OOC HERE

Looking from the outside in, the Skygrasper looked well. Looking from the inside out was a different matter. The bulkheads were painted red by the blood of Imperial soldiers. Alarms rang off in a hundred different directions for a thousand different reasons. Casualties were strewn about in every direction. At first, it was assumed that the wreckage of the first Death Star had caused disturbances, but alas, twas not to be. Lockdown procedures took effect almost immediately. The protective action was supposed to keep the crew safe, but it only worsened the slaughter. It gave the killer, a butcher of men, easy access to cornered crew members. Sensors were down, external and internal, so the enemy was unknown. The bridge had no idea what they were facing. It could be any number of hostile soldiers causing the massacre, as it was unthinkable that a lone butcher could cause such a ruckus. Blaster fire echoed down hallways, some groups simply spraying at their imagination. Whole platoons of soldiers we unaccounted for. Chaos had ensued.

Acolyte Skarpsvärd stood on the bridge with the majority of the known survivors, including the only other Acolyte onboard the Skygrasper. She listened to the vox-comms from various squads of soldiers sent to gather intelligence on the enemy and destroy it.

*static*…three more casualties over here, over. *static*

*static* Bring the medkit over….. raise his legs a bit... open fire! *static*

*static* Hunter Three, this is Hunter Seven. How does the corridor bravo two look, over? *static*

*static* …it’s all over me…oh Go….it’s… over me… et it off….. *static*

Set the mood, damn you...

"Bring the medkit over..." Vic asked Holly as he was looking for some creative inspiration as to how to creatively kill the trooper. "Okay, now raise his leg a bit..." He pulled a bonesaw out of the medkit and began biting the teeth of it into the exposed area of the trooper between the genitalia and rectum, as it was the most densely packed nerve-cluster on the whole body. The trooper let out a long cry of pain before passing out. "Why is it that they never stay awake?" Vic asked, disappointed. He used his bloodied hands to push himself to his feet. He proceeded to walk over to the other troopers he had bound and lined up against the nearby wall. He grabbed one of the troopers and began hauling him over by his uniform, all the while he was releasing muffled scream from behind the cloth in his mouth. "Don't worry, this will only hurt for the rest of your life..." As if the trooper had much left.

The bridge was really quite obtrusively loud to Zachary. The hustling and bustling of the crew and officers' feeble attempts to combat the invaders, whoever they were, was all quite annoying to him, really, but he made sure not to show it. His face was thoughtful as it looked into the main bridge view port, his different colored eyes shining if you looked at the right angle.

At first he had no idea who the attackers were, because who would be stupid enough to take on a fully staffed Imperial starship. His first guess was pirates, but that idea was quickly erased when they got past the hangar bay. Next he though it could've been Rebels and their Jedi friends trying to capture this fine vessel, which made the most sense. For a while, he was sure that was correct, but then he got to the bridge and saw the reports. Blood spattered all over the walls, people completely mutilated. At that point it was clearly not the Rebellion or the Jedi. Then reports came in of people being thrown about, which led him to believe it was a Sith Lord or Master making a power grab or trying to eliminate him or his counterpart before either of them became too powerful. But it occurred to him even some of the more brutal Lords and Masters would be much more subtle rather than slaughter an entire ship full of loyal Navy officers. Despite it not being ruled out, it was now very unlikely to him. Ultimately though, despite what he may say, he had no idea who would be capable of doing this and have the motivation to do so. No matter who they were, though, he knew he would kill them. Not simply so he could strike vengeance for their interrupting of a good evening's meditation, but to prove that he had the power, and the will to defeat another force user. Not even the other Acolyte wcould stand in his way.

Despite that crude determination though, he had to work with her to achieve his goals, and he was happy to do so. Turning to her slightly, he asked rather bluntly,"So who do you think it is?"

