Halleck rummaged around his room on Ryloth. He was a very tall man and was getting used to the low ceilings, although it wasn't doing his back any good.

This will not do. This will not do at all.

He chirped to himself as he packed his luggage for the last time. His studies and research at the base on Af'El had kept him in seclussion for almost thirty years and he was now returning to the Jedi Temple back on Coruscant. His constand need for order was driving him to the edge as he tried to collect his data pads together and get them in order. If he was taking public trasport back to Coruscant he would have time to do it on the journey, but he had to take the fighter back. He tried to stand up to his full height, momentarily forgetting where he was and banged his head.

By the powers!

He skwarked and rubbed his head and got back to packing.

After an hour or so Halleck was ready to leave. He pressed the pad next to the door and picked up his case. As the door swished open he was confronted by a Twi'Lekk woman. She was much shorter than him, then again he was taller than most everyone, and she had pale orange skin.

Ah, Master Arakeen. I was just coming to see you off. I do hope you have enjoyed your stay here. Again, I am so sorry that we couldn't find a room with higher ceilings.

She fussed over him as he bent down even further to get through the door. She tried to take the case from his hand but found his grip too strong, but it was more the fact that he had taken twenty five years to compile this data and he wasn't about to let it out of his sight now that it was complete.

Please Kalre, do not fuss over me. I am perfectly fine. I thank you for your hospitality over the years and I do hope you can visit me back at the Temple on Coruscant one day.

They made their way down the hall and out to the landing pad where his fighter sat. He put the case behind the pilot seat and clambered into the cockpit. He was releaved that the Order had built him this fighter with the extra long nose for leg room and higher canopy for head room. He bid farewell to Kalre one final time and closed the canopy and set course for Coruscant.

The journey back to Coruscant would be a long one. He would have to make a stop at Corellia to pay one last visit to Sophia Muad'Dib's widow, Erid Jaal. He was now in his nineties and Halleck expected that he would pass on soon. He set the fighter to auto pilot and took the time to meditate and relax his mind after the fuss of having to compile the data over the past few months into something coherant to make it easier to enter into the archives.

Halleck landed in the private country estate of Erid Jaal. The courtyard was empty and unusually silent as he got out of the fighter. When he was last here there were droids roaming the courtyards keeping the gardens tidy and going about generally maintaining the complex. He felt uneasy as he stalked through the halls and down to the main house. He noticed a layer of dust on one of the tables and chirped to himself. He reached the part of the house that Erid could be found wandering about in and found a lone protocol droid scittering accross the hall.

Excuse me. PeeDee-zero-three, am I correct?

He remembered meeting this droid before and hoped he could ind out what had happened.

That is correct. I am PD-03. How may I be of assistance?

You can start by telling me where Mr Jaal is, and why the ompound is so quiet.

I am sorry. Mr. Jaal passed away some months ago. I am the only remaining droid. I was left here to care for the estate should his son or daughter return.

Halleck waved the droid away and thought about this. It was strange that Erid didn't send him a message, or that this droid should be here. His son would be either on the fringes of space or dead, and no-one had heard hide nor hair of his daughter since the accident. He would have to return at some point and investigate the matter, but for now he had to return to Coruscant. He went back to his ship and looked over the estate as he headed for the atmosphere. Now that he looked closer, it had become over-run with plants and vines. He shook his head and seet course once again for the capital world.

Halleck came out of hyperspace just inside the Coruscant system and headed for the planet. It had been a long flight and he needed some rest. He would be glad to get back to the Temple and finally relax after almost thirty years of hard graft and travelling. Plus he would be able to see the one man he had managed to become friends with in the Order, Yurin Kyjar. It had been too long and he expected that they would have made him a Council Member by now. He came into orbit and send a communication to the Temple announcing his return. Once he received confirmation he headed for the Temple landing complex and set down. He climbed out and stood to his full height of just over seven feet. He looked up at the Temple and made a happy chirping sound.

It sure is good to be back.

Halleck grabbed the case from behind the pilot seat of his fighter and closed the canopy. He informed the dock attendee that the fighter was his personal ship and that no-one else was to use it and he went to the entrance hall of the Temple. He stood in the giant doorway and looked around. Nothing had changed. He watched a group of younglings rush accross the hallway and skwarked at them.

Younglings! Do not run in the halls. If you have time to play, you have time to study.

The younglings stopped in their tracks and there was a chorus of 'Yes Master' before they headed for a study room. Halleck nodded his head and chirped happily, it was good to see that the younglings still knew their place.

