The table is more for me than it is for you, I'm sure, but still.

D100
  • +5 to die roll for every character level above 1.
  • 100 - Critical Success! Things go perfectly and you get a major positive bonus effect.
  • 81-99 - Major Success! Things go perfectly and you get a minor positive bonus effect.
  • 51-80 - Success! Things go exactly as planned.
  • 26-50 - Minor Success! You achieved your goal, but some sort of negative comes along with it.
  • 11-25 - Minor Failure! You failed with a minor consequence.
  • 2-10 - Major Failure! You failed miserably, with a major consequence as a result.
  • 1 - Critical Failure! God have mercy on you.

Rolling for number of enemies.

(Rolling 2 d6s instead of d10s because this is an infiltration/assassination assignment in a personal domicile, and so stealth is a must. Reinforcements may show depending on rolls and player-made choices.)

Edit: Botched the dice command like twice before I got it right, and the last time I rolled an 8 (did the thing where they double because I used the command twice, as opposed to doing 2dX). So, to make up the difference, 1 of the 7 enemies will be better armoured than the other 6.

There are 7 enemies to be encountered, and they'll be heading to find what happened to the power, which isn't near the back door. Rolling a d20 to check if they'll encounter enemies, and if so, which one. 1 is strong boi, 2-7 is one of the rest. Anything higher means none at this juncture.

PS: Not every guard would move to figure out what was wrong at once, as that'd be a horrible tactical move. Only a few would, which is why the odds of success were this high.

Apologies for double posting, but forgot to do it before. Rolling 1d4 to see how many guards will be heading out to check the matter. This is, naturally, information that is unknown to Tarn and Callum, and is here only as a DM aid.

Edit: High rolls, lol. Means 4 are left inside the house. The big boi we'll consider a peg above the rest and so naturally he'll be one of the ones who stayed.
