Biography

Born to a small migrant mining family on Bandomeer, Dax Tseebo’s parent’s expected little deviation of his life’s path from their own. The couple had migrated to Bandomeer seeking steady work and a middle class life after spending years in poverty on Tatooine. Finding work was quick on the bustling mining world. They soon found themselves living exactly the life they had come for. Dax’s childhood was no more or less than they felt it needed to be. He had the things he needed and even a little extra, but it was surely not luxurious. Years passed, Dax’s father continued his mining career, and his mother cared for him and the home. Dax was an energetic child, though he was not uncontrollable.

The year finally came when Dax’s schooling had advanced to specifics. He enrolled immediately in the mining sciences, hoping to follow his father before him and provide for a family of his own one day. However, his aspirations were higher than that of his father’s. It was his plan to one day become an operations foreman, and manage his own mining operation on Bandomeer. Dax had no issues picking up the core concepts of his courses. Much of the information was already familiar to him because of his father’s line of work. In addition to mining sciences Dax also explored learning in management, budgeting, and personnel in order to build a knowledge base for his career goals. A few years into his studies, Dax began work as a miner part-time as he finished schooling. Unknown to him, an event approached that would change the path of his life forever.
Dax’s only vivid memory of this event, one which he continuously failed to purge from his mind, was the blaring of sirens and mining horns. He had watched from his home as warships descended from the sky, laying thick screens of blaster fire across the city and mining posts. The Sith had come. He was told later that they had simply been testing the defenses and response time of Bandomeer’s defense forces, but it made little difference to him. During the attack the mining tunnel in which his father worked collapsed from the blaster fire and explosions, and he was killed. The next week, in a heat of passion, anger, and a will to protect others from the same fate, Dax enlisted in the Bandomeer Security Forces, which would later spearhead the creation of the Border Alliance.

Thus far, Dax has served a number of years in the military. During his time as a soldier Dax has learned many things he never imagined he would. He had learned to shoot, more importantly, he had learned to kill. The Border Alliance took advantage of the technological knowledge Dax already possessed from his work and studies and fueled it. He was taught more robust technical skills, some formally, but most on the fly from his squadmates. He was finally able to bring his coursework to the real world in a way he hadn’t imagined as well. His skills aid the Alliance in supplying their forces, developing routes, and deploying forces.

Despite the event that shaped his life and the anger that followed, Dax maintains a caring, friendly attitude. He jumps at the chance to aid others and is genuinely invested in protecting his home and the homes of others from the tyranny and cruelty of Sith rule. In what little time he has away from the Alliance, he visits his childhood home and ensures his mother is cared for.
