Born to a pair of Devaronian doctors, Cruz’s earliest years were spent traveling the plethora of Sith controlled space. While they weren’t military doctors they accepted contracts to go where needed for corporations, military, and even private customers. While many children of the galaxy grow with heartache and strife, Crux did not experience any of it in his early years. He felt love from his parents, and it was genuine.

His earliest memories include aiding his father and mother with their practice, themselves delighted with his interest in the field of medicine. It started with fetching equipment, it before long he was performing stitches and wound care under their watchful eyes.

Neither of his parents had any force sensitivity, but his father would tell him stories of the Sith Lords. The force became a sort of mysticism to Crux, an entity that he didn’t understand but desired more information on, though the way one reads a story book. A small child looking for a way to be bigger than himself and parents as so many youths do.

His practice in his parents medical freighter while joyful was inevitably cut short. Their constant travelings would eventually cause their son to be found as force sensitive and whisked away to the academy. This was done not forcefully, but with intrigue form the boy and pride from his parents. It was a sort of naivety, as none of them knew what it was to be trained a sith.

Crux entered the academy a small and frightened Devaronian, but he exited something else. His training was brutal as so many’s is, yet it never extinguished the doctors sons revere of life. The more he learned about the darkside and the code of the Sith the stronger his convictions grew. His mistake only made once before he began to keep his thoughts to himself. The beating he had received when he postulated to a teacher that the force was a master instead of a tool nearly killed him, but to the contrary of the lesson his survival made him all the more certain.

She grew and learned about the dark side of the force, his physical body grew as well. His stature soon became matching of much larger physical beings. As for his personality, he began to denote more and more time to training and study than socialization leading him to often be on his own. His form of meditation soon became acts of physical struggle as he pushed his body harder and harder to honor the code of the strong.

Upon leaving the academy as a Sith acolyte, the small sunny youth was unrecognizable. Broad as he was tall, he became to speak little except on the powers of the force. It wasn’t long however, until the dark side revealed to him that more struggle was required for the galaxy to continue.

When the fall of Korriban happened Crux was still planet side. Utilizing his medical skills more than his combat abilities he did what he could for those around him before making his own mistake. It was specifically during this time that he formed a certain bond of survival with a few of the other escapees. His mission now is to continue his study of the dark side, and serve the empire in the way it needs......even if it is not in the way it wants.

Appearance

“I was forged in the fires of the Sith. The darkness sought a vessel, and I was filled.”

Born in the Sith empire, the dark side seemed to deem him a willing acolyte from birth. His size merely a testament to the amount he hopes to accomplish. Crux is used to wading through crowds with little doubt of who he is. Being taller and weighing significantly more than an average Devaronian stealth and subtlety have fully eluded him when entering a room. His body type is more akin to a powerlifter than a body builder, meaning while he has muscle mass he also has just mass.

His hair is a deep purple, easily mistaken for black when not under a bright light. Sprawling out from his curved horns it is often unkempt and wild. In serious times, it is most often found tied up on a top knot, though it mostly moves freely and equally wild. As for his facial hair, he keeps a trimmed beard covering most of his lower face. His skin is a deep red, though pock marked throughout his body with scars that have darkened to a more burgundy color. The only bright spots on his body are his eyes, which appear more violet with a thin gold band encircling his pupil. The horns on his head both go forward and then curve up, being longer than average. They add an additional 5in to his height.

Personality

  • “My passions? My passions are for the force…..the dark side, which leads me to the passions of life. Every moment is precious, every act to be exalted. Life is my passion, in any of the forms it takes, and nothing is a precious as that moment it is lost.”

Despite his boasting of many passions, Crux is seen as a very serious individual. His passion is for the force, to the Sith, and the pronouncement of its ideologies. Stoic and stalwart, focused on the greater evolution of his vision of what it means to follow the dark side. He maintains a level head, and looks inward for the solutions to his problems. His connections like many Sith are therefore tainted. Each individual, a tool to be used for himself, and consequently for the dark side.

His humor though often called into question, does exist all be it a dry one. By virtue of his own ideology, it can lead to him spending much time alone, though he welcomes and enjoys the company of others.

He is not kin to wrath, nor is he unquestionably vicious. Instead, in some ways he can be seen as kinder than other brothers and sisters he has trained beside. It is not a weakness, nor is it a slight to the code of the strong. Instead, he sees mercy as an opportunity. To truly embrace power you must win unquestionably. With this in mind he will only kill when one is at their best…giving the opportunity for any living creature to continue its struggle for survival, until the two forces meet at their peak.

POWERS AND ABILITIES

* Physical strength/Conditioning – Crux possess above normal physical strength and pain tolerance than an average devaronian. This is due to his physical training, and his views on life. Constantly keeping his body in a form of struggle so as to continually evolve and grow. While not the most dexterous, his endurance is difficult to match.

* Lightsaber combat - A user of Djem So, Crux learned quickly to utilize his size to his advantage. Utilizing the aggressive style, he could take opponents attacks and redirect them back, only now with his full weight behind them. Brutalizing strikes and aggression are the hallmarks of his combat style, almost entering a state of berserker when combat continues. He can get so lost in the fight it becomes difficult to distinguish friend from foe.

* Sith lore and knowledge – Constant studying and reading any Sith doctrine he has been able to get his red hands on has led to being well learned in the history of the Sith. Still an acolyte he is aware there are even greater levels of the force he has not yet learned. His primary passion is uncovering these holocrons and texts.

*Medical understanding – In his doctrine of understanding life and the struggles of life, this has led him to delve deeper into medical understanding. He has sought some training as a medic, and continues to expound on his understanding of the various forms of life and biology. He is aided by his brief time with his parents and their training.

The following are the areas Crux struggles with

* Planetary navigation/piloting – Preferring his feet firmly on the ground Crux has never been a fan of flying. Able to pilot only in the most basic of senses, for anything above getting from point A to point B he would rely on others. This continues into his combat abilities utilizing a ship. Viewing this level of combat as poor taste, he prefers things settled with a lightsaber.

* Blasters/slug throwers – In continuation with the above, the lightsaber is the only tool he views as worth using outside his bare hands. He is a terrible shot, and would prefer any other tactic than picking up a blaster

* Following orders he does not believe in – His passion and belief have led to a certain stubbornness when formal orders do not align. Outspoken he is unable to keep his thoughts and ideology to himself. In more formal occasions this has led to many issues. While capable of keeping his mouth shut when it counts, he seeks to ascertain greater power and understanding of the dark side, so he will never have to censure himself.

The above average pain tolerance can't be used as a defense in PvP, but other than that Approved!

Edit: Oh and keep in mind that his size and bulk might have some impact on his movement.
