Tasha didn’t think Gil ever saw her without heels, so this would be yet another first for them. She was actually wearing pants and boots and was dressed for the job. Even before they began this operation, there were enough snarky remarks from Gil to where she almost punched him in the throat a few times. In the end, they finally got it together to make it out here near a warehouse where several members of management were meeting.

The warehouse tried very hard to look inconspicuous, working hard not to draw any attention to themselves. The building looked as bland as possible, and there was no visible security up front. Tasha and Gil had a plan to pose as security, but they needed to nab some uniforms first. She looked through a set of macrobinoculars, scoping around till she finally spotted two men patrolling near the side of the building.

“There,” She nudged Gil to look that way. Tasha hadn’t told Gil anything about her past as a Sith or her extensive combat skills. If he asked, she would simply say she served time in the military in her younger years, because that was easier to explain than the Sith thing. She began to wonder how she could discreetly use the Force to kill the men.

“Got a plan?” She asked Gil, still looking at the two men lazily walking back and forth, "And no, going to ask them nicely isn't an option," It was clear they were bored. Somehow guarding one of the most illegal operations in the galaxy was a dull affair. Tasha brought a vibrosword and, upon Gil insisting, a pistol. She despised using guns, but without a lightsaber, she was stuck with archaic weapons.

It was too easy to pick on Tasha and her recently expanded wardrobe. Though she kept insisting she didn't need a blaster but he was the dumbass who was always trying to get himself killed. They wouldn't want to draw attention to themselves anyway, but if they got into a bind and had to bail, it was always good to have a blaster or three.

The first part of the plan was simple, they had to find two OutlawTech security enforces and steal their uniforms. They had been sitting outside the factory for awhile until Tasha finally spotted to guards of the correct size for both of them. He had zoned out for a minute when Tasha nudged him. "Hrm?" he sounded, refocusing. "It's about kriffing time.." he said, sitting up slightly.

He scoffed "Like you do anything nicely.." he said, taking the binocs and scanning for himself. "I told you, you should have worn your old uniform...that would have got their attention for sure. They'd probably just given us their uniforms." he said looking at her out of the corner of his eyes, a grin tugging at his mouth before going back to scanning.

"Alright." he said watching as the guards rested against a wall. "Next time they go make their rounds, we hop the fence and hide in those bushes." he said point to the corner of the lot. "When they come back around, we make just enough noise to get their attention, take them out. Quick and easy." he said looking to Tasha for objections, which she likely would have even if was the galaxy's greatest plan.

Tasha grinned as he suggested having worn her old uniform, “Yeah, then it would’ve distracted you too and made you even less useful than you already are,” She put the binocs away, finding his plan okay for now. The idea of hiding in some bushes sounded absurd for someone like her, but she could roll with it, “I just hope you can pull their helmet over those ridiculous ears of yours.”

They waited for a bit longer and the guards began to walk again. Tasha moved quickly and silently, light on her feet as she made her way over to the fence. She was surprisingly nimble, easily carrying herself over and landing in a low crouch. Tasha didn’t look back to see how Gil was faring, her gaze trained ahead to ensure no one was looking just yet. She darted across and crouched down behind the bushes he had pointed out, waiting silently for him to join.

Tasha looked at Gil for a moment, blinking, “What um...noise did you mean?” She looked over and gave a high pitched noise that sounded like some strange, exotic bird. Tasha looked at the two men - they paused and started to look around in the sky, completely confused and not moving an inch closer towards the bushes.

The Pantoran sighed and lightly smacked her own forehead. This was going to be a long day...

She...wasn't wrong about being distracted. He handed the binocs back to her and they waited for the guards the disappear around the side of the building. They only had a few minutes before the guards came back and they would have to wait for another round and if they messed this up, the second attempt would be much more difficult if not impossible.

They exited their cover and ran towards the fence. Tasha was faster, moved more fluidly than Gil did but he managed to keep up. He hit the fence, and while Tasha did the whole jump in one fluid motion, he had to pull himself up and throw himself over. He landed, crouching as they dove in the bushes and waited for the guards to come back.

