Jaikus didn’t allow himself to relax until they were safely out of the facility - exiting through the very same grate that had initially been used to access the ventilation system. With motion sensors disabled and Mars’ dataplague uploaded, their escape-route was entirely uncontested. Only then did Jaikus dust himself off - gliding his hands across the armorweave surface of his armor.
“Likewise,” He said back towards Mars, a clear bit of amusement lacing his words - audible even through the modulation of his voice. “Perhaps we’ll have an opportunity to do so in the near future. I suspect our employer will want to replicate our success, here.” Which, really, wasn’t a lie. If Jaikus could destroy his competition and acquire what remained of their assets, he would. “Confirmation will be send, and I expect we’ll both be gettin’ paid shortly.”
With that, Jaikus promptly turned on a heel, starting to make his way down a different alley and further into the city once again. There was no reason for him and Mars to move together at this point, and was likely better they went their separate ways to avoid drawing any suspicion. “See you around.”
