Emryc didn’t react to her suggestion or compliment, keeping his gaze trained on the game. He felt her sit down next to him and take a few strawberries. There was a commercial break when he glanced over to see her with a strawberry in each hand. His face scrunched up into visible disgust at the sight of it, “The chocolate is going to melt in your hands and…”He said no more, thinning his lips slightly before turning back to look at the screen. He knew a lost cause when he saw one.

Her question was actually intriguing, and it wasn’t often he ran into people that showed any interest in Huttball. He vaguely thought of Amon, deciding he needed to hit the man up again for some drinks and Huttball. Emryc floated another strawberry over, finishing it before he answered her.

“They are out of the game permanently,” Emryc explained at last, “They can opt to get a cybernetic, but it’s usually at a penalty and has to be garbage quality,” The game was back on and it was a whole new round, “Very few players stay for more than one season. They count themselves lucky to make it all the way through with all their limbs. The longer a player lasts, the more credits they rack up since their salary goes up exponentially with each game.”

She likely didn’t care for those extra details, but it was something Emryc was passionately interested in. He seldom watched the games around others, but this was a very minor game against a team that habitually lost. Emryc knew his game emotions would stay in check for this.

“I’ve thought about playing in the games before,”
Emryc said after a long while, his mind drifting off.

Tiamat alternated between the strawberries, taking a bite of one, then the other, finding them an odd snack while watching some sports show, but she was enjoying them nonetheless. Though, from the corner of her eye, she could see Emryc's distorted look of disgust to her eating habits. She expected him to continue to ignore her comments until something else bothered him about her habits, to which she thought it was a bit unorthodox to use the Force to feed himself. She kept her attention on the holo until a strawberry started to float to him; her eyes followed the treat, nearly tempted to snatch it from the air, but decided against it.

He then explained some of the rules of the game regarding losing limbs; she heard the cheering and the game was back on, pulling Emryc's attention. He continued, elaborating on the short commitment time from the players, but long-term offered them credits. The Sith's eyebrows rose, impressed by the tidbits of information; normally he when he spoke passionately about a topic, it was something about history. At least with this one, she isn't trying to keep herself from falling asleep.

Tiamat was silent as she finished her two strawberries and then grabbed one more, while trying to figure out the who who of this game. She listened to the commentators as they called out fouls, penalties, and legal moves in the game; then of course was the violence that seemed to really stir up the crowd. Working to categorize and recall what was happening, she heard Emryc speak again, almost day-dreamy as he explained his aspiration at one point in his life. The redhead didn't believe him and she gave him a look of skepticism.

"Emryc...you can't even stand touching chocolate strawberries or saucy wings, how would you be able to handle that?" she nodded at the direction of the holo which had a close-up of a grimy and bloodied player.

"Sometimes I wonder if you were deprived of playing outdoors in the dirt." she sighed with a shake of her head and quietly ate the strawberry.

“I’m only like that about foods,” He stated as he watched the player profiles, “I handle blood, guts and other things just fine,” Emryc said as he glanced down at his laptop to keep typing. He focused on his work for a while before answering again.

“I grew up on a space station,”He said curtly without looking, “I was probably deprived of a lot of things,” Emryc wasn’t a big fan of the outdoors despite how often Renfry attempted to get him to like it. Even the most uncomfortable bed on the station sounded better than laying on the ground in a tent for no particular reason.

He could recall when he and Tiamat first met and he hadn’t even known what a mall was. Emryc wasn’t concerned with how much he didn’t know - he knew most things he cared to know already.

“You weren’t so deprived,” He said as he looked back at the Holo, “And yet we find ourselves in the same place.”

Just fine...

Tiamat glanced at the holoscreen as he described himself just being as picky as he was with his food. She was still a bit skeptical, and that my have been she never seen him actually engage in carnage. As far as she knew, he was very hands-off with many things he did. She did not press it of course, seeing as he turned to his laptop to shoot off another email and her own attention turned to the holo while the game picked up from their timeout. A quiet sigh escaped her lips as she leaned back, but Emryc spoke again; Tiamat seemed surprised by him sharing such information. He either never said a word and danced to a different subject if a related lesson could be formed.

