperial Agent paid off and she could take down these three, or try and talk her way out of here. Neither of them seemed plausible, the Sith were not great talkers and she wasn't that great at fighting, perhaps one on one but with the two Massassi she had no chance. 'Let's try talking first.' She thought, letting go of the blaster on her hip she raised her hands up to her sides. "My name is Freyja, I am looking for tech." She said with a thick Hutta accent, hopefully, she could get away with the whole scavenger gimmick. "What would a Sith be doing here?" She asked back "I doubt the Jedi Vrael spoke about would be crawling around here. I heard they were out by Dagobah."

The girl didn't reach for her weapons, a wise decision for sure. Not that his guards backed down, stepping forward with obvious bloodlust. Ah, so they sensed it too, the faintest reek of the light. Vrael stepped forward closer towards the woman, casually glancing about for anyone else. No one, no one he could see or sense at least. He returned his gaze to the person in front of him, this Freyja, as he considered her words and story. That name, he had heard it before somewhere hadn't he? It had been recent too, on some sort of official report document...

Vrael put it out of his mind for the moment, finally giving a response as got closer. "I feel any Sith would be wise to come here," he stated, shrugging slightly as he examined the girl. "Is it really so strange that old Jedi ruins would be under investigation when Jedi have resurfaced? No, I think the real curiosity here is you, the one also heading for a Jedi ruin." They were only a few meters apart now, and Vrael gestured for the two Massassi to step forward. "Take her weapons, " he said, whereupon one of the two would then move closer and attempt to do so. Vrael would carefully draw his blaster, tapping it meaningfully against his thigh for the girl to see. It would be obvious what he intended should she resist.

After that was done, should she allow herself to be disarmed, Vrael would gradually move closer. He was still looking up and down her, trying to remember whom she was. She was undoubtedly the person he'd sensed, he could tell that much. And the taste of inner conflict was stronger than ever, as was the presence within the force. Eventually he would speak once more, a firm tone that demanded answers immediately. He didn't believe that Hutta accent for a moment, and if it were real, it meant a possible trespasser from the IH. "What is your full name? And why are you really here? And why...do I sense such discord within you?"

"Hey, a girl has to eat." She said to the man at his question to her being around the Jedi ruins. The order to disarm, triggered her fight or flight instincts, for a moment her body twitched, her instincts telling her to swing her blaster up and take aim at the giant Massassi walking towards her, at this range, she could get a clean shot in his chest before he could react. But then she had the other two. She could take the other Massassi, it would be a pain but she could do it. Her worry was the man, he clearly held command over these two and that meant one thing in the Empire, Power.

This far out in the galaxy that power was not political or based on a name, it was sheer force of will and might. For him to control these creatures he had to have some weight behind him. The blaster in his hand did not fool Freyja, he had the force at his control, a black dark control over it that Freyja would have a tough time dealing with face to face let alone with these two massive brutes at his side. That instinct to fight was forced under by her desire to not die a pointless and possibly painful death at the hands of these three.

Throwing her hands up, she gave into the man's demands. "Ok, here you go big fella." She said with a smile, she unslung the rifle letting it drop to the floor by her feet. She swung the sword sheath over her head and handed it to the beast, along with her belt, blaster, detonators in tow. As she passed over the blaster and detonator she ran her hands along them lightly touching them all.

As the creature backed away the man in charge approached her, she gave him a warm smile. "I believe it is polite for a gentleman to introduce himself first?" She replied to the man, both her hands hung at her side her palms outstretched facing towards to the Massassi as a sign of no foul play.

Vrael just stared at the girl for a long moment, pondering on how to answer. Such insolence when being questioned, some would've run her through the moment they'd heard it. He felt the urge, he really did, but he abstained. It would be shortsighted to simply kill someone like this, not without getting information first a the very least. He decided to give her what she asked, she had given over her weapons after all. It would be good to establish a give and receive trust from the get go, depending on how this went. So he reached up with his free hand, and removed his helmet, exposing his face to the woman.

It was probably obvious who he was, at least to anyone with half a brain. Vrael introduced himself all the same, briefly inclining his head as he spoke. "I am Darth Vrael, Emperor of the Sith. I trust this is satisfactory?" Holding the helmet by his side, Vrael would move to the Massassi and briefly look over the taken weapons. It was fairly standard stuff, for a soldier or mercenary. Would a simple scavenger really be carting around so much weaponry, and explosives even? No, this wasn't the gear of a person desperate for money or to make ends meet.

He turned back to the girl and clapped his hands impatiently. "Well, out with it! Your full name and occupation? And why do you have a presence within the force that indicated training of some sort?" Vrael was already considering the worst possibility, that he perhaps stood in front of another Jedi. Still, if that was the case, why had he sensed so much conflict earlier? This person wasn't a Sith, or not an Acolyte perhaps. Vrael usually made a point of reviewing troop reports, and most Sith seemed familiar to him at least, even if he couldn't remember their names.
