BIOGRAPHY
Born on Tython, the children of generations of Jedi, Orrin and Corvin Draay were destined to be Jedi. From a very young age the twins showed themselves to be incredibly gifted in the Force, though later in life they would be attracted to different aspects of the Force. They were only four when the Sith destroyed Tython, and most of the Jedi Order with it. Their mother was among the Jedi killed on that day. As fate would have it the twins were on Chandrilla with their father, Jedi Master Byron Draay, and his squad and were there to face the wrath of the Sith Empire. Though Chandrilla fell, they escaped with a small group of Mandalorian soldiers who were still allied with the Republic and had served with their father for years.
While the Jedi Order slowly reformed itself over the next few years, Byron chose to stay away from what he considered to be the foolhardy members of the Jedi Army of Light, and continued his own fight from the shadows against the Sith Empire. The twins grew up among these warriors, their father the last of the Mandalorian commandos who had served with him, Atin Skirata, and the few soldiers that were left under their command. Over the next four years the boys practically grew up on the battle field. Their father trained them in the ways of the Force, when he could find the time to do so, while Atin trained them in the more conventional ways of war.
Life would have continued like that for them, engaging in guerrilla warfare against the Sith in their little corner of the Galaxy, until Byron, Corvin, and most of the squad were killed during a particularly violent encounter with Sith forces. Orrin only survived because Atin escaped with the boy in his arms. Atin escaped to his home on Concord Dawn, to the Mandalorian Dominion. Intending to return the boy to the Jedi once they had recovered, he knew that he had to keep Orrin's true identity hidden. So he presented the boy as Darman Mereel, an orphan whose parents had been killed during a skirmish and whom Atin had adopted.
Still suffering from the trauma of loosing his father and brother, Orrin realized that he had no desire to return to the Jedi. And though Atin explained to him the risks of living among the Mandalorians, Orrin wanted to stay with Atin. With his very identity a threat, he must now keep his past as a Jedi hidden and learn a new way of life.
PERSONALITY
Following his brother's death Orrin has withdrawn into himself. The strong bond he shared with his brother meant that he experienced Corvin's death as if it was his own. The arrogant swagger that everyone identified with him is gone, replaced with a quiet passivity. Even a year later he feels the echoes of his brother's death every time he uses the Force. That coupled with the hatred of the Force prevalent among the Mandalorains, he is now scared of using the Force. But at the same time the fact that he can feel his brother whenever he uses the Force prevents him from turning his back on the Force. Both scared off and addicted to using the Force, he is slowly breaking under the strain of reliving his brother's death just so that he can still sense him. This unwillingness to move on from Corvin's death is turning him into a person completely unlike who he was.
SKILLS + POSSESSIONS
In combat Turin makes extensive use of Force assisted acrobatic maneuvers; spinning, jumping and weaving his way through his opponent's defenses. By focusing on the Force and letting it flow deeply through him, he can achieve such levels of acrobatic prowess beyond the normal limits of a human. In a fight he rarely stays in one place, hoping to never give his opponents the time to mount a counter offensive while he attacks them from all directions.
Still a child, he is by no means a skilled warrior, most wouldn't even call him a warrior. But he has been trained from a very young age by Jedi and Mandalorians alike and he is more than capable for his age. In a fight against someone his age, or even a few years older than him, he would come out on top on most occasions. But that is the limit of his skills at the moment. At the same time, he has spent years learning how to fight with the Force, and must not learn how to fight while keeping his abilities with the Force hidden at almost all times.

RELATIONSHIPS
Orrin's twin brother, Corvin was his closest confidant. While their personalities were nothing alike, the twins always had each other's backs and shared a very deep bond. Calm and patient, Corvin was the perfect foil to Orrin's brash impulsiveness. Corvin's death during the destruction has had a deep effect on Orrin, in part leading to him turning his back on the Force and the Jedi.