Her blue eyes studied him for a moment as though she were looking at a different person beside her. She couldn't imagine what it would be like to grow up on a space station; she had thought changing schools on new worlds was tough, but a station sounded so confined, and dull. Tiamat frowned, but didn't say anything, let alone know what to say to something like that. It was like making fun of someone's parent and finding out they were dead. She kept her gaze on him, a bit of a scowl formed when he called her for being less deprived and yet winding in the same place at him. Tiamat opened her mouth to disagree, surely they both came to the Sith, but that was about as far as it would be for them to be in the same place.

Tiamat's red locks fell over her shoulders when she turned her head back to the holoscreen, watching closely, "Your favorite are the Rancors, yeah?" she asked moving back to the topic of Huttball, "Who are their rivals out of all the teams?" she asked, eyebrows rising in curiosity.

He was done eating his strawberries, and he was thrilled at his hands being perfectly clean. He shut the laptop down after the emails were sent and it turned to commercial again. This gave him the opportunity to turn to look at Tiamat curiously. Emryc crossed his arms over his chest, casually leaning against the couch.

“Are you trying to get to know me after almost three years?” He asked rather bluntly, a single eyebrow raising just a bit. Emryc doubted she had any real interest in the game, thought here was a minute possibility. The half Sephi stared at her for a moment before he continued with his answer, “Yes, I’ve been following the Rancors for years. Their biggest rivals are the Tatooine Krayts,” His eyes narrowed and a look of deep displeasure clearly manifested on his face.

Emryc shook himself out of it, looking back when the game came back on. He turned to lean back into the armrest, casually extending his feet out slightly on the couch, legs folded so the knees were pointing up. He purposely made sure his visible ankles were near Tiamat so his ride up pants were right there to annoy her.

He tilted his head to keep watching the game, now pulling up his datapad to begin a round of Qwent, “Huttball is incredible to see in person. You may consider it one day,” Emryc said after a while, “Or one of the arena fighting games.”

Tiamat watched him cross his arms, her own gaze reflecting a blank stare that he gave her so many times seeming oblivious to his suspicion as to why she was asking questions. There was also the point that he probably would not ever answer such questions when they first met. He dodged, and still does, even ones she thought were important; these ones...were of course what she assumed was just normal conversation. She felt herself leaning just a little closer as she waited for his response, and much to her surprise, he did respond, but rather displeased to the fact he had to utter their name in the presence of others.

"Tatooine Krayts, huh?" she leaned back, unintentionally mirroring his movements as she took her attention to the screen, "I think I rather like the Tatooine Krayts." she hummed and pulled out her comm to look up exactly who they were and their star players currently, "Hmm...looks like they won against the Rancors in the 350th Nal Hutta championship a few years ago..." she scrolled through their games, pausing occasionally to grimacing at the gruesome plays that made the betting headlines. Emryc had gotten even more comfortable, lounging out on the sofa, drawing Tiamat's attention to the pants that were too short...and now they were halfway up his calf. She wondered if she looked this terrible when she wore her oversized sweaters.

Her eyes narrowed as she tried to figure out if they would look better cuffed or he should just get ride of them entirely. Though her decision making process paused when he suggested for her to see a game at some point. Tiamat thought about being in an arena like the ones on the holo; it had been a while since she visited some sporting event. She started to cuff one of his pant legs to see if that helped her more than him, "Perhaps, I haven't been to anything remotely similar but I used to go to swoop races when I was a kid, I loved the atmosphere, the excitement, the yelling, cheering, food..."

Emryc privately regretted answering her question about the rivalry. He knew she would be as insufferable about it as possible and he decided his usual policy of not entertaining questions was the best. He said nothing to her response, focusing back on the game. However his jaw tightened when she began to read off facts she looked up.

“Because Kazwel decided to kriffing run the ball instead of passing it despite-” Emryc hissed out the words passionately before he abruptly stopped himself. He cleared his throat before taking in a deep breath and exhaling slowly. Emryc quietly looked away again, remaining completely silent and not bothering to finish off his sentence.

Emryc had a slightly grumpy look on his face as he watched the game. His thoughts turned back to that aforementioned championship game again. He had accidentally constricted the Force around someone’s neck in his rage at the time. Thankfully it was in a seedy cantina on Nar Shaddaa and no one paid it much attention.

He felt her touch against his leg and it took a moment to realize what she was doing. There was something oddly intimate about it, as if she were fussing over him. His head whipped back to look at her as his foot receded back towards himself and out of her grasp. Emryc quirked an eyebrow as he stared at her, “What’re you doing?” He asked curtly. Silver eyes scanned hers as if looking right through them.

