Dal sat in the pilot's chair of his modest starfighter, enjoying the peace and quiet of the empty ship. He knew this ship in and out and his hands moved independently of his mind as the switches and levers were set in the right sequence for the jump to lightspeed. Letting out a big sigh, he reclined back in the chair as the navicomputer began to calculate the path.

"You know, there is a much quicker route if you went around..." a soft voice spoke from behind him.

"Ugh!" he interjected as he leaned forward and rubbed his scaly hands against the matching skin of his face. "Not now, Xoda. Please, not now."

The voice quickly replied, "I don't understand why you never listen. You could save yourself a lot of trouble if you would."

"We don't have time to take any of your glorious detours." said Dal sarcastically.

"But's it's a faster route..."

"I said, enough!"

"Well, don't get snippy with me! Fine! I'll leave." said Xoda, her sweet voice drifting away, leaving Dal alone once again.

"Finally!" he exclaimed. As if to answer, the hyperdrive engaged and the small vessel vanished from view.

--Dal's Diary. First Entry--

"I Wish"
I wish I could say I lived a marvelous life before it all. I wish I could say that I grew up in a loving home with strict but fair parents. Parents that taught me the skills that I currently have, in an attempt to teach me how to defend myself in a dangerous galaxy. Parents that would take me on sweet vacation getaways and treacherous hunts. Teaching me to enjoy the few good moments life has to offer, and also how to survive when you find yourself at rock bottom.

These are things I wish I could say.

Hell, I would even settle for horrible parents who kept me around only because of our shared blood. They could have taught me toughness simply from having to survive in their household. Escaping from their wrath; strengthening my constitution when I couldn't. Learning to scrounge and ration for the bare sustenance they provided, when they did.

These are things I wish I could say.

The truth is, well, the truth is... My parents have never existed in any way. From what I could tell, I was released from their custody as a newborn. My entire life was spent in a complex that trained me and studied me. Eventually I found out that it was my destiny simply from being born as a clawdite. My handler told me it was a great chance for the company, as my people were usually very wary about submitting themselves for any extended evaluations. Even still, my parents delivered me to them. My fate was sealed before it was even begun. I've never known what bargain was struck, and what my parent's gained out of it. Maybe I never will. But I wish I did.

--Dal's Diary. Entry 42--

"What Does It Mean?"
Things have been weird for me lately and I'm not sure of the meaning. It's been a few weeks since the fall but my head is still ringing. I keep seeing a woman. She appears and disappears just as quickly. I don't know what it all means. I'm almost sure it's the same look I was wearing that day, but I've never had a disguise stick with me this long. Sometimes, I swear I can even hear her speak to me. I must be losing it. Maybe there is no meaning. Maybe I just need to rest. Yes, I think I should rest.

--Dal's Diary. Entry 90--

"Xoda"
Why won't this woman ever shut up! I swear I wasn't this annoying when I was her. All she does is nag. Though, I must say, it is nice to have company sometimes. I spend so much of my life alone that I've forgotten what it felt like to have a constant companion. My old handler seems to think he may have found a solution to rid myself of Xoda once and for all. I'm not sure if I will take him up on his offer yet. Not only is she starting to grow on me, but I haven't seen the academy since I graduated. I promised myself that once I earned my bounty hunter's license and the right to travel away that I would never return oihmjfkfm, nms

Hey, this is Xoda. I'm not sure who he's even writing this for. He's such an oddball. But the truth is he's afraid of his old bully. Especially since said bully has become a handler djknh;oinhrlnv

Wait, what did she write? Gah! THIS WOMAN!!!

Though he is known as one to never shy away from a fight, Dal plays at more ruthless than he really is. He nature is calm and standoffish, however when he needs to make his presence known, he does so in a grand way. His time training as a bounty hunter has made his mind very sharp in certain areas. The trauma he has suffered over his life has made it weak in others.

His racial ability to change shape and mimic others has been long studied and honed to great strength. However, with his current mental health deteriorating, this ability is beginning to suffer.

As a soldier, he is cold and calculating. As a man, he is sincere and trustworthy. With an unsettling past and unsure future, Dal is looking to develop long and profitable networks.
