The LK-6800 Speeder Truck made it's way down the street with it's armored mandalorian warriors in the cab's driver and passenger seats along with the duo standing on the rear running board. Wyatt and Dio had been tasked with the 'quiet collection' of a small cell of seditionists operating in Keldabe city, the government had been monitoring their activity as of late and intel indicates they may be making a move to aid the return of the imperial forces. If they can not be taken alive recover the bodies and equipment from the safe house, let no one escape the raid or all we are doing to unite the clans under Solus will be for nothing.

As the truck came to a halt out front of the high rise in the busy district, the driver threw it in reverse and parked in the alley before patting the door twice to signal the two man team it was time to go in. The back of the truck had been converted to carry prisoners without drawing any attention and there would be other mandalorians on standby if the cell turned out to be more than the duo could handle.

Wyatt dismounted the vehicle carrying his standard load out and sporting a small bag attached to his thigh full of binder-cuffs. The report had placed the cell on the top floor of the high rise the two were entering, and Wyatt spoke to Dio through the helmet communicator.

"Intel put them on the top floor, only one or two guys but they've picked up some serious gear for whatever attack they're planning... So lets grab them quick, get the gear and get out of dodge before others from the cell show."

Wyatt said as he pressed the button for the lift, having slung his bowcaster on his back in favor of his pistol for the close quarters.

Diocletian rolled through the city street of Keldabe, his hometown. Dio knew this place like the back of his hand, having learned the ways of these streets the hard way as a little boy. He kept his head on a swivel as they moved through the backstreets and sideways of the city. Their target was not soft by any means and this had the potential to be anything but a milk run.

The seditionists had apparently been in the process of loading for bear when the Mandalorian government had stumbled across them. The mission to take them down had been given to Clan Solus and Dio was determined not to fail. He knew these seditionists could be tough customers, but he had full confidence in Wyatt as this would be several missions they had been on together.

Dio wore his usual heavy Beskar’gam, its new upgrades were easily apparent to any observers. He had added a jet-pack and a wrist rocket to his usual armament. He had his old standby the Shriek-Hawk across his back and was holding his new bowcaster. He also had his Strill blaster pistol in a holster attached to one thigh and a bandoleer of grenades. A new addition that led the well informed to know he was not to be trifled with was a set of Mandalorian vambraces that encircled his forearms.

Following Wyatt to the lift, he heard the intel briefing and nodded his affirmation of the info. He stood beside Wyatt as the lift arrived and the two of them filed in. Looking at the buttons he considered them before hitting the button for the top and turning to his partner. He had none of the cuffs that Wyatt was toting, he would be the over watch and muscle for this job.

The lift came to a halt on the top floor, and Wyatt stepped out of the lift to a hallway with four doors, two on each side and a window at the opposite end of the hallway. No one was currently present in the halls and the floor was quiet so Wyatt headed to the other end of the hallway and looked out the open window and to his expectation it held a ladder, but not a fire escape ladder, this had been installed custom. He motioned to Dio letting him know there was a second way out if things got crazy, but knowing that these enemies of the state had done this much to prepare a safe house was cause for concern.

He returned to Dio and motioned to one side of the hallway as he walked to the other, turning up the helmets playback as he put his head close to the door to listen for movement or some sort of indication it was the target room. Simultaneously activating the helmets recorder as he leaned in, the first door was only the sound of someones animal making a noise to be fed as the owner calmed it down and began getting food. With a shake of his head Wyatt moved to the second door and put his head close, within a few moments he began picking up fragments of conversation, and he strained to pull parts of it out. "-no we can't...that'll be too open...protection will be...how will we get out?" Wyatt pulled his ear away to see if Dio had heard anything interesting on his side before he would present his piece and they would make a decision of which door to bust down. @Critas

Diocletian saw the floor slicker as the lift rose into the building. As it neared their destination, he dropped into a tactical crouch and set his arm against the door to brace. If they had a waiting committee to engage on the top floor, he would be ready. As the lift reached its destination, the doors opened, and he saw no immediate threats in the hallway. He slid out of the lift, moving to the side of the hallway opposite Wyatt.

He leaned in to the doors and listened intently to both doors. He could hear nothing on either side. There was no sound coming from the rooms at all. Turning to look at Wyatt he shook his head and shrugged to indicate he couldn’t tell which door the target was. He looked down the hallway trying to figure out from any other sign in the hallway, hoping for a clue of some sort, something that might stand out.