Emryc paused for a moment to reflect on the rest of what she had said. His eyes flashed down to his Qwent game as he doled out his cards, “Huttball is like that but the crowd is much wilder. On second thought, you probably won’t be able to handle it.”

Yes, what was she doing?

Tiamat retracted her hands quickly as though she had nearly had them caught in a cookie jar and snapped her gaze to Emryc who seemed like he was trying to figure that out also. She pulled her hands into her lap and turned to face the holo-screen, her cheeks now running as red as her hair as she went to steal a side glance to the one cuffed pant-leg. It looked terrible, and now with only one side done, the other side was incomplete leaving the woman unsatisfied with her task. However, she seemed to realize how suddenly hot she felt, but still unaware of how red her face was as she watched the commercials until the game returned. Her heart must have been racing as she could still feel it thumping in her chest as she took a deep breath to try to clear her head.

Not that it would work since Emryc decided to continue conversation after all, elaborating how the crowd was more intense than the one she would be used to from swoop races. However, it was the end comment that caught her, he knew her well enough that she was not someone who would back down from a challenge, and if given the opportunity, to disprove any falsehoods.

"I handle anything." she stated with a very matter-of-fact tone as she crossed her arms across her chest, "In fact, I would enjoy myself, scum and all. I don't think you could handle it though." she hummed while tilting her head to look at him from the corner of her eye to gauge his reaction.

Emryc turned to her with a raised eyebrow, “Every party I’ve seen you at you’ve been a pathetic wallflower,” He most recently recalled the Syndicate party where he had livened up the entire setting. He still had some of the moonshine with him for whenever he felt like getting completely plastered, “The only time I’ve seen you lively is in the bedroom,” He followed up with a teasing grin after that.

He focused his attention back on the screen, the grin fading away to a scowl as his team failed to score. The opposing team lost perpetually, and the fact that they even put up a fight was embarrassing for the Rancors. He grumpily stared at the game for a while. Though he said nothing, there were subtle changes in expression every now and then. The muscles on his face tensed up and twitched here and there to betray the rage that simmered beneath the surface.

After a moment, he reached over and switched the channel entirely. It landed on some drama movie. Emryc turned his attention over to his Qwent game, having little desire to let anyone see him visibly angry at a Huttball game.

“I’ve been to everything short of the Galactic Huttball championship,” He said after a while, his focus still on the game on his datapad, “Costs a fortune to score those tickets.”

"I don't like parties." she stated flatly, nearly pouting in his callout of her being a wallflower. She remembered the last party she attended with the syndicate and felt entirely too out of place to even have a drink, let alone the drink of the night seemed to be some sort of moonshine. It was after that night she decided to avoid any syndicate dealings, business or leisure, for a while, but then again, the huttball stadium is probably full of syndicate members. Her brow narrowed when he tried to follow up with a quip about her being the most lively in the bedroom, but it did not settle well with her.

Tiamat, though seemingly focused on the game, was not paying attention to what was happening on the screen as her thoughts seemed to turn violently in her head. Emryc seemingly oblivious as he focused on the game, his own inner turmoil reflected on the struggle of the game, while Tiamat ruminated on the fact of how unlively he seemed to perceive her.

She felt she had entirely wasted her time here, she tried to understand but instead he said nothing more and if she were to say something, he would most likely come back with a question regarding if she would like him any other way. Internally she rolled her eyes and the channel suddenly switched to some holo-drama. Her blue eyes narrowed, recognizing the holofilm, it was an older one she typically did enjoy, but when Emryc spoke again, now enlightening how he been to everything short of the championship game, that seemed to push the wrong button with Tiamat.

There was a sudden crackling of cheap metal bending, glass shattering and sparking as the holoscreen fell into itself, sliding slightly down the wall until the screws gave and finally crashed onto the floor. The Force fell heavily in the room, "Costs a fortune?" she scoffed, "Why not ask Preef et al. for some at one of those great parties that I seem to be so pathetic at? Be so high on spice and moonshine, I'm certain a deal could be made."

She released her arms and dug her fingernails into the couch cushion before standing up, "Or don't, since, I'm so dull and probably anything I suggest will be pathetic because I don't know what I am talking about or don't know what I enjoy because I don't always like the same things as you." Tiamat threw her hands in the air.

Emryc was about to win his match when Tiamat had an outburst he couldn’t have predicted in a million years. Silver eyes flicked up from the datapad to watch it all, darting for a moment only to observe the Holoscreen crash and fizzle out. His mind briefly went to the obnoxious amount of credits he would be charged for that before being dragged back to the present situation.

