Zar's ship had landed, on the cold near freezing swampy mess of a planet, almost an hour ago. Yet Zar was still trudging through the frigid wastes, his armor performing well at keeping out the cold, to the meet up coordinates his partner(@Jacob Flores) for today's mission.

Zar checked his P-30 Anti-Personnel Rifle slung around his back to make sure it was still there. Carrying his KPWD-Warden's Blaster Zar kept walking through the forsaken swamp as he fought off dead tree limbs and branches that continued to poke at him as he walked.

Finally arriving at the spot an estimated one and a half miles from their target, Sar sat down on a large boulder and began scanning the area. Not much sign of life on this planet outside it's cities. He thought.

As he sat, another hour passed, he had begun to riffle though his things, eventually he began to inspect his old family heirloom, an old, but functional, Clanhunter Blaster Pistol. His rifle laid in his lap and he took aim at a nearby tree, squeezing the trigger, then making a,"Pew Pew.." He whispered.. The pistol's energy pack still in his other hand.

Nomad’s ship started the landing sequence, giving him enough time to get up, pack his gear, and check his weapons. He brought with him his MP-FRAB Mk.22 blaster rifle and his Type-15s Silenced Carbine. Once the ship’s landing gear touched down, he placed his helmet on. He lowered the boarding ramp and walked about, scanning for any life nearby. He was still a while away from the rendezvous point but it was still safe to check. He clicked both weapons off of safety and gave each one a test. He shot at a barren tree leaving behind a blast mark and a black hole. After, he locked his ship and started the long trek onward. The other gear he brought with him was his Jump Boost attachment for his shoes.

Armour:
CCT MK. II Mandalorian armor:
tumblr_mk8rm9Ybq11s975v9o1_500.jpg

These functions are standard on the armor and are placed here for my convenience.

Functions
Function 1: Standard Jetpack

The jetpack on the CCT MK. II is a high-grade maneuverability device that is capable of top speeds of nearly seventy-five (75) kilometers per hour in its flight-mode. It can maintain these speeds for around ten minutes of continuous flight. In combat-mode, the jetpack allows for short bursts letting the wearer move approximately 10 meters in just a few seconds. This makes it useful to scale short buildings, span gaps and crevasses, and gives the user enhanced mobility in combat. Due to the high speeds of flight-mode, it cannot be used in combat. The jetpack on the MK II is incapable of using a mounted rocket weapon due to its more compact size compared to the Z-4.

Function 2: Wrist Weapon Hardpoint
The left or right wrist (depending on the Mandalorian) has been fitted with a hardpoint that allows for the attachment of various weaponry. Given the pragmatic nature of most Mandalorians, the designers of the CCT MK II have created modular wrist options for the hard point. These options can range from a wrist mounted flamethrower with two (2) internal gel capsules, one wrist mounted rocket launcher with two (2) missiles, or a microfilament net launcher capable of being shot up to 15 meters and rated to capture a creature up to a Wookiee in size(Left Wrist).

Function 3: Integrated Heads-Up Display
The integrated HUD of the CCT MK II is slightly more advanced than its original counterpart. It is capable of giving temperature and environmental readouts, has an internal compass, and can provide armor integrity feedback as well as an 8x rangefinder. The gauntlet weapons can also be controlled via the HUD, but only through command words. Blinking patterns are above the limits of the CCT MK II.

Function 4: Wild-Card Function
The fourth function of the CCT MK II has been left to the decision of the wearer. Options include a second wrist hard point, specially designed boots with magnetic soles, or a retractable wrist blade. one wrist mounted rocket launcher with two (2) missiles(Right Wrist).

Other Gear:
1X Pair Auditory Frequency Modulator(Buds)
3X Thermal Detonators.
1X SCKO Grenades.
1X C-03 Caltrop Grenades.[/fancybox2][/border3]
Sitting atop the boulder Zar sighed, his partner was taking a while, although Zar had arrived early, he had expected his partner to do the same. Ad he wasn't sure who he'd be working with, Zar grew impatient and began pumping a few holes into the local flora around him.

