Create a Republic?

This is a poll to see if creating a Republic board is worth the effort or not.

If you are impartial to whether you want the board created, just ask yourself:

If you were Jetzt, and you had noone to consult, would you make the Republic a board?

It would probably mainly consist of the military, with the government also added. Like the Jedi section, with the Republic Council being like the Jedi Council, and the military being training, missions, etc. etc.

yes make it, jedi are not soilders and are not fit to command armies. But the possability of my character joining it... well just settle for what you can and move on.

I think that would be a good idea. Perhaps people could be "elected" senators and whatnot. I think that could work. Would there be a Supreme Chancellor? I wouldn't join, but only because I have 2 characters already (unless the lovely staff here would give me permission to make a Republic soldier... :4: ).

Yes and maybe, the republic should be a larger faction then the jedi, it only makes since. But I guess we should take it one step at a time. :33:

If you choose to state your opinion can you please explain why and not just "No and no." Yes I think a Republic faction would be good, they won't really be doing much in the large scale war side as all major battles will the NPCed but meh, they will fill a gap.

Yes the republic faction is a good idea, it means that people wont have to create there own small faction and operate kinda in limbo - they could operate insted within the Republic.

And yes my primary character might decide to be a politician.....

plus, I think with a "Republic", it could give the Jedi ORder someone to work with. The Senate could come and ask for help settling disputes, etc. I think it would give a bit more depth to the RPs.

I like the thought of a Republic board, but I couldn't join because I have two characters already.
