Nar Shaddaa, Red Light Sector

nar-shaddaa-night.jpg

The Smuggler's Moon. A place where one could vanish into the putrid smoke billowing up from it's depths. A place where one could acquire anything and everything...for the right price. A place where death was a constant, only interrupted by the exchange of other illicit dealings and states of being. A place where anybody could be a nobody. A place of beginnings and endings.

But most importantly a place to start.

Start what? Well. I'm still not sure about that. I'm not sure exactly what I want to do. What path I should walk down.

I stand at a crossroads.

Descending into the belly of the beast. Was I devoured? No. I offered myself unto it. Perhaps in this place of blood, death, and decay. I myself might grow.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Vex's ship rumbled as it headed for the landing platform. The ragged salvage ship was much like it's pilot, held together with extra part. Inside the cockpit the hooded man just tried to make sure it stayed together. Despite the occasional sparking, smoke, and sounds he couldn't identify it flew rather well.

The GS-100 hovered over the platform before settling down with a groan. The man stretched lightly in the ripped chair before he starts to shut down most of the systems and lowers the ramp. His eyes flicked over the console out to the platform where he saw two figures approaching his vessel from the shadows. Closing his left eye, he gave a mental command and his cybernetic eye flicked to night vision; a Rodian and a Trandoshan. Armed. A blaster on each of their hips, the Trandoshan also has a knife on a chest strap.

Thugs. Probably here to shakedown anyone who uses this pad. Based on the clothing and lack of armor; they're small fish. Vex sighed to himself as he opened his left eye, vision returning to normal. "Lovely."

He rose from his chair and headed for the back of his ship. He walked down the ramp, tattered robes billowing in the wind, with his face still hidden within the shadows of his hood. His clawed metal feet clacking against the metal of the platform as he walked towards the two men barring the exit to the street. Vex stopped a couple of yards from them, his sword within his scabbard on his back glinting in the neon lights.

"Mah, mah. Ye wanya wata Rondo! Jeejee yoieu bai chobaso wa pineu. Cuee camai nan bai bu Miha Bapkaha bai yoieu heee cohka uba roe yoieu. Um uba lova num donohkepeu! <My, my. Look here Rondo! We get to welcome a splicer. Most people come to the Red Sector to get those parts you already got. But you seem set!>" The Rodian said to the Trandoshan, Rondo, in Huttese.

"Hmm," growled Rondo lowly. "Yessss, he seemsss ssshiny. But I'm not too interesssted in hisss looksss. The only ssshiny I'm interesssted in, isss hisss docking fee."

"Kaa tagwa! Bu cou. Da doth bu cuee lhoie kaa. Wa don keemon dokwacha phabeka hatkocanh paiha tytung bu... patka. Tagwa, mee patka. Um jeejee doth bidkahiaee uba wa bargon heoi pee see kava shiny uba doth! Nyowkee uba.<Oh yes! The fee. That is the most important thing. A thousand credits will cover all the...costs. Yes, many costs. But we are cutting you a deal because of how shiny you are! Lucky you.>"
The Rodian snickered.

"Listen. I've had a long few...years. So how about you just walk away and try your comedy act elsewhere. In return I won't hurt you. I don't have many credits, so believe me when I say you won't get a single one from me." Vex said, his voice soft; cybernetic eye shining out from his shrouded face.

The two thugs looked to one another...before they burst out laughing. The Trandoshan turned back, drawing his knife and stepping forward. Less than three feet from Vex now. "Isss that ssso? And what are you going to do to ssstop usss? You look barely held together...like that pile of poodoo you flew in on."

"Last chance."

"Ritke killee jen Rondo. Dobra day ateema an Beupa Kouuiceza gee waueoo yay du wa kouciukoee kaniaka. Jeejee caiot paknee ata bo pankpa an sakhonoo heee cohka, Jee nu la hatkocanh yoieu ten heee cuee ai wa don keemon dokwacha phabeka.<Just kill him Rondo. I'm bored now and Silk Eclipse has happy hour in a few minutes. We can take his ship and cut off those parts, I bet they will get us way more than a thousand credits.>" The Rodian whined.

