Zathria pressed onward, her own tendencies in combat were not to be this aggressive, but there weren't a lot of options at the moment, so she acted as she had to.

Felix got a grip on the staff in the Force, holding the creature in place as Zathria moved quickly, darting in, saber up in a defensive position, and closing in on it.

It tried to whirl back again, but its grip on the staff held it in place, and Zathria's blade swept in, cleaving through one of its legs before arcing back up and chopping through its neck as well. The pieces fell into a heap, and she let out a sigh of relief as the adrenaline finished its course.

Nice work, she said, slowing her breathing and deactivating her lightsaber to replace it on her belt.

She finally got a chance to look around again, looking at the various artifacts and records kept here.

Wow, this is incredible, she commented again. You do this all the time? she asked in surprise. While she wasn't sure it was something she'd want to do day in and day out - she wasn't patient enough for that - it was inarguably an amazing moment.

He smiled as Zathria cleaved the droid in twain with her lightsaber, they didn't make a half-bad team it seemed.

with the droid out of commission, he turned his attention to the room around him, shelves full of relics. "that it is, not all the time, actually it's been a while since I've done this, but discovering something like an untouched vault? I'd say it's been a long time since a room this full of relics has been found"

His eyes scanned around the room searching for anything he recognised until something caught his eye, approaching the shelf he spotted it, he picked up the palm-sized circular device open its lid to reveal it was engraved on the inside with astromeridian etch lines, while the innards of the compass were stylized with a graduated bezel. "Wow." he spoke to himself as he stared into the lodestone at its centre.

Zathria walked over to look at the item he found as he picked it up, leaning over to examen it more closely. A compass? For what? she asked curiously. She couldn't really help herself. If there was a question to ask, she was going to ask it. It was in her nature even if no one knew the answer. Maybe it was his destiny to find that answer.

She kept looking through the items there before her hands ran across a small necklace that seemed to call to her. She took it and picked it up, looking at it and as she tapped it, she could feel the Force twist and alter around it. She could tell, just by the sensation what it did. It was an amulet of defense and protection.

I wonder if I can keep it, she said, putting it around her neck and letting it hang down onto her chest. I bet the Council will approve. After all, what else is it going to do? Sit in the archives? she said. If there was ever a time for it to reemerge it was now during a war with the Sith.

I need to catalogue the rest of this and have a dig team come take it all out, she said. Thanks for helping me with this. I'm not sure the fight with the guardian would have gone so well without you, she said, smiling warmly.

"I don't know but intend to find out" he replied to her question about the star compass. star compass was an ancient piece of technology developed by the jedi that fell out of use, it could lead anywhere, and that prospect was one that excited him the most. he slid it into a pocket of his cloak as he saw Zathria pick something from a shelf.

"I don't think they'll mind, we've just given them a lot of artefacts to study and catalogue they won't miss it" he smiled and gave her a slight nod at her thank you "it was my pleasure and thank you for allowing me to join, I hope we'll see each other again but until then, may force be with you" he gave her a little a bow as he left her his hand in his pocket grasping the star compass.
