Death Troopers RP Sign-UP

As promised (though its a little late), here is the sign up sheet for the Death Troopers RP. This sign up will be Open for the rest of today until noon Central Time tomorrow, at which point I will start up the RP. The official plot will be written in the actual RP thread, but just to go over the gist of it, here's what is planned below:

"A Sith Lord/Master (maybe someone will sign theirs up? If not we'll work something out with the Empire so that we can get us one) has engineered the recreation of the ancient Sith virus, "The Sickness", known as "Project Blackwing" during its last incarnation, in the hopes of gaining immortality. He does this all from an Imperial high security prison on the dark side infested world of Dathomir. However, his hopes for immortality is dashed when the virus mutates and begins spreading through the prison like a plague, turning the prisoners into an army of undead. Now, a ragtag group of survivors, formed from former prisoners and even Imperial operatives working within the prison, must fight their way through the prison and find a means of escape.

"And what has become of the Lord who engineered the virus...?"

To sign up, you need the following:

Character Name:
Link to Profile:
Occupation in the Story: (e.g., is your character a prisoner? Someone who was captured prior to the RP? Or are they Imperial survivors who worked in the prison, or were simply visiting it?)

Any one of any faction can join this, but it would have to make sense as to how your character came to the prison. If you sign your character up as a prisoner, they will be able to leave with their freedom. You know. Assuming they're not turned into a ravenously hungry member of the undead... or... something...

:CSly

Also, there will be a cap off point for members, as I find that the bigger an RP is, the quicker it seems to die. I don't know what that cap off point will be yet, but we'll see.

Cheers!

Hmm...This is quite the interesting little thing you have here...

Unless my opinions on this change,

Character Name: Tsisaar Taral
Link: In sig
Occupation in the Story: Visitor to the prison, now looking to get out like the rest. He's decided studying these monsters isn't worth it and he just wants to get out now.

Sith Lord working with other sith lord that's commanding the project.

I would recommend moving it to a space station. We wouldn't want it on a planet where it could easily spread or hide.

Note my interest does not reflect Imperium's view on this event. Please contact Rom (for both event and NPC Sith Lord).

We may move it to a space-station. I'll see what we can do about it. Like I said, its just an outline. I am currently talking with Rom (through PMs) about the Sith Lord running the project.

That said, welcome aboard!

I would say so. We've got plenty of Sith by this point. I'd like to see a regular Imperial or two and then some prisoners.

I could probably offer up a non-Sith, although he isn't created yet (which means the RP might have to hold up for a few days). If you don't want to wait, I got a Sith acolyte who might be there or otherwise a bounty hunter who might end up a prisoner. The problem with the latter though is that I don't know whether or not he's gonna end up in a Sith prison or not.

Well here's a possible one:

Character Name: Srota Ron
Link to Profile: http://www.thestarwarsrp.com/forum/showthread.php?50449-Srota-Ron
Occupation in the Story: Prisoner ( I am even thinking of a way for him to have been caught in a different RP, just because I had one planned already and I don't know what the policy is on being in multiple RPs at the same time.)

Added you! Welcome!

Also, if I remember correctly, being apart of two RPs at the same time isn't a big deal, but you may want to talk to Brandon about that for clarification, just in case.

Ok sounds good, I figured I could just postdate one of them, since it can take months to RP out a single day, and I figured I could make the previous one as a prequel to this, explaining why he was captured and imprisoned.

I think the reason there is a abundance of Sith characters in this thread is the setting. I had thought of throwing in my rebel or Jedi character at first but only way to do that would be somehow fit in being a prisoner at a high security Imperial Prison into his story, and that wouldn't work. But wait, has the setting been changed to something else, the space station idea that Weiss proposed, then this could actually be a setting more open for other faction members to join in.

Yes, it will likely be on a Space Station instead. Probably orbiting Dathomir, but I'm up to suggestions on any location.

I wouldn't recommend Dathomir. If this is to be mainly secretive project, then having it by a planet filled with trained Force users may not be the best idea.

Will it still be a prison? If so, I am sure some other reason for my character's being there may be in order as well, and might allow him a bit more freedom to survive.

Might I suggest a space station somewhere where Imperial control is a little lax. A Sith Lord, or Geist Weiss, brings the disease to the space station and releases it as an experiment, to see how well it spreads and how easily it can be controlled. Or better yet, if you want to keep the prison setup, imagine the experiments were going on aboard a prison barge. Something goes wrong, the virus spreads out all over the vessel and then it docks onto the space station and starts spreading there. There is where we pick up the story, so almost anyone can be there at the space station, rebels, indies, hutts, sith. And people have much more freedom with setting up how their characters got there.
