Darva was born on Nar Shadda, a son of Telusa Shangerio widowed spice addicted mother, with his only birthrate being a set of rags two sizes too big. Life was rough at first, but as the young boy soon found out, the slums of Nar Shaddaa are ripe with opportunity if you know where to look. Using his knowledge of the slums that he had called his home, and he took up running goods between the local crime bosses at the age of eight, and became a favorite among the lower tier of crime lords. Darva ran routes for sixteen hours a day, as he tried his best to provide for him and his mother. Despite the boy’s hard work, the credits he brought home almost always went towards funding his mother’s habit, so he learned quickly to hide some for his own use. When he was ten years old, his mother sold him to some off worlders for thirty credits and .2 kilos of spice. A elderly smuggler by the name of Rendar Ghast had bought him, and raised him like a son. The two traversed the galaxy running cargo from Coruscant all the way to Utapa for over a decade, as Darva helped maintain Rendar's Dynamic class freighter, The Dauntless. Recently a deal went wrong on Ryloth, and Rendar was shot. Darva avenged his adopted father, but was unable to stop him from passing on. Now left with a ship that he’s called home for the last twelve years, Darva is looking to make a name for himself.
Darva knows that one’s words can be as deadly as a blaster if used correctly, but he also knows that knowing when the line is crossed that a quick draw can be essential to a prolonged life.
STRENGTH: Darva has about the average strength for a human, and relies for his quick reflexes to get him out of most fights. 5/10
DEXTERITY: Darva is quick on the draw and ready to run for it if he needs to. Years of running routes of crime bosses on his home world have helped him learn about squeezing through passages and making those crucial jumps. Though those years are long since past him, he hasn’t lost his speed. 8/10
CONSTITUTION: Darva is like most humans; if you shoot him he gets hurt, and if you stab him he bleeds. Knowing he lacks a lightsaber or the frame to take the hard hits he relies on his good looks and reflexes to avoid conflicts, or hospital visits. 4/10
INTELLIGENCE: Darva is no fool, though he isn’t the smartest human on the block, he knows thing or two. He speaks fluent Basic, Ryl, and Huttese, and knows most Binary. 7/10
WISDOM: His time on Nar Shaddaa and seeing the best and worst of the galaxy have given him insight. His life experiences have made him more skeptical and observant of how the galaxy really works. 6/10
CHARISMA: Darva loves to talk, and if he can will keep someone talking if it means the difference between getting away or ending up dead. His mentor taught him that a good choice of words can make a difference between life and deaf. Though he hasn’t perfected the art of the silver tounge, he’s making progress. 6/10