"Too bad kid." Rondo leaned down in Vex's face, placing his blade against the cybernetic man's throat. "Rondo'sss bored. All you had to do wasss pay and we would have let you go. We're not unreasssonable, we're just busssinesss men. But we don't tolerate disssressspect...now...time to di-"

In the blink of an eye, Vex had drawn Fateweaver from it's scabbard and in one fluid motion swung it in a crescent arc. Slicing the Trandoshan from his left shoulder down to his right hip. The thug's eyes went wide as he stumbled back, dropped his knife, and looked at Vex; still holding his blade where he had ended his swing in front of himself. A single drop of blood fell from the tip to the platform's surface. Rondo watched his friend cough, then gurgle up blood as the wound suddenly spurt all at once, before he fell back to the ground; dead.

Vex flicked his blade to remove the blood from it and then sheathed it; the sound of the metal sliding and clicking into place seemed louder than the traffic, music, and other sounds filling the air.

Schiiiiiiiiiiing~

Looking up from the corpse, his eyes locked with the Rodian; the thug's hand trembling on his blaster. "I wouldn't recommend that. I didn't want to kill your friend. But I don't like being threatened. I'm not...unreasonable. So you get this one chance for me to let you go."

He stopped right in front of the thug.

"H-h-haku.. da naga? <W-w-what..do you want?>"

"So...where is this Silk Eclipse?"

A few minutes later Vex was rounding the corner of a nearby street, the Silk Eclipse Cantina coming into view. Bright lights and thumping bass welcomed him at the entrance. The door hissed open; smells joining the sensations. Alcohol, sweat, spice, and much more filled the air. He scanned the room, getting several glances himself before making his way to a back table. He still wasn't sure why he was here and what he was looking for, if anything.

For now? He would enjoy the music. Watch, listen, learn.

Xel sat near the back of the cantina, his entire body seemed to ache. He had just lucked out on a simple bounty. Not usually his thing, but it was worh it. 10,000 credits. He was smiling in his seat, sipping whatever he had ordered. He really did not remember what it was, but he knew it tasted pretty good for a cantina drink. When he drained the cup he set it on the table. His hair was all tied into one ponytail, unlike his usual ponytail and bangs combination. Unfortunately, Xel was hot, and he did not handle heat well in his long sleeved turtle neck amd cargo pants. Both were black, and he regretted wearing them almost as much as he was tired. Almost.

Soon enough the cantina's front door opened, and a cloaked figure walked through. A Jedi perhaps? Xel knew little about the Jedi, but he knew they often wore cloaks. But then again, why would a Jedi be off in a smugglers dump like this one? Xel stood and set his right hand on his hip. His BP01 blaster pistol was hidden in the second and larger pocket of his cargo pants. His FRAB blaster rifle was very visible on his back, and he was proud to still have it. He had obtained it and a ship long ago.

He made his way over to the cloaked figure that entered the cantina. Xel's hopes were set on finding a sniper for himself. It could help in many situations if he could get one. Besides, Xel always liked sniper rifles. His recent credit increase was more than likely enough to buy it off of anyone that was even remotley reasonable. When Xel got close enough so that he thought the cloaked person could see him, Xel waved. "Hello there. Any way that you know one could get a sniper around here?"

The Annoo-dat Prime’s nose wrinkled as the scent of refuse, decay and filth accosted his senses. He picked his way through the dark alleyway dotted with humanity that the world had forgotten. People that other people pretended did not exist. He saw a woman with tattered rags, scoop a child up as the huge beast approached. A reaction that Ra’taak was accustomed to. The Jedi came down on a bended knee, and she flinched turning a shoulder towards him. Ra’taak reached into the simple satchel strung about his waist. Taking a few credits in a taloned like claw, he placed them at her feet. She glanced at it, then spotted the hilt of his light saber peaking out from under a piece of cloth. Without a word, he stood and continued his walk.

