Wedge sat on his own his feet up on the table in the shadows of a corner, his helmet facing outward as a sign of who he was. A Mandalorian who had forsaken Mandalore. A bounty hunter with a calculating mind and a taste for obscene amounts of credits. A cool strong drink stood next to his boot, barely touched. Work had been slow the past few months.

EDIT: This thread is now ask/invite. Wedge has been hired.

A small beep came from Wedge's drink. He eyed it, not moving. Another small sound sprang up, followed by a faint blue glow. It seems his waitress had used a datapad as a mat. He leaned forward and picked up the drink, taking a swig whilst covertly sliding the pad toward him.

His eyes beheld a message, asking him to travel to Mos Eisley, Tatooine where he would be payed250 credits upon arrival and given information about a significant job that needed doing which would pay even higher.

He gulped down the rest of his drink before placing his helmet onto his head and stalking out into the bustling street. He shouldered past anyone in his way, bee lining for his ship in the docking stations.

250 credits simply for a leisure trip to Tatooine... this should be good.

After an hour of walking and various turbo lifts he stepped into his ship.

"R4! Set a course for Tatooine." He fell back into the cock pit. Time to earn some pay.

The ship shot out of the atmosphere and entered hyperspace. The clanking of the three HK droids patrolling the corridors of the Lion Tamer were reassuring as he put his feat up.

Tarko cursed silently with his lekku. He'd hoped to avoid making noise on board this rust-bucket, but a stray piece had caught his foot. Still, the droids were making as much noise as he was, so hopefully the owner wouldn't notice him.

He'd climbed aboard the ship about an hour ago, after leaving the datapad under that human's drink. 250 credits would cut deep into his funds, but getting to Tatooine for that kill... Well, the anonymity should be worth the cost.

Something didn't feel quite right. Wedge knew every bit of his ship, he'd practically built it. It was a fine vessel, manned by a fine droid crew. He was so used to hearing those partol routes, each step the droids took was in a well ordered pattern from years of the same and same again.

Thats why the unexpected noise grated so much.

Drawing one of his Deathhammers and making sure his helmet was on correctly he crept out of the cockpit, motioning for R4 to watch the controls. He clicked a button on the wall, alerting the droids to what he suspected may just be a rat. Better safe than sorry though. They stopped their patrols, emitting no further sound.

Tarko tensed, gently pushing himself further into the shadows of the alcove he was hiding in. Droids generally did not stop for no reason, so the big guy must have noticed something. He fingered his Q2 gently, hoping it wouldn't come to open combat.

Last thing he needed was to annoy someone else.

Stopping a little ways outside of the cock pit, the Madalorian tensed.

"R4! Scan for life forms on board other than me."

The astromech's static voice signalled he would begin scanning. Wedge took cover in the corridor that lead to the main part of his ship. He drew his second Deathhammer.

Tarko swore, and darted out of the alcove, diving deeper into the bowels of the ship. Hopefully, he could find somewhere with enough interference to mask him. Otherwise... Well, those HK droids weren't going to help his problems in the slightest.

Hearing the cursing, Wedge ran toward the sound, keeping low in order to prevent any sort of pot shot at him.

He spoke into the communicator in his armour's helmet. "R4. We have a stow away on board. Drop out of hyperspace a few parsecs from Tatooine and shut down all systems that would interfere with the capture of this person."

He slowed to a walk, keeping both blasters in his hands and ready.

Tarko drew his KYD-21, arming each both his guns. He let off a shot in a random direction, before diving another way. Big guys tend to be dumb, so that should work. He slung himself beneath a floor panel, crawling into the darkness, his fingers drumming along the handles of his weapons.

Wedge heard a shot in a distant part of the ship. Years of battlefield wisdom, earned the hard way, told him two things. His prey was smart, trying to use deception to throw him off the trail. His prey was also inexperienced. Now dropping from hyperspace, the ship was in the middle of no where. Wedge ordered controls locked down until he personally gave the order for R4 to relinquish controls. The results of the scan came back, showing exactly where the "rat" was hiding. Under a floor panel. Putting away one of his blaster Wedge crept as silently as possible, avoiding all creaky panels, toward that floor panel.

His intention was to rip the panel up, surprising the stow away and shoot his legs with a low powered blaster shot. It wouldn't cause any lasting damage but it would burn like lava.

Tarko crawled as far as he could into the recesses of the hole. It suddenly struck him how badly positioned he was. Well, considering his opponents size, things were either in the palm of Tarko's hand or in that of his opponent. Gripping his guns tightly he readied himself for whatever his opponent had in store for him.

Speaking cooly into his communicator yet again, Wedge ordered his HK's to cut off the stow away's escape while he came up behind, quicker, ripping up a floor panel and shooting where a humanoid's legs should be.

Tarko scrambled his legs away from the blast, aiming his guns upwards. Quickly, he realised he was outnumbered, alternately aiming his weapons at each of the four targets.

"Well... ain't this a predicament."

He held his guns loosely, before holstering them away.

"Guess you caught me."

"No guess about it scum." Wedge reached down, grabbing the Twi'lek by the throat and pulling him out of the hole. He held him against the wall. "If you want to live: start talking. And make it quick."

Tarko's hand instinctively shot to his throat, trying to pry away the human's hand.

"Easy there, big guy. There's no need to get violent. I was just borrowing some space in your boat."

He kept his other hand held firmly agaisnt the wall, trying not to give off any signs of aggression.

"I'm just trying to get somewhere, and figured someone like you wouldn't mind too much. Figured I'd just stay out of your way. Not disturbing you or making a hassle. Seem fair?"

Wedge tightened his grip on the Twi'lek's throat, shoving the barrel of the Deathhammer into his gut.

"You snuck aboard my ship. You really thought I wouldn't mind tail-head?"

"If you didn't notice me then you wouldn't mind."

He drummed his fingers against the wall, assessing the situation. It was pretty bad, to say the least. He couldn't keep cool forever, and that hand was really starting to hurt...

"I suppose you do mind, then? Well, you're stuck with me now. Best to start getting along."

Wedge released the Twi'lek, though kept a steady aim on him. The droids did the same.

"R4, resume hyperspace travel to Tatooine. As for you, tail-head, I'm letting you live."

He chuckled.

"You Twi'leks always fetch a nice price, and there are plenty of slavers on Tatooine. Hutts and Gamorians alike."

"Well, I'm no dancer, but I guess I am worth something..."

Tarko stood up, straightening his clothes. He smiled, crossing his arms.

"Although, then you'd never get those 250 credits you were promised... or a share of my bounty."

Wedge's chuckling quieted. This Twi'lek was his employer? Then why the hell was he on his ship and not Tatooine.

"Explain. Now. Or I'll just search your corpse."
