So what? its fun. if someone was to tell me fighting Sabre would be stupid, I would still do it (in fact I am doing it as we speak.) Prove the Staff, or whoever said you can't win. Show that you are better in the duel, and their opinions will change. also, the judge can step in and be on your side, if you rewally do show your better.

I will fight him once an admin ruling comes down. I'm not refusing to fight him, and I just joined this thread because I agree with what Cyril was saying.

I think the oldest characters are always the most powerful whether they have really well writing skills or not(even though all the oldest characters do have good storytelling abilities). I mean, throughout every timeline the oldest "veterns" have been the Jedi Masters, the Sith Lords, the Mandalores....

But I do agree that I'm tired of new characters thinking theyre stronger than they are. A jedi knight can barely take a regular mandalorian solider, yet here they can take on 50 without a scratch? Get real...

Writing skills has basically EVERYTHING to do with RPing dude.

And I've seen quite a few people get smoked by Sin, Sabre, Myself, Bac, etc with characters who were supposed to be at the same level strength-wise, not because the staff are bias, blah blah, but because they're just plain better than the other guy. It's your own damn fault if you lose a duel, don't bitch to people about it, LEARN from it.

I would like to ask the Admins to appoint me judge for these battles, so that there is no biased opinions in duels. I will judge fairly based on the context in the duel, and involve nothing from outside the duel.

Scurge, I hate to use you as an example, but I'm going to from a time which you really sucked, which you don't anymore by the way. In the thread "Coruscant's Recent Transportation", he thought that as a Sith Apprentice he would be able to handle taking me, a Bendu High Priest, on in a fight.

Why not appoint several judges, each from differant walks of RP so that there really is no unbiased dueling? I can be a battle judge, I know how to fight, I have several sourcebooks, I know how to apply combat in the Star Wars universe.