He knew how hard it was to live in poverty and constantly have a need for want. And here, in these scuzzy places, simple kind acts actually meant something. A gesture that speaks to the unfortunate, ‘you are cared for.’ His talon like feet continued on their path. He was in search of man with information, and he knew that this individual had a habit of spending his credits on cheap booze, entertainment and the occasional lady of the night at the Silk Eclipse Cantina.

The flickering sign overhead illuminated the establishment's vestibule. He turned and his large form of bulging muscle and sinew cut through the hazy smoke and flashing light. His torso was bare, except for the midsection which was tightly bound with an off white strip of white cloth. he powerful legs were covered in a simple skirt. Though Jedi typically wore cloaks, he typically did not. Ra’taaks ice blues eyes pierced through the establishment searching for his contact. Nowhere to be found. Ra’taak would be patient and sat at booth, folding his claws upon the table.

His eyes fell upon an individual approaching another. This man raised a hand in greeting and spoke. Ra’taak couldn’t make out what was being said over the tumult of music, conversation, laughing, and what appeared to the infancy of a fight across the room. He was not here to play peace keeper. Besides, he knew that these kinds of establishments were more than capable of dealing with the rowdy, But he would wait and watch.

Vex had spotted the man with the rifle when he had first entered. He seemed to be celebrating, most likely a Bounty Hunter or a mercenary; but since he wasn't instantly recognizable he was probably small time. But that didn't mean he wasn't a threat. Never underestimate anyone at anytime. He cocked an eyebrow curiously as the man approached with a wave.

"Hello there. Any way that you know one could get a sniper around here?" The stranger asked.

The hooded man's cybernetic eye glowed from within his hood as he studied the figure, looking him up and down before answering. "Hmm. An odd question to so boldly ask a stranger. Especially on this planet, in this sector. Might get you killed faster than you'd get a gun. But as for your question? Maybe."

"You'd be amazed what you can learn when you watch and listen."
Vex flicked his eye to the large Annoo-dat Prime who seemed to be watching them for a moment. He then pointed to two Gamorreans making a ruckus at the bar, spilling drinks and punching each other playfully. "Those two at the bar, laughing and drinking with one another barely able to stand? They are celebrating the weapons shipment they just stole; saying they already have a buyer. From what I can tell they stashed them in a warehouse nearby."

"Not the brightest to talk so openly about such. But no one ever accused Gamorreans of being bright. I saw the fatter one slip a a warehouse chit into his front left pocket. Perhaps...if you want a sniper you could help me relieve them of their burden. I find myself low on funds and in need of such."
Vex leaned back and looked up at the man in front of him. Tapping his right, cybernetic hand along the table. "So like I said; maybe I can help you. But since I could do this alone and shared this information, perhaps you can share something in return."

Xel was amazed at how solemn the cloaked figure in front of him was. So stern, yet calm. It was true that Xel had made a foolish move by asking for a weapon in cantina like this one. But Xel feared not, for he had credits. Almost everyone could be bribed with credits or spice. He wasn't exactly lacking in spice either, but that wasn't something worth mentioning. He kept a small grin on his face as the figure spoke. He looked over at the two Gamorreans. When he mentioned all of this information about them, Xel wondered how he had managed to hear and see all of it, but it mattered little. Steal from a drunk alien, not the first time, but it may prove difficult. "I'm a reasonable guy. And a guy with credits. I'm sure 1,500 should be fine? Maybe more if you'd like."

Xel did believe that he could manage to break into a warehouse of weapons if there was little protection. Otherwise, he may have a problem. But the two Gamorreans didn't seem too bright, so Xel was sure that the warehouse would be lightly guarded, if it even had any protection. It would be simple, get in, find a weappn or two, get out, and then leave the planet before anyone was the wiser. Simple right? Hopefully ten years of training would pay off.

