Narri stepped from the freighter happily, looking about the environment curiously, ready for the final payoff she'd been waiting for. She stopped suddenly however, fully taking in the....colorful surroundings with raised eyebrows. Wow....had she hit up her celebratory spice stash already? Narri sniffed her own breath curiously, preforming a mental self check on her senses. Hmmm, no unreasonable happiness or blurring of her vision, no talking plants. Was this planet actually real then? UGH, She hated it already, though thankfully she wouldn't have to be here long.

Sighing and trying to blot out the spice hype plants, Narri turned to the soldier who had accompanied her, Gunner Stahl. "Are you ready to go? Got all your weapons and stuff?" The sight of his many cybernetic limbs made her wince partly, as it reminded her of her own recent addition that was her left arm. The leg...it had been easy to ignore, especially if she wore pants. But the new factory line prosthetic reminded her of itself with almost every movement. The sight of it still brought a rush of anger, it was good S'kar hadn't volunteered to come this time. Not that she blamed him...it had been a battle and Narri had intended the same. But logic didn't always trump rage.

Today was a happy day though, she was finally going to get her own pet Acklay. According to the now leaderless Apex Hunters, they had lost a shipment recently here on Felucia. A mother and a batch of eggs, who judging by the last transmissions, had broken free and killed the crew. Those eggs were their target, though they'd likely have to kill the parent first. That was why she'd come with all her usual weapons and armor, she still had a few bruises from the encounter with an injured one. Straightening her red lekku, the Twi'lek grabbed up her helmet and put it on, looking about for the very distinctive track of an Acklay.

Gunner had decided to accompany his friend Narri on this endeavor, though he himself didn't understand what the big deal with an animal was. If Narri needed companionship so much, she should have gotten a nice puppy or maybe churn out a few babies. A light snicker came to his lips as he readied his armaments and loaded the golden blaster at his side along with preparing the ammunition for his signature devastator rifle. The ebony armor looked good on him, despite the cybernetic eye and arm attachment that had been added since his punishment. Regardless, he was prepared to handle any threats that would befall the two hunters for today.

"Yes, seems like that. Let's go get you that damn Acklay". He smirked, nudging the twi'lek playfully at her side as he loaded the coordinates into his datapad from their rendezvous with the Apex Hunters and allowed the duo to track the shipment better on Felucia.

Narri stopped and shot the man a look of surprise when he nudged her, raising an eyebrow quizzically. Huh, that had been a bit unexpected, most people were too antsy to dare touching her like that. Then again, she HAD been spending quite a bit of time with Gunner lately, him helping her with multiple things. And he was someone she might classify as a friend she supposed. Narri shrugged and waved it off, turning her focus towards the task at hand. She looked briefly at her data pad for the location and then started off, drawing a pistol and holding it at her side just in case. They were supposed to be close to where the shipment had gone astray, or so she'd intended at least.

Luckily she'd succeeded, and a few minutes travel found them looking at a desolate ship in the middle of the clearing. Getting closer, they could see the huge hole in the side, and several rotting corpses scattered about. One such fool, a Zeltron by the look of it, had literally been torn in two, with over five meters separating the halves. Narri cast an approving glance around the bloodstained area, this was the place alright. Now just to look for tracks and see where their quarry had gone. Bending down slightly near the most prominent corpse, she scanned the ground for the signature tracks left by an Acklay.

Sure enough there they were, slightly faded dents in the dirt that moved off into the distance. Narri pointed them out to Gunner carefully as she stood. "Here they are, and not to old either. Shouldn't take too long to catch up hopefully if we follow them closely."

Well the Twi'lek was certainly pretty cute, there was nothing to contest that. Perhaps after they were done with this mission, they'd go celebrate at the local tavern and try some of that casual tryst that youngins had been talking about these days. In either case though, for now, it was time to concentrate on the task at hand. Gunner followed Narri as she narrowed the location with her datapads, slowly coming into a view of what appeared as a tribe of Acklays waiting for the plucking. They were interesting creatures to say the least, though not cute enough for him to keep as a pet but perhaps the Sith had other plans.

Drawing his stun blaster, he readied a shot as well as grabbed the large netting they had brought to capture the prey. "So, how do you want to nab this one?"

It was indeed a thankfully short walk, especially when they had tracks to follow. Slowly, they came into view of a cluster of creatures on a plain, surrounded by colorful mushroom trees. The tracks were leading right to them. Proceeding forward a little farther, her suspicions were confirmed. They were Acklays, a small herd of them, mostly young ones. Huh, momma had been busy apparently, hopefully there were a few eggs left unhatched. If not well...Narri could see a couple particularly small ones among them, those ones she could maybe make do with.

Stepping forward to look them over, she turned to respond to Gunner. That's when a loud screech echoed forth, and Narri returned her gaze to the herd. Two Acklays were charging right towards them, one far larger than the other. Ah, well apparently Mamma and her number one child had spotted them. Narri drew her blaster and smirked to Gunner, speaking quietly as she looked at them. "Well....I think we should start by killing those two....wow they're fast."

Indeed they were, the two had already covered half the distance. The larger one was gradually pulling ahead too, still screeching up a storm. For a moment, Narri had a vision of riding such a thing into battle, how epic would that be? @Faded Truth