The rage emanating from her was palpable, but he didn’t move a muscle. His face back to its usual mask devoid of any emotion. His game timed out as his gaze lingered on Tiamat as she stood up and threw her arms up. He simply blinked at her, the same eyes she had seen for years gazing back at her.

“What do you want from me, Tiamat?” He asked very quietly after a long moment. He hadn’t moved at all from where he was, but it was clear she had his undivided attention. His expression betrayed nothing, and his demeanor was back to being cool and collected.

He didn't say anything at first, and that did not surprise Tiamat. He usually met her with the blank stare and void features, it made it difficult to gauge what he was thinking, but she knew he was listening. She had let hear arms fall back to her sides as she stood there, not entirely sure what he would have done other than sit there, but when he asked what she wanted from him, she couldn't answer. It wasn't that she did not want anything from him, it was whatever she would tell him, he would come back with something that would set him from her, defining what seemed like what would not cost him anything and her everything.

She was still seething of course, "Nothing, I don't want, I don't need, anything from you." she gestured with crossing her arms, and throwing them out as she made it clear it was nothing. Inhaling deeply, she shrugged her shoulders and rolled them out, her own gaze hardening, "Nothing Emryc, truly nothing. There isn't anything I want that I cannot get for myself. " Tiamat started and then paused, her eyes looking beyond him as she fell into her thoughts before speaking again. Her eyes refocused on his silver gaze.

"But I am not pathetic, and I am not just only lively in the bedroom." she folded her arms, the blue of her eyes were sharp with the crystaling of yellow, "But then again, if that's what you want to go with, fine...that's fine. Its all fine." she scooped up her holopad from the end table.

Emryc continued to stare at her as she blurted out words that clearly contradicted what the pulse in her energies suggested. Did she think he would buy that? Nonetheless, Emryc was never in the business of coaxing things out of people. He wasn’t the type to go chasing or showing an overabundance of compassion. When she said she wanted nothing, he took it at face value. She was perfectly at liberty to reveal whatever she pleased on her own time. He had never forced anything out of her and he wouldn’t start now.

He watched her grab her holopad and act as if she were preparing to leave, “Why does it matter what I think?” Emryc couldn’t help but ask, though it was more thinking aloud than asking her. He had come across this before and it made little sense to him. He existed and did things regardless of the opinions of others.

The half Sephi straightened up a bit more on the couch, realizing that he was practically draped across it. He looked from Tiamat, to the destroyed Holo, and then back at her, “I’m not paying for that, so I hope you have cash to fork over. I’m not going to let your silly tantrums slide and wreck where I stay.”

Emryc rose to stand then, taking a few steps towards her, “I don’t know what your deal is, but you either need to speak plainly and stop wasting both our time or keep your damn mouth shut. Pick one or the other, no more of this half assed moody bullshit. I’ve had enough of it and so have you.”

He lingered there for a few moments, frosty gaze locked on her as he looked down towards her. Still adorable in his glasses, still with one pant leg cuffed. He allowed that pause, but he then walked towards his work area.

Was he really that oblivious to why it mattered what he thought?

Tiamat had to blink as she stood unmoving with her holopad, trying to figure out if he was serious about not understanding why it mattered so much, at least to her. She could care less about anyone else. He sat up on the couch, directing what she was going to pay for as consequence for her tantrum; though regarding it as silly fueled the fire inside her once more. She watched him rise from the couch, her jaw tightening as he towered over her; he spoke and was clearly agitated by the ordeal. He was still wearing his glasses and a part of her wanted to stop and just admire how adorable he still looked with them on, but echoes of his words rang loudly and rage bubbled underneath.

He started to walk to his study, but the door would shut on him, locking him out with a subtle finger flick from the redhead, "Half-assed moody bullshit?" she repeated, "I can give you a full-ass moody bullshit if you would like! How can you not know what my deal is, I am certainly tired of you playing this oblivious card with me, I just told you I am not pathetic and I'm not dull. You don't get to crack a jab like that, that is not fair at all. Do you not realize how much it took for me to tell you the things I did earlier today? Or how much it took for me to even just come to Tatooine? To be here, to be present!" she felt herself get louder, pausing for a moment, and shook her head, breathing in to keep herself from letting her rage spill out.