His gaze passed over the folded talons he was steepling, past passing patrons and waiters carrying trays of drinks. Past the haze of the bar and the flashing lights. His bright eyes caught a detail. A cybernetic eye. The thick head tilted and Ra'taak blinked as they eyes scanned the individual. Through the tattered robes he caught glimpses of more cybernetic......where these enhancements? He wasn't sure. Cybernetic technology was fairly new, and to see an individual with so many was a vary curious indeed. He felt that old nudge. The one he had been trained to temper. Satiate curiosity when the environment was free of potential threats.

He pulled his gaze away and watched a Twi'lek gracefully dance up on a platform. Her moves were trance like, captivating the attention of many of the patrons in the bar. Ra'taak changed his gaze and focused on the rowdy Gamorreans for a few moments. They were a boisterous bunch, be he found himself wondering where his contact was? Perhaps he was around, but in hiding. He closed his eyes and extended his will into the Force.

In a halo in his minds eye, he could see an individual across the bar laughing and talking. No this wasn't it... It switched to a group at the back of the room, squabbling over some casted lots. No. He then saw the men ogling over the dancer. He shook his head. Next, tt was the young man with the cybernetics. He couldn't make out the details. Something about a service to be rendered and the exchange of credits.

He opened his eyes. Such things were common in places like this. It matter not to him. Yet that nagging sensation pulled at him. He wanted to learn more about this individual.

"I'm a reasonable guy. And a guy with credits. I'm sure 1,500 should be fine? Maybe more if you'd like."

"Hmm, are you? You're the second person to tell me that since I've landed here. How reasonable you are." He said softly with a bemused tone. "Twenty-five hundred. And you can have your pick of whatever we might find. The rest is mine. I think this deal is more than fair considering I could have kept all this to myself no?"

Vex once again picked up the large being's gaze. That Annoo-dat Prime. He got that feeling. Jedi or Sith I wonder? Neither perhaps.

Turning his attentions back to the bounty hunter in front of him, he continued. "Do we have an accord?"

Xel was uncertain of the presumed man's answer when they told him of another who had said they were also reasonable. Was Xel not the only person looking for an easy score on weapons? Either way, it didn't matter. He'd get what he wanted, and so would the cloaked figure in front of him. Xel caught a glimpse of something shiny on the figure's face. It didn't bother Xel, nor would he ask. He wanted to keep his deal in place.

Xel produced several credit chips from his pocket. He oustretched his arm with the credits in hand towards the figure. The chips glimmered in the dim light of the cantina as people wandered around, a few eyed the shiny credit chips. "2,500 as asked. Now I'll take care of getting access to where we need to be right?"

Xel made a motion with his head towards the two Gamorreans. His black bangs waved around on his face and fell back down to below an inch below his chin. Xel was now visibly happy and wanted to get the easy part done with. If this thing was going to help in his enterance to the warehouse in question, then it should be smooth sailing. But of course, this could all be a death trap. Xel would take his chances most every time something happened.

Ra'taak blinked his blue eyes again. It had dawned on him that any exchange of credits was due to an exchange of information. He convinced himself that he should approach the youth with the cybernetics. If only to pump information. Who knew?

The table groaned under the heavy weight as the muscular Annoo-dat Prime pushed himself up. He sidestepped around the table with his powerful tail sweeping low in his wake. Ra'taak cut across the establishment with ease.

He stood before the two men, shoulders back; tilting his head slightly he spoke. The voice low, growly, yet surprisingly soft.

"Am I interrupting?"

The stranger produced several credit chips from his pocket. He outstretched his arm with the credits in hand towards Vex. The chips glimmered in the dim light of the cantina as people wandered around, a few eyed the shiny credit chips. "2,500 as asked. Now I'll take care of getting access to where we need to be right?"