"..Just any..." his whisper was cut off by a loud shrill whistle. "What the kriff was that..." he said, staying quiet. She smacked her forehead and Gil shook with silent laughter when they looked to the sky instead of the bush. The trick a dumb thug, you had to think like a dumb thug, luckily, Tasha had brought one.

"Watch a master." he said, reaching up and taking one of the branches from the bush and shook it, drawing their attention. Flashlights pointed at them, Gil crouching lower as they approached. He would rub that one in later, for now, he got ready to jump out.

"I keep telling you! Ghosts aren't real! That's probably just the wind or something..." one guard said to the other. "NO! I keep telling YOU! Did you watch to holo-documentary I sent you. ITS ALL THERE!" the other guard replied as they reached within a few feet of the bush, scanning with their lights.

Tasha glared at him as he shook with laughter, almost giving them away right there. She was about to open her mouth for him to demonstrate his brilliant idea, but it was something as stupidly simple as shaking a branch around. Tasha gritted her teeth, knowing she would never hear the end of this. Gil would always have that obnoxious shit eating grin whenever they recalled this moment.

She sighed, watching the men make their way over. She could hear them arguing, and they took their time walking over.

“I’m not going to waste my time watching a stupid documentary.”

“Old man Billy Jo Bob always said these parts were haunted!”

“Well..If these are ghosts and monsters, why the hell are we walking towards them?”

That got the first man to pause. He stopped and turned his flashlight to point at the other man, which prompted him to also turn and point his flashlight. This meant both were pointed away from the bush, but the men were close enough. They burst into argument about stereotypes of who died first in scary Holomovies, giving Tasha and Gil more than enough opportunity to nab them.

Tasha sprang like a viper, jutting out and grasping the first man and slamming the hilt of the vibroblade into his helmet. This jarred him enough for her to pull it off and slam it again along his temple. This second strike knocked him out cold and left the uniform intact and without blood. She hoped Gil managed to take his guy down just as efficiently and without mess.

She went back into their hiding spot and rapidly undid her clothing to swap out for the uniform. Tasha didn’t care if Gil saw - it wasn’t anything he hadn’t seen before - but she kept glancing over to ensure no other guards followed. After she was done, she put her helmet on, looking over to Gil, “Okay, ready to roll. Don’t kriff this up, monkey lizard.”

He kind of wanted to hear where the conversation took them, it was fascinating to witness dumbasses in their natural habitat. They turned and started to argue, Gil sighed, it was too good of an opportunity to pass up.

Tasha lunged first, and Gil ran into the 2nd guard with all his force. It wasn't as elegant and clean as Tasha's takedown, but it worked. The two exchanged several blows back and forth before Gil finally got his hands under the man's helmet and around his throat. The man kicked for several seconds, Gil bearing down harder on his throat and finally, he fell still.

Gil dragged his guard behind the bushes and began exchanging the clothing. He slid the helmet on, it fitting perfectly over his ears. They hid the bodies and jumped back over the fence and made their way towards their actual objective.

The meeting was a couple of blocks down, large groups from two OutlawTech Warehouse were meeting in secret to discuss unionizing. They had long complained about unsafe work environments and low wages. Their job was simple, start a fire within the workforce and let it destabilize the company in this region, it would make them easy pickings for Tasha.

There were two "guards" out front the large meeting hall they rented. They were really just big guys with blasters, there to look more intimidating than anything. They came up and around an alleyway that ran alongside the meeting hall. Gil lingered back in the shadows, getting ready. "You want to whistle at these two orr..." he said, chuckling.

He then stepped into the open, his blaster already drawn. He took aim and fired several times at the first guard. He didn't bother being quick or quiet, they wanted this to be loud.

Tasha followed Gil rapidly, though the uniform was loose on her. She hoped no one would have the chance to really stand and observe it. Tasha smoothly hopped over the fence, still annoyed at not having a saber on her. She made her way towards where the meeting was happening, spotting the guards outside. Before Gil could even finish speaking, she harshly elbowed him in the ribs. There was only so much snark she could take.