"You don't know me as much as you like to think you know me, Emryc." she stepped toward him but stopped, her free hand clenched into fist, her eyes falling to his cuffed pant leg, "And do something about your pants already." Tiamat huffed.

Emryc’s eyebrows rose slightly as the door was slammed in his face to prevent him from venturing into the office. He stood there staring at the door and Tiamat knew she was walking on thin ice. Whenever he stood staring off at nothing it was either him in deep thought or him actively trying to reel in unbridled rage that would see the entire hotel destroyed. Given the situation, she would know exactly which it was. She would also catch his fingers curling into a fist before relaxing again, followed by a slow exhale of breath. She would know exactly how much she was testing him at that moment. The entire hallway suddenly felt deathly cold and a sense of dread would claw from the pit of her stomach.

It was that side of him people feared too much to love.

The half Sephi heard her entire tirade and felt it wash over him like a tidal wave. He stood there staring at the doorway the entire time, his face as impassive as always. Sharp jawline, the perfect nose and his strong features were all poised away from her in complete stillness.

He only reacted when she added in the bit about his pants. Emryc turned to look at her, staring blankly. His hands went to the waistband of his sweatpants and he casually dropped the pants and kicked them aside without a word. If the pants were such a point of contention he would simply remove them from the equation. He was left standing there in his boxer briefs with starfighter designs on them. His gaze never left Tiamat’s to convey that he was entirely unamused by the situation despite his state of attire.

“I will ask you again,” He said quietly, an icy chill in his voice, “What do you want from me, Tiamat?” Emryc’s gaze pierced into hers, and she had this moment to be upfront with him. He wouldn’t allow her to dance around it. She could throw whatever she wanted at him, but she kept avoiding the fundamental question until now. He would press her on this unapologetically, unraveling her in every way with the way he looked at her. It was the gaze of a beast threatening to lash out. The faintest hints of gold glimmered amidst the silvers before disappearing again.

She would know he was not playing games and he wouldn’t tolerate any from her.

Tiamat knew very well she was getting under his skin, she knew how to press her limits and it was starting to seem like pattern between them; if they spent just long enough together, then things unraveled and it always seemed to be in these moments, when she had felt the most vulnerable. Emryc though seemed completely unbothered or at least indifferent when she was around, it was difficult to tell if he were enjoying himself. She felt another chill run along her spine and she remained unmoved by the change in his demeanor. Her own blue eyes fixated on the glow of silver and gold until he shifted. He removed the pants and stood in his (noted) luxury spaceship boxers, hoodie and glasses, which were probably some obscenely expensive brand, but overall he looked entirely normal for their abnormal encounter.

He asked her again, the question she was clearly avoiding and remained still for a moment longer before letting her arms relax at her side. There wasn't just one thing she wanted from him and it felt as though whatever she did want, she had no control, his own words ringing in her head questioning if she would want him in any other way besides this and everything that came with it. His gaze was more intensely piercing as it ever has been while he saw through the turbulent waves that ebbed and flowed from her being. Deep beneath the surface though, there was defeat and her heart pounded in her chest as her thoughts worked to anticipate his response.

"I want you to know that what you think of me, is important to me." she said as calmly as she could muster, "But you say things that speak with ambivalence, and I can't decipher what you want - from me." Tiamat explained, "You don't make it easy for me to read you, I can't even feel anything from you at times. It feels like a cruel game and I am the loser."

Tiamat pursed her lips as she sorted through her thoughts, her eyes breaking from Emryc, "I don't know what else I would want from you. I can't ask for anything if I did not think you could give it me." Thus it was easiest to want nothing and perhaps that was what frustrated her the most out of all the feelings of defeat, anger, and guilt. "There's a lot I can ask, or to want, but I am not going to waste time on things you would see as trivial."

She met his eyes once more and with a flicker of her fingers, the door lock clicked.

Emryc stared at her as she failed to come up with a clear response. It dawned on him that she likely had no clue what she was doing and had no grasp on any of this. His face was devoid of emotion the entire time. Silence hung between them after she was done speaking, interrupted only by the click of the door lock. It was the boldest she had ever been with him and she was purposely keeping him in place.

In that moment, she appeared closer to that girl he had met those years ago in that cantina with the bleeding nose. Whatever happened between them in this moment unraveled her entirely. He had found an errant thread, tugged it and it brought the entire stitching apart.