"Holly, grab that pipe sitting over there..." Vic asked, pointing across the small mess room (like a mess hall, but smaller) to a pipe leaning up against a table while he held the forsaken trooper down by his head. While he held the trooper, he watched Holly as she crossed the room; watched the curves of her body change and shift as her hips rotated about the small of her back. To think someone as frakked up as me would be so beautiful...
"Catch!" Holly called as she tossed the pipe. Vic outstretched his arm and wrapped his fingers around the pipe as it slapped against his palm. He stood up and grabbed the trooper with both hands as he set down the pipe. He widened his stance for leverage, making sure he had his balance and a firm grip on the shoulders of the trooper's uniform. Then, utilizing his impressive amount of upper body strength, he hurled the trooper into the air. He flipped the pipe into the air with his foot in an instant, positioning it perfectly under the trooper with a firm grasp from both his hands. As the trooper fell back down, gravity did all the work. The last thing that trooper saw was his no-longer-beating heart on the end of a pipe that was now coming up and out of his chest. Vic immediately backed away the second the pipe broke the skin on the trooper's back. He now stood with his chin resting in his hand, his head cocked as he admired his work.
"Too Draconian, perhaps..." He critiqued his own handiwork. "What d'you think, beautiful?" His head tilted in Holly's direction.
"Eh..." She thought for a moment, now mimicking Vic's stance, her weight shifted back on her right leg. Her voice almost sounded like a teenage girl of Holly's petite size, despite being 29. "The heart could be just a tad bit more centered." Her OCD pointed out. "That, and... it just doesn't seem very... you..." She critiqued, almost like Vic was an artist who favoured a specific style.
"I guess you have a point..." He replied. Just then, both their heads spun faster than one could blink, both of their eyes locked on the door to the room.
"I felt it, too." Holly immediately agreed, not even needing to hear Vic say a word. They always did have a knack for being on the same wavelength.

Agneta responded to her fellow Acolyte, a Human with eyes of different colors. It always caught her off guard when she saw them. It was just, weird to her. "Let's head out there and find out. I'm not sitting around her any longer. Sitting around her and keeping order is for the officers of this vessel," she said rather quickly, taking a significant breath immediately afterwards. The Zeltron walked over to a group of soldiers standing in a semi-circle around an upper enlisted individual. Upholstering her blaster repeater, a rather unorthodox weapon for a member of the Sith Order, she spoke in an authoritative tone, "We are heading down Corridor Bravo Two. Form up behind me."

It was up to the other Acolyte if he wanted to follow or not, so she left immediately down the Corridor. Somewhere down there, the most recent squad sent out had lost communications.

Leaving the troopers to sit, Vic and Holly immediately stacked up on the doorway. She had drawn her MP-350 SMG, and Vic had his broad machete out to do some hacking.
"Babe, lock the door..." Vic said, the command coming out as nothing more than a raspy whisper. Holly worked through her small, one-strap backpack that went across her chest, pulling out her hackpad. She hit a few icons, and all the doors on the level locked shut, unable to be opened normally.
"I can't promise that'll hold 'em long..." She said, a slight hint of fear in her voice. In all her years, her and Vic had been together since she was 15-16. They had been in each other's live for more than 10 years, and she was scared of a world in which he wouldn't exist. She didn't wanna think about it. She brought her SMG back up, leveling the sights at the door on the opposite side of the mess room. Vic stood right next to the other door, ready to cut up whatever walked through, as it walked through.
"Holly..." As Vic said her name, she found herself both scared and aroused, as he rarely used her actually name.
"Yeah?" She replied, almost coming out as a whimper.
"I love you..." Holly shot her eyes back at him.
"I know..."

Zachary stood still and watched her walk for a short few moments, observing. She had a rather military form for a member of the Sith. One might take her for a mere mercenary at first glance. Starting to follow, he developed his thoughts further. Headstrong, he thought, I anticipate a headstrong attitude and a brash stance on things.... wonderful. Despite his distaste on what he assumed, he pressed onward. No point in wasting a possibly very strong ally as he always said.

Taking a position slightly behind to her left, he began to speak,"We should proceed with caution. If you somehow haven't figured it out already, these intruders are no mere pirates, and they certainly aren't Jedi or Rebels. I have deduced that it's either an independent force user or a Sith. Either way, we must be weary.

Taking a moment, he tried to extend his mind, reaching out with the force in an attempt to identify who, or at least where, these attackers were. It was, though, to no avail. Silently cursing himself, he tried to keep his presence in the force hidden. If these attackers really did have a member powerful in the force, as all his evidence suggested, then they may be able to feel the two acolytes coming and be prepared. He hoped that by covering his own presence they would be taken aback by two, rather than the one they suspected.

"They're lookin' for us..." Holly commented, feeling the probing force presence.
"I can't feel 'em. How many?" Vic asked, frustrated with all the waiting. His heart pounded in his chest, and adrenaline was forcing itself through his veins. He tried not to be fidgety, but failed as he bounced slightly on his feet, twirling his machete.
"They're being careful. I can't feel how many. Maybe two... or just a powerful one." She said, very unsure of herself. She was just as pumped as Vic. "You wanna go find them first?" She shot him a sideways glance from the other side of the doorway, her back against the wall with her barrel level at the door on the opposite side of the room.
"Black 'em out..." He almost whispered with excitement. Holly pulled out her hack pad, then tossed Vic a pair of glasses. "What're these for?"
"Seeing, silly..." Holly replied, looking through the odd spectacles at Vic. Her finger hovered for a second over an icon on her hackpad, then she tapped it punctually. And with that, the whole block of the ship went pitch black...

