Plot Outline Submission Template:
1. What is going to happen in your plot?
In my plot we will be trying to convince the native people of Anzat that the Exile's are strong enough to build a temple on their planet. They are a fierce band of warriors and admire only the strong thus the trials each Exile will have to go through will be difficult. Warlod Xesh has instructed the Exile's to build a temple on the planet, a sort of home base for the Exile faction. As such the characters that participate in this plot will mainly try to gain the respect of the Anzati population. We will do this through a series of four (4) threads, in each thread the participants will gain favor with the Anzati in different ways. Ranging from slaying a monstrous beast that the local Anzati fear, to challenging their fiercest warriors in combat and even to gaining the approval of an old and wise Anzati.
2. What other players will be a part of this?
Currently I am still recruiting members for the plot, I need about eight people. That being said though at least one other has showed interest in playing as well which brings our total to 2/8 participants. If you look at that link I posted above that is where most of the recruiting will take place and it can keep you up to date on who is willing to join or has already joined. I plan on keeping it current.
3. Where are all the places (if more than one) that your plot will be taking place?
The plot will solely take place on the planet of Anzat. However it will offer many different settings on that planet. From high into the Vof Kadi mountains, to the lowlands and to the Living Thicket forest.
4. Please provide a basic in-character timeline of what you expect to happen.
There will be four, one shot, threads. Meaning each character will complete a certain task to impress the Anzati people and gain their favor. Out of eight Exiles I plan on splitting them into four teams of two.
One team will climb the mountains of Vof Kadi to reach a wise and very old Anzati monk. This team of two will have to convince the monk that the Exiles are worthy of building a temple. They can do this by whatever means they deem necessary. Afterwards this monk NPC will give them a valuable gem to bring back down the mountain to show the Anzati community. This gem will symbolize the monks approval of the two Exile's and thus the people will approve of the temple being built.
The second thread will be for two other Exiles. In this thread this pair of Exiles will hunt down a dangerous beast and kill the creature. They will then return it's head to the low land Anzati to prove they are strong and skilled hunters. (The Anzati greatly respect one's ability to hunt) Thus the Anzati will admire their courage and the Exiles will again, gain the favor of the Anzati.
The third thread will be actually finding the location of where the temple will be built. Anzat has a strong well of Force energy, so these characters will need to find a strong location of the Force. Meanwhile the Anzati say that Force Spirits lurk in the Deep Shade (The area the Exile's will be searching) so this pair of Exile's will have to be careful. It is said that these spirits can give someone a very terrible vision of the future. So while they are looking for a good spot for the temple, they are also instructed to see if these "Force Spirits" exist or are merely just Anzati rumors. This thread will be an "Open" thread.
Our fourth and last thread will be to kill two great Anzati warriors. This pair of Anzati warriors curses the Exiles because they view them as outsiders. They are also spreading wild stories of the Exiles and gaining a following among their people. This is because their people respect them and listen to them. Thus in this thread two Exiles will challenge these Anzati warriors, and hopefully kill them. This will be a PvP thread and if won, will show the strength of the Exiles to all Anzati.
5. What do you or your character hope to achieve with this plot? What is the "end-game"?
The end goal of the plot is to build a temple on Anzat just as Warlord Xesh commands. We do this by completing the four threads that basically make the Anzati admire the Exile faction. If we prove to the Anzati we are worthy of a temple, then we will be allowed to build one.
Not only that but I'm hoping this gives the Exile faction a "Home Base" of sorts. A planet we can call safely ours and a people, the Anzati, that trust and admire our strength.
6. Do you need any involvement of canon NPCs or faction leaders to be DMed by a staff member? If so, please detail who/what and for what purpose.
I will not need any cannon NPC's or faction leaders to be DM'd by the staff as far as I can tell. If this changes I'll be sure to let you know, as soon as I know.