“Tiamat,” He said after a while, “Everything you are describing is who I am. It’s who I have always been and suddenly now you find that unacceptable,” There was no denying that he was consistent. He had always been stoic and detached, and he knew he frustrated others with how they couldn’t decipher him. Most of the time there was little to decipher. He was far more upfront with others than they gave him credit.

“Why are you so afraid to ask me plainly what you desire?” He asked, his tone flat and lacking in emotion, “If I find it trivial, I will simply let you know. Have I not always?”

He crossed his arms over his chest and leaned against the wall. He was entirely unamused by this exchange, and he despised all the dancing around topics. Emryc was a direct man and he wasn’t the best with games when it came to matters of the heart.

The silence was long enough that she felt her whole body shift with surprise that he spoke her name even as calmly as he did. However, what ate at her was the fact he was not backing down, not rejecting her outright for her outburst or leaving the topic be. He had pulled too far, and as she tried to repair what was left, it kept going, slipping from her grasp and the shadow that she had weaved into it grew in its hunger.

"Why am I so afraid? Because..." Tiamat rubbed her face and looked at the ceiling, rolling out her neck, her red hair following as a cold rushed through her body. He wasn't letting up, and now he shifted his stance to lean against the wall, waiting for her response and it would be met with a heavy chill, "Because she wants normal, but only understands pain. She wants you to cause her pain, but I know you cannot, and therefore you will draw out her suffering, Emryc Throne."

Tiamat rolled out her head again, feeling herself inhaling deeply, the yellow dissipating form her eyes, "Because I told you, what you think is important to me." she explained and shook her head, "That is why I am afraid because I don't want to let you down, or make you think that I am so pathetic and dull that I am uninteresting. She started combing her fingers through a lock of her hair.

Emryc stared at her as she spoke, noticing the shift in her demeanor. She was tapping into the part of her that was forged in the fires of the Sith. It was something he helped shape and create, and now she slipped into it likely without realizing. He could practically hear the thoughts fill in the blanks and form words that pieced together thoughts Tiamat didn’t vocalize.

The half Sephi looked at her as the yellows melted from her eyes and she spoke again. This was followed again by that hair twirling and combing gesture she had picked up rather recently. He had never seen her do any of this until this trip. Emryc’s cold, calculating eyes observed as always.

After a moment, he moved from where he was leaning and then glanced down at his chrono. Emryc looked up again, but he gazed past her and towards the opposite end of the hall. He exhaled after a while.

“You want me to tell you that I love you,” He said rather bluntly after he finished deducing every directionless sentence she had thrown at him. Emryc’s style was to collect data, parse it and then come to a calculated conclusion. This was the conclusion he had arrived at. If she was unwilling to come to an answer, he would do it for her. Just as he had always done.

Emryc said nothing more as he called his pants to his hand with the Force. With that, he stepped forth to walk down the hallway to move right past her and beyond.

She could tell he was unsatisfied with her response, but she was uncertain of what else to tell him, what else to pour out from her as she had given him every thought she had. He had unraveled her, prodded, pressed for answers and she was uncertain how to be anymore vulnerable without risking being hurt if it were to backfire. Her brow narrowed as he glanced at his chrono and exhaled, unamused by this. The simple gesture pressed her defeat into rage; she was simmering underneath, still already hot from the moments earlier, it wasn't long before she could feel her cheeks grow hot and red.

Tiamat thought she could keep it under control, but he would utter three words the hopeless romantic treasured and found his mockery appalling. She knew those words he would never mention to her; she couldn't ask for them because she truly believed it was something for him to figure out. However, she knew she could never ask for them from him because she was certain he did not feel the same way about her.

So many overwhelming feelings washed through her; the Force reverberated with the energy that seeped from the woman. She felt humiliated and belittled as though she were a child with indeed a silly tantrum. He made the assumption for her, putting words into his his narrative to make her look like a fool.

If he wanted to act like he knew her, then she would make sure he would feel every emotion and thought that tore through her own body so he could be as accurate as possible.

Emryc would call his pants to his hand but he would find they would not come as he snapped in the opposite direction and through the wall of the suite. The energies of the Force tore a path in the flooring, ripping up floorboards, tile, and cracking every piece of furniture that would cross the Sephi's path into the next room. Tiamat followed, her eyes burned brightly in the golds and oranges that suggested a soul of fire, her fingers curling into fists as she commanded her power. The Force weighed heavily on Emryc, leadening his limbs so if he wanted to know the thoughts she carried, he could begin the burden of holding such turmoil.