"Bold again. To produce credits so blatantly in a place like this. Might get you mugged or killed. I can't determine whether your brave or just foolish. Perhaps a bit of both no? No offense intended." Vex chuckled softly, flicking his eyes to the man now rising from the table after watching them for so long. He casually watched the Annoo-dat Prime approach, studying him.

"Am I interrupting?"

Soft spoken, muscular. Yet doesn't use his size, voice, or shadow to physically intimidate; he in fact tempers all of those aspects of his being to instead avoid such. Either he is a very clever and sadistic Sith. Or. He's a former Jedi. Perhaps he's like me. Unaffiliated. Leaning back, one hand on the table, he drummed his cybernetic fingers. His glowing eye zoomed in and out, then flicked to the bounty hunter. "Go handle our access, if you please."

"And no...you aren't interrupting. How may I help you?"

Xel hadn't thought very much of the dangers of showing off so many credits in a cantina. The mere thought of obtaining new weaponry was overwhelming. Though Xel did make many mistakes like that often. He nodded when the cybernetically enhanced figure mentioned Xel's part. Like he thought, steal an access key to a warehouse from drunken criminals. Should be easy enough right?

Xel tilted his head to see the strange creature that had approached them. Xel's eyes immediately fell to the creatures waist to look for weapons. There it was. A lightsaber. Jedi or Sith? Hopefully the first of the two, for they would not interfere with random people's business without a good reason. Or at least, that's what Xel has been told. He turned on his heel and slowly made his way closer to the Gamorreans. He still had no clue how he would go about getting the chit. Xel didn't wanted to start a fire fight in the cantina, and he had no knives or anything of the sort. A swift set of kills with his bare fists would do it then. He was a few feet away from his targets when he thought his plan over. It wasn't ideal, but it would have to do. Xel untied his hair and returned it to his usual ponytail with bangs. He rolled up his shirt sleeves and approached the Gamorreans.

Ra'taaks ice blue eyes fell upon the curious nature of the bounty hunter. The turtleneck, cargo pants all must have been terribly hot and uncomfortable. He took special note of the large rifle strapped to the back. It was a fine piece of weaponry. He perked a brow when he saw the man glance at his partially exposed light saber. Without drawing more attention to it the Annoo-dat Prime pulled at a flap of and tucked the saber back under.

"Best you not make too much trouble." The tone was level and quiet as he watched him turn and make his way to the Garmorreans. He mused as the man rolled up his shirt sleeves. Obviously he meant business.

"And no...you aren't interrupting. How may I help you?"

Ra'taak's four eyes then flickered back to the curious cyborg and nodded once. He felt the Force was with this youth. Why he hadn't picked up on this before worried the large beast. But he was committed. A large clawed hand laid on the table and he thrust it forward. Under a lifted finger, credit chips glittered and sparked in the dim light.

"You look like the type who would keep a finger on the pulse of this establishment." Again the voice was low and soft. The credits were offered, hopefully he would have some information.

"You look like the type who would keep a finger on the pulse of this establishment." Said the Prime, offering credits just as the bounty hunter had before him.

Vex chuckled. "My, my. I didn't expect to met so many brave, foolish, or both people in one night. You do realize you are on Nar Shaddaa the Smuggler's Moon in one of the worst districts yes? Flashing credits so brazenly will only get you mugged, killed, or worse. But...let's say I do have information. What kind might interest you?"

"A Jedi hmm?"
He said softly so only he and the stranger could hear in the noise of the cantina. His glowing eye zoomed in and out, seemingly scanning the man as he too had noticed the lightsaber earlier.

Meanwhile, at the bar. The two Gamorreans were only getting louder and more rowdy as they grew drunker. The larger one seemed to start singing...horribly, something that no one in the galaxy could possibly make out. The security chit for the warehouse was just barely poking out of a greasy pocket on his chest.