Unfortunately, there were multiple options and all of them had one sign or another that might be the right one. All of them made sense and none of them made sense which made Dio nervous. What if it was indeed all of the doors? He had not heard what Wyatt had heard on the other side, so he had no idea which doors on that side might be possibilities. He sighed in frustration and continued to cover the hallway with his bowcaster, he was at a loss and hoped Wyatt had an idea.

Wyatt motioned at the door he had heard the commotion from after seeing Dio indicate he wasn't able to garner any information from what he could hear in the other rooms. Either this whole floor was a safe house or they had some quiet neighbors, and Wyatt didn't like the either circumstance as it stood. But he would wait for Dio to stack on the other side of the door and once they were both in place Wyatt would produce a concussion grenade and push off the door jam, squaring himself with the mass and aiming to drive his boot where the door jam would be as there were simple handled doors.

With a heavy kick the unlocked door flew open, and Wyatt primed the grenade and held it for a heartbeat before lobbing it underhand into the short hallway he could now see within the apartment. It looked to open into a living room or maybe a dining room but that wasn't any information he could garner at the moment as he placed his back against the door jam again and waited for the concussion grenade to go off before the two would breach. Wyatt would follow Dio's lead and the two would attempt to get the men inside the room to surrender, and as intel reported there would be two in this room. But as for the other apartments on this floor, that was a different story entirely. @Critas

(OOC: 5 enemies total, 2 in this room remaining 3 are within the other apartments on this floor.)

Diocletian watched Wyatt as he motioned that he thought his one of his doors would be a good place to start clearing the floor. As Wyatt indicated, Dio stacked on the opposite side of the door from him and nodded his readiness. He saw Wyatt move to kick in the door jamb and just as his boot hit the door, Dio was moving. He slid into the hallway and stacked to one side as the concussion grenade that Wyatt tossed did its work in the living room area.

Coming around the corner and into the living area, Dio immediately saw two men recovering from the stun of the concussion grenade. Dio crossed the room to the one that looked the liveliest and savagely butt stroked him to the head with the butt of his bowcaster. Down went Frazier with his nose broken, that effectively taking the fight right out of him. Unfortunately, it had an opposite effect on his friend who drew a holdout blaster and raised it, aiming at Dio.

Having finished the suppression of one of the occupants, Dio turned to see the hold out blaster rising towards his direction. Quickly he dropped behind a leather couch that the first occupant had sprawled over after Dio rearranged his dental work. Dio grabbed a pillow that had flown over the couch from the concussion blast and tossed it randomly in the direction of the second occupant, hoping to foul his aim as best he could. He struck true and knocked the man’s aim away from him and Wyatt, giving Wyatt his opening to handle the still standing occupant.

Following his partners breach after the concussion grenade had gone off Wyatt pushed down the hallway and in the open living room area, Dio reacting quickly as always took care of the man in the far corner with a mean weapon bash. But it served to enrage and put the fight into the other man who wasn't as badly effected by the concussion grenade it seemed, taking aim at Dio with bleary vision he went to fire when Dio threw the nearest thing in the air to get his focus. A pillow entered the air giving Wyatt the opening to bull rush the assailant, tackling him at the waist and bringing him down like an unsuspecting huttball receiver who got caught watching the ball. But the move didn't come without consequence as they landed and struggled Wyatt's weapon was thrown from his grasp but he was able to recover and pin the mans arms to deliver a heavy Keldabe Kiss, knocking him unconscious as Wyatt began to stand.

Satisfied with the work for the moment, but then he heard the door open from across the hallway and with a flurry of fire and screaming as another of the seditionists came to the sound of the noise. Seemingly more prepared than those in the other rooms as he would be the first to respond to the raid with an attack of his own, firing down the corridor into the apartment. Making Wyatt dive for cover although the bolts weren't coming too terribly close to him he had no desire to take his chances in the open; turning the dining table being used for a repair station for simple items on its side and diving over it for cover. Reaching for his weapon and recovering it Wyatt fired twice over the side blindly at the end of the hallway closest to him due to the angle hoping to deter the attacker from continuing towards the duo. @Diocletian Solus | Dice

Diocletian watched Wyatt perform a flying take down of the man he had thrown the pillow at. He raised from cover behind the couch and watched Wyatt deliver text book Keldabe kiss to the man, minus the jet pack part. It was about that time that all hades broke loose in the hallway. Apparently the two in the room had friends and those friends were doing their best cavalry impressions, coming to their friend’s aid.

As shots rang out in the hallway and the sound of running feet made their way to Dio, he hugged the edge of the wall, waiting to see if anyone was dumb enough to rush the pair blindly. It was a move he might try but he hoped they would not. Wyatt effectively ended that hope as he started firing into the direction of the hallway, keeping their heads pinned down for now.