The trek was long and boring. As Nomad walked, he would shoot at trees, shrubbery, or any leftover rubble along his path. He didn't mind spending his rounds because he brought 4 extra power cells with him, attached to his utility belt. Along with the extra power cells, there were 3 extra silenced carbine magazines, 2 thermal detonators, and various little compartments for smaller items and loose parts on the belt. He wished that he had parked his ship a bit closer but doing so could be dangerous. Even though it was freezing out, a little sweat trickled down Nomad's forehead because of the constant trudging through the mud. What an awful planet he thought as he thought so every other time he's been to the planet. One and a half miles later, Nomad finally received another life form through his HUD. Not knowing whether it was his partner or not, he asked

"What house?" Referring to the Mandalorian house they were a part of. He said this while reaching for his blaster rifle.

Zar had seen the man walk up, he was wearing Vizla armor. Great... Zar thought.

"What house?" The man asked.

Zar mockingly gestured to his own armor,"The best one.." he replied sarcastically,"Skirata.." Zar hasn't raised his blaster at the newcomer, instead he holstered his pistol, and picked up his rifle by the barrel, indicating he was not planning to fight the man.

Without the helmets they might have realized they had once worked together in the field before.

"We have a lot to do.. So... if you'd like to out your blaster down we can begin.." Zar said impatiently.

Jaycob’s memory started to run again. He’s began to realize that he’s already worked with this man before but there was something off different about him. Time does wonders I guess he thought.

Right...Skirata.” Jaycob chuckled. He immediately holstered his rifle and relaxed a bit. “Hehe how are you my friend? Good to see you. You know I’m forgetful.” Even though this was a reunification with an old pal, they were still on the clock. Jaycob thought it best to keep the (re)introduction short and get on with business. It was time to get the ball rolling.

"...How are you my friend? Good to see you..." the man's word cleared the memory fog Zar had been in, and the man's name came to mind,"Ah, Jaycob, it's good to see you too brother." Zar said offering him the traditional Mandalorian handshake.

"Now then, the Intel department, as reliable as they are.." Zar said with an eye roll one could see through a helmet,"Suggest a little less than a hundred hostile inhabiting the base, two of us.. nearly a hundred of them; sounds like they're outnumbered, plus I've brought you..." Zar's cockiness coming out full swing.

Jaycob smirked at his partner’s remark. It wasn’t the first time either of them went up against an army. Jaycob pulled out a datapad and pulled up a map of the planet. He wasn’t sure exactly where the mission was taking place so he asked

Where are these guys? They’re probably one of the more trained enemies we’ve come across so I advise we approach things quietly until we’re compromised.” He pulled out his silenced carbine and started tapping at the suppressor attached to the barrel.

I’m also pretty sure we have to gather some info on this Santhe Corporation as well.” Jaycob just clarifying the mission so both were on the same page.

Where are these guys? They’re probably one of the more trained enemies we’ve come across so I advise we approach things quietly until we’re compromised.” Jaycob said.

"They have an operational base roughly one mile North of here.." Zar said as be pointed that direction and opened an overhead map of the base and the surrounding land,"Security isn't the best, they have droids dedicated to security, but no cameras or external countermeasures." Zar went on, this was probably the first assignment he'd been given where he actually read the full dossier,"An estimated one-hundred hostile, expected to all be arms with medium or shorter range armaments." Zar began walking while he was pointing to various possible points of entry of the property.

I’m also pretty sure we have to gather some info on this Santhe Corporation as well.

"If we have time, you can seduce one into spilling the beans on those jerks.." Zar said, in an effort to lighten the mood before the two would be plunged into the thick of the ensuing chaos that would be the prejudice elimination of the Diamond Teeth gang members.

Jaycob was not too surprised at the enemy's numbers.