*Shortly after seeing the younglings a Young brave and wise Jedi Knight Stalked the halls,he came walking down with his arms tucked neatly in his cloak as it was rapped around his body,The Force was at a rest with Carith as he passed the Returning Master,He Smiled and nodded to him but somthign came across him,this man wasnt known to Carith though,he hadnt seen him before and Carith was curious,he was obviously a Jedi,and he heard the younglings call him Master so he was obviously a Jedi Master,So Carith had no Disrespect for this Man,he respected Masters well,it seemed this one was away for a while so Carith wanted to be the first to great,He approached the Master and Bowed*

"Hello Master,I am Carith Korso proud Jedi Knight of the Jedi Order"

Halleck lokked down at him and chirped. He hadn't seen this Knight before, then again he'd been away for almost thirty years so it was no surprise.

Greetings Carith. I am Master Halleck Arakeen.

He bowed his head from the base of his long neck and chirped. He looked at the Knight and tilted his head. He was looking at him with a technique he had learned during his studies. He could see the Force flowing around him and through him, he was as centered as a Master.

How long have you been a Knight Carith?

"For quite somtime Master,i have been studying the ways of the Force and Helping out with Many Council Missions"

*Carith could tell this Master was using the Force,it was a different sense about him,He looked upon Carith with different eyes,Maybe this was a techniqe one Carith had not learned,he had never seen it nor heard of it before,though Carith could be sensing the common Force Aura of the Master*

"Im Sorry,Though i Have never heard nor seen you before Master...May i ask why?"

Halleck made a few clicking noises and his head twitched slightly before he spoke. It was possible that he was muttering to himslef in his own language, but then again...

No particular reason. Tell me, how much of the archives have you studied?

He spoke as he walked through the halls, his stride was very long and Carith had to almost jog to keep up.

Seraph ran down the halls shouting out to one of his friends who had taken his datapad. He sprinted down the hall gaining on his friend and was at her feet as she rounded a corner. Seraph to the corner to hard and slipped and fell and when he looked up he was at a Jedi Master's feet. He quickly got up and took a couple paces backward.

"I am sorry master... I am sorry I do not know your name."

*Carith was almost at a sprint to keep up with the master*

"I have studied lots in Archives,A Jedi's Training in the Force Never ends,Therefore i study as much as i can everyday,somtimes during travel"

Halleck skwarks loudly as the youngling runs into him. He leans down so that his face is right in front of his and his beaklike mouth clicks.

Do not run in the halls boy!

He steps over the youngling and carries on to the archives at a slightly faster pace now that he was annoyed about yet another youngling running about the Temple as though it were a playground. He spoke to Carith as they went.

That is good to hear. There are not enough Historians in the Order. And the archives are coonstantly being updated.

He tapped one of his three blue fingers on the side of the case he carried and chirruped.

"Yes Master,Though i did sense somthing different about you when we met...it seemed as if you were using a techniqe...it may be just me but were you?"

((IM talking about when you looked upon with the force or somthing and you saw it swirling around me))

Seraph quickly tries to follow Carith and The master, who had not told him his name. Shane has to keep up at a full sprint and allowed a corridor betweeen himself and the two

How very astute of you Carith. Yes, I was using the Force. It is an old technique used by a race called Miraluka. Though they have not been seen for many a year, their ways are not dead.

They reached the doors to the archives and when they went in Halleck stopped to take a good look around. He strode over to the main desk where the librarians work and put the case in front of and elderly lady. She looked up from her work and smiled.

Ah, Master Arakeen. It has been quite some time. Is that the data you have been working on?

He smiled, or what could be interpreted as a smile for him.

It most certainly is. Please take good care of this.

He turned to Carith and put a hand on his shoulder.

I want to show you something. Come with me.

*Carith smiled and nodded,he wondered what it was that the Master wanted to show him,Though he also wondered about this Miriluka Power,it sounded intresting Carith wanted to learn it*

"Yes Master.."

*As they walked side by said Carith struggled to keep up without seeming like he was*

"Master is there any way you can show me,show me the Miriluka Power?"

*Carith heard of the miriluka,it was a techniqe they used because they were said to be blind and they saw through the force instead of the eyes like all others*

All things in time, all things in time. For now I want to show you something that helped me in my studies here when I was a Knight.

They made their way through the winding paths of the archives. It was like a never ending maze, but although he'd been away for a long time Halleck still knew the way. They eventually came to a window that looked over one of the tiers of the Temple Gardens, in front of it was a desk with a datapad dock and a small holo projector and terminal.

I used to come here to study the archives. It helps to be able to look out onto something pleasing to the eye, and how it is even more so when you see it through the Force, teeming with life. Also, it is quiet here, no youngling to bother you with constant questions and bickering.

He said the last comment with slight humour in his voice and chirruped.