As she jogged, she looked back at the man. "I fear that dwelling on the fact that the state of our enemy is unknown, will only hinder our ability to complete the task at hand," she said slightly out of breath. As she continued down the corridor, the blast door in front of her sealed itself shut. The Acolyte barely had enough time to slow herself down before she hit the door. Agneta unclasped her lightsaber from the small of her back. The long handled weapon was rarely used and she fumbled with it for a moment before activating it. Igniting the yellow blade, she buried it deep into the door. The enemy could be on the other side but she didn't know for sure. She could feel that she was getting close.

Agneta began to move the blade through the door, creating an opening large enough for her, the other Acolyte, and the few troopers that had decided to follow her, to step through. It was then that the lights went out. The temporary loss of vision startled her, but the light of the yellow blade kept her calm. Letting her foot down on the other side of the door, she nearly slipped on the bloody mess. As far as she could tell, the enemy wasn't there. The Acolyte pulled up the facemask of the Verpine Fiber Ultramesh. The nightvision kicked in. The corridor in front of her was filled with mutilated bodies of her allies. "I will avenge them. Their death won't be in vain," she thought. She transitioned to her blaster repeater. Rage boiled inside of her. She reached out with the Force to feel for the enemy. After a moment of intense concentration, she began to feel its presence on the other side of the blast doors about ten yards from herself.

"Goggles on, kiddos,"
she whispered to the men behind her, "They are just beyond that door."

Only partly agreeing with his counterpart, Zach stopped hypothesizing about what may or may not lie ahead and focused on the facts. No matter who or what they were they were dangerous and not to be taken lightly. As he continued down the corridor in Agneta's wake, very well capable of keeping up with her, the blast door in front of them closed shut. Fortunately for him though, Zachary's stop was done with much more finesse and managed to stop just short of hitting the blast door. Noticing the other Acolyte was reaching for his blade, he reflexively went for his, but made the connection before removing it completely from his belt. Stepping back, he let her get to work.

Nearly immediately after Zachary stepped through, almost as if they were waiting for them, the lights went off. Knowing full well he had no night vision equipment, he squinted his attempted to enhance his vision through the force, looking for one on the many bodies."Would anyone happen to have an extra pair of goggles? " Waiting a moment for the response, he examined the door controls to the corridor they just exited, and it was completely off.So they have access to the entire power grid then, not just the lights... Interesting. A second later one of the troopers tapped him and handed him a set of goggles. Whether he happened to have a pair extra or found it from one of the dead did not matter to him.

He approached Agneta, plans and strategies forming in his mind. Now by her side he halted her advance with a hand on the shoulder,"We'll have to breech the door with explosives, they have control of all power systems it seems. Well, we could also attempt to push open the door with the force, but my ability to do so is not yet trained extensively so I imagine it would be quite difficult. And in case you're thinking about it, cutting a whole with our lightsabers would telegraph our presence and we'd lose any chance of surprising them. The way he was speaking was fast and sounded like he was arguing with himself. It was obvious he'd thought it over quite extensively and thought highly of his own opinions.

His hand on her should made her jump a little bit. It was a dangerous thing to do when you have a blaster in your hand. "Mhm, I don't have much experience in demolitions," she said with a little bit of disappointment in her voice. Her fellow Sith Acolyte seemed to be incredibly cautious, which was reasonable, but she needed this threat eliminated as soon as possible. She looked to the rest of her group. One of them seemed to understand what she wanted and knelt down to open his pack. He retrieved a thermal det-package and made his way to the door. Agneta began to stack up on the door with the other soldiers. She scooted into the front to make sure she was first through the door.

The silent timer counted down from twenty.

"They're coming from your way." Vic stated, finally feeling a definitive presence. He moved over to the door Holly's weapon was already leveled at, drawing his Foe-Hammer revolver in accompaniment to his machete. "Let's dance..."

Was he being cautious? Yes, most definitely, but in his own eyes he was merely making the most tactically and logically sound decision. Nonetheless, he was glad that the other Acolyte agreed with him. Realizing it would be very unlikely that Agneta would actually use her lightsaber, he conjured a plan for himself. He would go in after the troopers, letting them identify and suppress the enemy. Hopefully, they would assume that the other Acolyte would be the only one and become preoccupied with her, allowing himself to come in and strike with greater surprise. He took a position on the opposite side of the door to Agneta, behind any troops that were on that side.
The timer reached ten seconds.
Almost as an afterthought, he said,"We should take at least one of them alive. See if we can find out who hired them, assuming they were hired."