Reaching into his tool kit on his belt, Dio pulled out a small mirror and reached it around the corner to see what was firing at Wyatt. He did not like what he saw which two bad guys in the hallway was at least laying down fire at his partner. Putting the mirror away, he remembered the trajectory from him to his target and dropped to a low crouch. He turned the corner hard and fast, taking three shots at the man and then pulling back into cover.

Dio’s first two shots were wide and wild. He severely damaged the plaster of the wall above the shooters head and shoulders. Then with the third shot he zeroed in and put a blaster shot into the man’s shoulder. The man spun to the ground just as Dio turned back into cover. Dio knew that shooter was effectively out of the battle, but he could still hear urgent whispering in the hallway. He looked at Wyatt as if to ask what he wanted to do now. They had several options and Dio really wasn’t a large fan of any of them. They had basically trapped themselves in this room and need desperately to get out before a grenade made this place their tomb.

Wyatt was on his knees and peered around the side of the table as Dio took aim at one of the assailants in the hallway, missing two of his shots understandably with the pressure and hitting his mark on the third. Unsure if he'd killed the man or not due to the angle Wyatt was at behind the table, turning to slap cuffs on his unconscious friend he debated if now was the time in his own head for a moment and instead produced his HH-69 adhesive grenade from his bandoleer and as he spun himself back around to aim for the doorway.

He half stood with grenade in his left and blaster in his right, winding up for the throw but as he did one of the men turned the corner. It seems his moment of conflict of what to do next had caused him his opening, flopping back down as fast as he could he lost grip on his grenade, still untrimmed but now rolling towards Dio. A flurry of bolts splintered the wood of the table as the man wielding a repeater opened up on him, causing Wyatt to scream over the bolts to Dio "goorar hak goore ap yose di'kuts!" in his native tongue in frustration and mild panic, knowing it wouldn't make a difference seeing as these men also were mandalorians. Hopefully Dio would listen and trust Wyatt hadn't handed him a thermal detonator or an implosion grenade as the HH-69's carried a distinct look and if landed in the hallway would immobilize whoever was present almost instantly; filling the open space with a immobilizing foam like substance. @Critas

Diocletian watched Wyatt handcuff the unconscious man at their feet out of the corner of his eye. He was watching the edge of the door frame for movement from the hallway. He stood to get a better angle on anyone attempting to come through the doorway but was still not happy about their current situation.

Dio felt Wyatt rising to throw a grenade beside him and unfortunately was distracted just as a man using a repeater appeared in the doorway and started firing. Dio turned back on his shoulder into cover behind the corner of the wall. He saw as Wyatt tossed the uncooked grenade at his feet and shouted for him to throw it at the enemy. The volume of fire from the doorway was intense but Dio still attempted to reach down and grab the grenade. He was unable to grab the grenade, it had rolled too far out of cover and when he tried, he almost lost a hand.

Growling with frustration, Dio reached his Shriek-Hawk around the corner and fired three shots. He was not really aiming, just trying to get the bad guys to duck into cover. It worked and he was able to finally reach down and grab the grenade. He stood, pulled the pin and then cooked it for two heartbeats before tossing it around the corner at the doorway. He did not see the results from cover but heard the explosion of foam and materials as the grenade went off. It was probably best that he had not seen the result as the grenade went through the door and bounced into the main hallway, missing everything important entirely.

Hearing the grenade go off caused Wyatt to peak over the table to see a foam filled doorway across the hall and cursed audibly "Fierfek!" He shouted as he reached into his bandoleer and produced his last concussion grenade priming it and sending it into the main hallway as he moved to cuff the other unconcious assailant in the room. He hadn't stuck around in his position to be effected by what happened next as the people in the hallway shouted and scrambled from what he could hear before from over his shoulder he could feel the flash of heat as they'd managed to kick the grenade partially back in the room but not close enough to debilitate the duo.

Wyatt continued quickly cuffing the unconscious seditionist before looking to Dio and whispering to him "We can stay quiet and they might think they got us and come in, or we can hit them with a real grenade at this point... Two is good enough for me plus all the intel in here." Wyatt said now in a crouch with his weapon raised and ready to attack anyone who would come in the apartment.

Diocletian watched as Wyatt cooked and tossed a concussion grenade into the hallway. He really hoped this one worked as he was getting tired of being pinned down in the room. He kept his position of cover behind the wall and listened for the sound of the explosion. When the grenade exploded, he felt the heat of the explosion waft around the edge of the wall, telling him that the grenade had not exploded in the other room as he had hoped.