Xel left the two behind him to talk about whatever they were to talk about. His mind was not on discussion, but on the task at hand. Xel examined both Gamorreans and noticed his main target in the chest pocket of the larger Gamorrean. His singing was terrible, but it may help in a way. Xel slipped closer and closer to the two aliens. A thought apleared in his mind and he turned left and went around the two stealthily, making sure to be as casual as possible. When he was behind them his plan was to go into action. Once Xel within only three feet of the two, he quickly grabbed both of their heads and smashed them together with all the might his thin body could muster. Once done he slipped his hand into the pocket that held his BP01 and extraced it, holding it at waist level.

"...Flashing credits so brazenly will only get you mugged, killed, or worse."

Ra'taak was taken back by this statement. Perhaps the youth was testing him? But the Annoo-dat Prime kept a stoic expression hitched to his reptilian face.

I had the credits face down on the table with my palm over them. Could this be the brazen display he is talking about? Surely in a place like this.... Ah, I should not have involved credits. Ra'taak chastised himself.

He thought about the Jedi question as his gaze turned back to the bounty hunter trying his luck with the Gamorreans. His blunted nose wrinkled for a moment before returning his attention to the cyborg. The next words he spoke were measured.

"Places which harbor more of the unscrupulous lot; places like these are not accustomed to clandestine transactions?" The great head tilted again, the hard eyes gazing with harsh intention into the cyborg's. "I'm looking for an individual. Goes by the name of Merrak Gudii." He kept his heavy claw on the money.

"People are always watching. Always. At least three sets of eyes saw what you have hidden under that great claw. Do be more careful in the future." Vex said softly, casting his gaze about; falling onto the Gamorreans. He frowned slightly as he saw the man walk up and smash their heads together. Lovely. Is he trying to start a brawl?

"Places which harbor more of the unscrupulous lot; places like these are not accustomed to clandestine transactions?" The great head tilted again, the hard eyes gazing with harsh intention into Vex's. "I'm looking for an individual. Goes by the name of Merrak Gudii."

"Of course they are. But generally a corner table or backroom. As for the man you seek? Well. I have heard the name Merrak mentioned. But first. What do you want with or from him?" The cybernetic man questioned; unaffected by the four eyed gaze drilling down at him.

Back at the bar, the two Gamorrean thugs were temporarily silenced by their heads being slammed together. But of course...their species did have hard bones and harder skulls. While the bounty hunter was able to palm the security chit from the greasy pocket. He now had a bigger problem and an even bigger problem as both of the thugs growled, regaining their vision and placing their axes in each hand. Grunting and growling they closed in on the small human.

Xel frowned and thought to himself, I was really hoping that knocking their heads together and their being drunk would have them out cold... Oh well... Xel unloaded the clip of his BP01 into the two boar-like aliens. Xel had never come face to face with Gamorreans, so he was not quite aware that their bones were so thick. He imagined them having an overall larger skeletal structure, but not quite so much larger. Worst case scenario he would blow the cantina to rubble, like the leader of the Kjlljk Protectorate did on their first encounter. Also a scenario where he was obtaining a weapon. That weapon was the FRAB blaster rifle on his back. He had two spares on his enourmous freighter.

Though the situation looked bleak, Xel hoped that silencing the singing of the larger Gamorrean would result in a little less violence in the cantina, specifically towards him. But of course, it was full of drunken smugglers, pirates, and small-time bounty hunters. It would likely end with quite a few casualties.

Xel managed to get a peek at his cloaked business partner and the large reptilian alien that stood across from him as Xel fired his ten year old blaster pistol.

"I see what you mean..." Ra'taak's attention turned back to the bounty hunter who was starting a brawl with the pig like people. He watched the heads smack together, then turn. What happened next surprised the Jedi. A blaster was pulled out and unload a clip of bolts into the boars. Things were escalating quite rapidly.

This wasn't his fight. The bounty hunter would have to deal with the consequences he created for himself. "It would seem this discussion will have to placed on hold until a more quiet venue can be secured." Ra'taak stood, arms folded facing the fray, if only to watch, or defend himself if needed.