She coiled the Force around one of the men’s blasters, yanking it from his grip. From Gil’s perspective, it would simply look as if he randomly dropped it. Tasha acted at once, rapidly closing the distance and swinging her blade out and making quick work of slashing him up. Using a blade came naturally to her, and she had to remember that they were supposed to make noise and not make quick, silent kills.

She drew the blade back and took out the blaster, rushing in and beginning to fire into the crowds. The gathering erupted into screams, everyone running in different directions. Tasha continued to shoot at random, the blade back out as she tore through the crowd and slashed at those in her path. She moved liked a dancer, light on her feet and a blur of motions as she left a trail of bodies behind her.

At some point she skidded to a stop near Gil, looking over at him, “Should I keep going or…?” It was clear that she was exceptionally good at killing. This was all new exposure that Gil hadn’t seen before. Tasha wasn’t entirely concerned with what he suspected - it was just the two of them working together.

They quickly put down the guards outside and Gil kicked in the door. He raised his blaster and put a shot through the first man he saw. Screams erupted from the crowd as everyone pushed away from Tasha and Gil.

With each shot, another factory worker fell. He noticed several people tried to fight back against Tasha and she cut them down with fluid strikes. Those certainly were not the skills one learned dancing, or even just a rough upbringing and not something that could have been learned in a year. He logged that away.

He dropped a few more of the fleeing workers. He saw one person laying on the ground, trying to discreetly film what was happening. That is what he wanted. This didn't do any good if word of the attack didn't spread.

He pushed towards the front of the room where a podium was set up, behind it a "WORKERS UNITE!" banner. Tasha came up beside him. "That's enough, I think." he said.

Gil jumped up on the small platform, ripping the banner down. He crumbled the paper flag and took out a lighter, setting it ablaze. He tossed it to the side, it quickly started catching the room on fire. The fire would likely kill more people, but their message was crystal clear.

He made his way towards the door, throwing people out of the way who were too dumb not to run from the two guards.

There was pure chaos everywhere, though Tasha wasn’t new to any of this. She had been in countless battles, and that was after she had her own petty riots and fights back on Pantora. None of this phased her anymore, and she kept her cool while walking through the droves of people, leveling and firing her pistol every now and then. By her mannerisms, it was almost as if she were bored.

Tasha saw Gil light a fire, and she decided to offer some assistance. She gathered the Force to make the flames rise higher and rapidly spread, the fire roaring now more than ever. It was suddenly massive and spiraling throughout the meeting area. By now, the halls were covered in thick smoke, and people ran in all directions. The managers were the first to run, shoving past the workers and leaving them behind. This only helped perpetuate the image that the higher ups simply didn’t care.

She joined Gil in escaping the inferno, smoke pluming out from the building. There was an alarm blaring somewhere and people scattered in different directions. Tasha came outside, watching everyone scatter. She had the helmet still on, grimacing.

“How do people stay in these clothes all day?” She muttered, “It’s so damn hot and my breath is fogging up the front,” Tasha was entirely unfazed by the massacre they had just caused, “And I’m sweatier than I used to get working all night at the Lekku.”

People scrambled over one another to get out. They watched for a time as the entire building went up in flames. He had not expected the building to go up that quick, there must have been some explosive or highly flammable combustible.

Normally he would quipped back at her, making some smart comment, but nothing came. He didn't enjoy this work, he never had. It had never stopped him from doing his job, but to say it didn't bother him at all was a lie. "Come on. Let's get out of here." he said spotting people beginning to arrive. They had done their part, no it was time for the workers to their part, though they wouldn't know until morning how well they had done.

The next morning, smoke could be seen rising from the plant nearest to them, the one they had snuck in to get their disguises. Gil sipped from a glass of caf, watching the reports on the news. After coming under attack, local works had rallied together and started protesting throughout the night, blaming the company they worked for the attack.

Outlaw Tech had put out a statement saying two of the guards had been knocked out the previous night, their uniforms taken but came off as looking like a weak cover story. The protests had turned violet quickly as workers through gas bombs at the plant. It was unknown how many were injured in the attack and subsequent fire.

He clicked off the holoscreen. Things had gone perfectly. Now they would move onto the next phase of their plan, buying themselves a bit of leverage that was bound to pay off before the whole thing was over.