"Shall we get going then?" He said as he put away his datapad and walking towards the base. Jaycob figured they would make up a reasonable plan on the way to the base. He checked his silenced carbine one more time and proceeded to advance. Unfortunately, Jaycob did not equip EMP grenades, which would've worked perfectly for the security droids. However, the lack of cameras and movement sensors did calm him down. If the base was being patrolled by these droids, the silenced carbine wouldn't do a thing to their metal bodies. The weapon was mainly created for critically injuring human targets. His secondary rifle would be able to do the trick but it'd give away their position if they were to apporach the base stealthily. Looks like Jaycob had to come up with a plan to account for this.

"Since this slugthrower can't penetrate the droids' armor, I propose that we find a way to first deactivate the droids and then go after the Diamond Teeth mercenaries. What do you think?"

Zar holstered his blaster and took out his Long vibro-sword,"Deactivate, right." He said with a small laugh.

The pair approached the base, as it came into view flurries of snowfall began to fall from the skies, the thick heavy clouds casting dark, opaque shadows on the surface of the planet. The weather conditions, though extremely cold, would be beneficial to the pair as they attempted to penetrate the base.

Crouching behind a large boulder, Zar pointed to ground floor entrance and said,"We can get in through there, supposedly it leads to a warehouse area of the compound, so hopefully cover won't be hard to come by."

Zar took out a cloth and wiped down his now snow covered blade before waiting on his partners decision concerning Zar's suggestion.

Jaycob gave a concerning look to his partner, confused with his sarcastic tone. He decided to just shrug it off and continue on. Zar had suggested approaching the ground entrance leading to the warehouse where cargo crates will certainly come in handy. Jaycob nodded and said

"Alright I guess we'll go through the warehouse. However, once we're inside, this snowstorm won't cover us anymore and we'll have to rely on our own ability to stay hidden. If you want to take advantage of this 'beautiful' weather, I suggest we approach from the landing pads." Now, the landing pads lack in cover, leaving them open to attack. However, the snowfall would provide excellent blanket to cover their movements. If they approached through the warehouse, they'll be able to take cover from any attacks but will have to rely on sneaking around by themselves. Whichever decision Zar made, Jaycob was totally fine with. Jaycob was not the best at creeping around but if things went south, like they always do, he'll be able fight back.

Landing pads will lead to a more direct assault.. Zar thought,"Lets hit the landing pads." He said finally.

Zar scoped out the most direct route to the landing pads from their current location. Lots of naturally occurring cover was present as well as the snow fall which was starting to pick up a bit. Zar stayed low, and kept his sword out, as he made his way slowly towards their destination.

Once they reached the landing pads Zar sat behind a large rock nearly four meters from the pads, there was a single guard light armor. His constant shivering indicitive of his freezing status.

Zar signaled to his partner,"One hostile." He whispered.

Jaycob raised his carbine and fired a shot at the target's head. He slumped over leaving a red stain on the furry white floor.

"Not anymore" Jaycob replied. He moved from one rock to the next, carefully scanning the area for any hostiles that might be lurking around. Jaycob smirked as he moved. These guys aren't as tough as I thought. Jaycob inched forward more and more, passing numerous ships as he went. Not a surprise as they were up against a small army. Even though the Diamond Teeth mercs were an easy task, the security droids were still a problem. Jaycob spotted 5-7 of them roaming about the entrance, scanning the perimeter. If they were going to infiltrate that base, they'll have to get through them first.

"How about these clankers?" Jaycob pointed out to his comrade.

After Jaycob sprayed the red mist from the enemy's head, and almost as if he had read Jaycob's mind, Zar sprung forward, as if being pulled by an unseen force and lobbed his sword into the nearest metal man standing below them. A half moment later Zar landed on the machine and pulled his electrically crackling sword from the droid's carapace, and swung it in an overhead circle at the adjacent security bit, severing it's 'head' from it's torso. As the last bits of power sparked from the now frayed wires sticking from it's upper body, Zar kicked it forward sending it crashing into the third droid in that immediate area.

