Hey everybody,
I figured there is no better place to ask for help than you all. I am putting on a three-part Star Wars seminar series at my Martial Arts school.

I have completed "Jedi Knight Out" and am on to "Jedi Knight Out, Part Deux: The Day of the Sith.

The goal of this seminar is to teach the kids about paradigm shifts and how differences of religion can lead to intergalactic turmoil. I do not necessarily want to present the Sith as evil. Or at least as a justifiable means-to-an-end.

My questions are these:

Can you think of some kid-friendly activities that are sith-power or sith combat techniques-oriented?

Also, for my initial lecture, what are some real life examples of benevolent human-beings that followed the Sith Code. I have Caesar, Napoleon, Darwin, FDR, Churchill, Nixon, Alexander the Great, Mao Zedong, Salah al din, and Richard I. If you can think of any others I would appreciate it.

I will be drawing on the similarities of world leaders on opposite sides of a conflict who both represented jedi and sith ideals whilst still fighting each other. E.g. Che Guevarra and Castro and Kennedy. Both parties were benevolent and more-or-less practiced Jedi ideals, yet on opposite sides of a conflict. Conversely, Sala al adin and Richard I both embodied Sith principles, yet also on opposite sides of a conflict. Let me know what you guys think and if you have any life-changing ideas.

I appreciate any assistance.

Evan

I've never heard anyone describe Richard Nixon as a benevolent human being.

I suppose your right and I should change that to well-meaning. At least in theory. The greater good and all.