Following up on the explosion, he dropped into a low shooters stance and spun his Shriek-Hawk around the corner. As he had hoped two of the bad guys were recovering from tossing the grenade back towards the two Mandalorians and had broken cover. Dio sent three bolts at the duo, one struck the first in the chest and sent him sprawling, the other two took the second in the chest and head, dropping them both in one burst of shooting.

Dio immediately pulled back into cover and looked at Wyatt with a wide grin under his helmet. He raised his weapon to where it was pointed at, the ceiling and listened as an unearthly quiet fell over the makeshift battlefield. By Dio’s calculations there should be one more out there, but he was not letting his presence be known quite yet. Dio started to wonder if the third had run off, it certainly would not surprise him. He remained in cover however, he had not lived this long by taking chances on possibilities when it came to enemies. He looked down at Wyatt, "One more?"

"One more." Wyatt said under his helmet, lifting from the low stance he had been maintaining Wyatt wrapped around the corner and made his way to the end of the hall. With no sight of the man as Wyatt moved with weapon raised, he came around the corner to his right as he heard some commotion; seeing the man in question just starting to evacuate through the window. Dropping to a knee Wyatt put two rounds into him, one into each leg as the man had propped his repeater up against the wall in an attempt to navigate the small windowsill; the shots causing him to howl in pain and curse as he fell to the ground writhing and kicked his own weapon over.

Wyatt quickly moved stepping over the dead body in the hallway and over to the seditionist, producing a pair of cuffs from the pouch on his thigh and rolling the man over. "Resist and I'll make sure theres a burn hole in your head." Wyatt threatened with his foot on the mans back squarely in the middle, waiting a moment to see if the man would respond he only offered slightly less wiggling and that was enough for Wyatt. Letting his rifle hang from the sling as he grabbed one arm and then the other and cuffed him, moving next to pick up the repeater and move back into the room where Dio was.

"Well we have three of five it seems, i'll radio the extraction team to be prepped for exfil if you want to wake up sleeping beauty one and two. We can send in the analysts to decipher whatever was being planned up here." Wyatt finished setting the weapon down on the table as he picked it up and sat it flat in its normal fashion. He would then go back out and pick up the man he'd shot in each leg to be ready to escort him to the lift and down to the waiting team in the converted prison transport vehicle.

As the sounds of battle faded and the smoke started to clear, Diocletian watched as Wyatt started to gather their prisoners. Dio moved to the two sleeping prisoners and cuffed both of them before roughly waking them up and moving them to the room where Wyatt stood watch. Both of the previously unconscious men were extremely groggy and so very compliant when confronted with a fully armed and armored man gruffly telling them where to go. Dio moved quickly and efficiently to hustle their captives to the waiting area, he knew their time window was closing fast.

Moving quickly, Dio started on their secondary objective which was to secure the gear that the cell had just acquired. Dio moved through the combined apartments and discovered three sets of Ranger Scout Armor as well as five Vorastikus Blaster Rifles, eight ZA-13 Blaster pistols and eight grenades. The grenades were an assortment, three HH-69s, two concussion grenades and three fragmentation grenades.

Grabbing all of the gear, Dio shoved it into several large duffle style bags that he found in a closet. It took several minutes but he knew Wyatt had the prisoners covered and they needed the gear. After the gear was loaded, Dio hefted the three large bags and nodded to Wyatt that he was ready to get out of this place. “Lets get out of here before another cell hears the commotion and comes to investigate, or worse, the law enforcement authorities.” With that he moved towards the doors to the elevator and hit the button. Watching the lights on the panel above the lift, he saw the number slowly start to rise towards their floor.

As Dio collected the gear from the cell Wyatt searched the prisoners for any holdout weapons and produced a few blades and small blasters quickly adding them to the mix. Moving to call the lift once Dio was ready with the equipment he ushered the prisoners in and the group descended to the foyer on the first floor. Heading out to the alleyway where the vehicle was waiting the two Mandalorians who’s job it’d been to cover the area we’re waiting and opened the back of the vehicle as the group approached.

Loading in prisoners who were hooded once in the rear of the vehicle and the weapon duffles the other two Mandalorians in the strike team opened the holocommunicator and called for the analysts and cleanup team. The truck began to pull off afterwards and would return to Keldabe where the prisoners would be dealt with by the provisional government. Consisting of the houses that ruled in the interim without a mandalore, the ride would be a while and Wyatt simply kept an eye on the hooded and cuffed prisoners.