Word had reached the Inquisition of a possible Jedi sighting on the world of Nar Shadda. The environment of Nar Shadda wasn't an environment typically thought of as attractive to Jedi ideals.

Still, Nar Shadda was very close in proximity to the heart of the Sith Empire. For this reason the Inquisition had sent the Priest known as Scream to the world of Nar Shadda.

His primary objective was to determine whether or not there was a Jedi operating on Nar Shadda. If so, he was to inform the Inquisition and await further instructions. The ever ambitious Scream intended to try and kill any Jedi present, however. After informing the Inquisition. He was eager to prove himself.

His secondary objective was to preach to the people of Nar Shadda, try to convince them to embrace the ways of the Sith. He felt this shouldn't be too difficult a task after the Jedi was either discovered or proven false.

Scream landed his Sith Sabre star fighter on a public landing pad and began to travel into the notorious red light district. It was here that many deals were made, and Scream knew this place was mathematically most likely to yield a Jedi.

How low the mortal enemies of the Sith must have sunk to seek aide here. Nar Shanda was the embodiment of everything they claimed to be against, and everything the Sith valued.

Scream began to feel a little encouraged by his surroundings,. "People of Nar Shadda," he said, "hear me. Now is the time to embrace the might and power of the Sith Empire! They have taken up the mantle of bringing unity and knowledge to our great Galaxy. The Sith uphold the values of people like those of Nar Shadda. Your rights will be upheld and you will be protected under the might of the glorious Sith Empire! Join us of your own free will and preserve your way of life, and this beautiful place."

Just then, several beings began to flee from some establishment. Interesting, Scream thought to himself. He began to make his way toward the building with xpc in hand. Perhaps, this mission would be worthwhile after all.

Caramon had walked into a local junk dealer shop. It was the same as every other one he had visited. Scrap parts everywhere, worker droids roaming around cleaning or building. A very fat Twi'lek female walked out from behind the counter as the Jedi entered. From her appearance, time had not been kind to this woman. Her face was riddles with wrinkles. 'Maybe she took over the place when her husband died' Caramon thought to himself, never seeing a female junker before. Yelling at a couple droids to work faster as she walked towards her potential custer, she stuck out her hand. Caramon embraced her gesture.

"Hello ma'm. I know this may sound a little weird but seeing as how a lot of people seem to visit this establishment in need of something or other, I was wondering if you could help me out with a little information."

The older woman cocked an eyebrow at the Jedi as she listened to him.

"Im not in the business of information, but maybe for a fee, I can help you out."

Caramon reached into his belt pouch that he kept on him at all times. Grabbing a handful of of credits Caramon handed them to the woman. She held out her hand as the Jedi placed the credits in her palm. She counted the credits and placed them into her pouch that was draped across her side.

"Who is it you seek"

"Im looking for an individual that goes by the name Merrak Gudii."

She turned on her heels and walked away.

"He was here a less than a week ago."

Caramon raised his hand in protest to get some more information but knew it was useless and was going to cost him more then he had already spent. As Caramon started to make his way to the door he could hear the panic and terror that was taking place outside. Reaching out with the force he could feel a presence, but not just anyone. All he felt from this being was evil. Not wanting to make himself known just yet he stopped and listened to what was said, or as much as he could through a closed door.

The only words that Caramon could make out were Sith, Nar Shadaa, embrace the Empire. Caramon's eyes flew open and he knew that he needed to get word to Ra'taak as the two were there on a mission together. Not carring about pissing off the shop owner Caramon ran through the establishment, knocking over this and that as he hurled himself out of the back entrance. Finally outside, people were screaming and running in all directions due to this evil newcomer.'Well I shouldnt be alarmed. Look where we are' Caramon thought to himself as he rounded the corner. Using the alleyway for cover, Carmon ran, trying not to run into anyone as he made his way to his comrade.

Caramon stopped after running for a bit and reached out with the force, touching the mind of his brother in arms Ra'taak. 'Ra'taak, we need to finish this. A Sith has arrived.'
