Custom Compacting Bowcaster
Description:
What used to be a simple, standard Bowcaster used for hunting on Kashyyyk has been increasingly modified to become a portable rifle replacement. The Bowcaster was smaller than average bowcasters, meant for younger hunters to learn how to use them. What this Bowcaster sacrifices in firepower and ammo capacity, it makes up for in its ease of carrying. Kyber has contracted people to do modifications on the Bowcaster throughout his life. The two ends of the Bowcaster meant to focus the Plasma Bolt compacts and folds together, making it east for Kyber to strap to his back and conceal as a weapon. It takes Kyber about 5 seconds to take the weapon off his back and prepare it to fire, requiring him a moment to either take cover or draw quickly in a moment of in hostility.
Intent: To give visible credit to Kyber's upbringing on Kashyyyk. Bowcasters are his favourite weapons and this one belonged to his deceased best friend.