Though only a couple of seconds had passed since Zar had first flung his sword, the droid had already began to lift it's built in blaster as it's twin crashed into it. The two droids now in a heap on the ground, the operational one still moving beneath the broken one, Zar plunged his sword through both of them as he simultaneously used his right foot to crush the 'head' of the one droid still moving.

Once finished, like a wraith in the shadows, Zar disappeared behind a large rock only a handful of meters away from the entrance.

Scanning the entrance, Jaycob could see no other threats in sight. With caution, he moved from his cover to the entrance. The base was secured by a blast door that needed a valid identification cylinder to open.

This isn’t going to be fun.” He whispered under his breath. He stepped back and turned around. He walked over to his partner to reveal the news.

The door’s not opening unless we find an ID cylinder. The guys we killed might have one on them but their bodies are covered in snow and I cannot find them.

Jaycob started rummaging through the snow trying to find the corpses but the snowfall was so rapid, a new layer covered whatever he was digging at.

Zar sighed loudly with disdain,"These idiots.." he said referencing the door as he too dove into the snow in the area of the landing pads hoping to find the body. After a long while. And far after Zar had lost his patience, the pair of Mandalorians wiped snow from opposite sides of the dead man.

"Finally.." Zar grumbled angirly, as he landed a hard fist on the man's neck, as if his being dead wasn't enough,"Lets get out of the cold."

Jaycob took the ID cylinder and activated the panel. The blast doors opened to reveal a long dimly-lit corridor ending in a split, right or left. There were no signs indicating which direction held what, but luckily, the two had the blueprints of the entire base. To the right, was the barracks, mess hall and engineering bay. To the left, was the armory, training simulations, and archives. Jaycob turned to his partner and said,

"Right or left, your choice. Left would likely be ideal because it would be less populated and all the important documents are there." Right as Jaycob finished his sentence, a pair of voices echoed down the corridor. Jaycob's instinct was to hug a wall and aim his weapon down the corridor, getting ready to shoot anyone coming their way.

Zar's only silenced weapons were his swords. And seeing as how they hadn't been discovered yet, were really the only weapons he should employ at this moment.

Up against the wall beside Jaycob, Zar readied his sword, prepared to swing full force at the first unfortunate man to cross the threshold into the hallway where they stood.

Just as Zar believed it would happen, the two men, who were loudly talking about some pod races they'd been to, walked past the edge of the wall where Zar then Jaycob stood. Instantly Zar's sword swung low, actually severing the man's left leg. As he fell to the ground, Zar stepped past him and landed a heavy gauntleted left fist into the cheek of the second man.

Down the hallway roughly six meters a man's voice called out,"Hey!"

The now one legged man laid crippled and silent from shock, clutching the stump where his leg now ended. Zar saw the third man down the hallway was scrambling to draw his blaster, and grabbed the second by the neck and pulled him back to where Zar had originally stood, continuing to land heavy blows to the dazed and nearly unconscious man's head.

"Left one for ya, he's got a blaster.." Zar said, very calmly.

Taking his queue, Jaycob forced two silent shots into the enemy’s skull. For a base, the place wasn’t heavily guarded. Jaycob rushed to the corpse and pulled it back towards the door to avoid anyone coming from the hallway to seeing the body. Unfortunately, the dragging left a bright crimson trail leading right to them. With that, Jaycob knew it was time to go. Whether with the support of his partner or not, he headed for the left hallway. He opened the sliding door at the end to reveal the armory. Inside were numerous variants of weapons, explosives, and armor. Along with all of the weapons were 4 enemies. The regular infantry, nothing the two couldn't handle. Luckily, they didn't shift their attention to the door and were too focused on polishing their weapons.

"From the looks of it, this squad just came back from patrol. Let's give them a warm welcome."
