Crix gestured with his head for Edaara to follow him back to the ship - the Sullustian might have asked for their help and Crix really wanted to avoid showing Jedi in the Nomad City. Far better if they solved their problem themselves as far as the rest of the Galaxy was concerned. If the Jedi were known supporters then they were likely to be targeted at one point or another. But the leadership knew that the Jedi had been involved.
And they wouldn't forget.
"If the kids aren't with us by midnight?" he frowned ever so slightly, "Then we'll be back."
It was a promise and it was a threat... and it was one that he didn't need to make good on. Instead the children were delivered swiftly to the ship as Crix and Edaara waited, checking over them when it was revealed they'd been lightly stunned to avoid them seeing their father taken down.
Instead they'd see him get his trial for corruption on a massive scale from the safety of a nearby planet. As he sat in the cargo hold, his crew starting up the ship, Crix eyed Edaara with a smile.
"Looks like we did it. Nomad City is free again and the kids get to live to grow old away from the shadow of their father's legacy... I'd call that a win."
