So, last timeline I exclusively played Indie and Hutt Cartel characters, with the exception of one very strange Jedi who did no PVP and didn't know most of the usual force powers.

I've recently become very interested in Sith, just in general, everything about them. One of the things that always really interested me about them was when a Jedi kinda "lost it" and let their emotions flow. Not a Jaesa Williams level of cliche, but just a Padawan or Knight who through some kind of upheaval decided the Sith were superior philosophically.

How could I go about having that done? I'd like to RP it somehow, a thread where they were 'corrupted' as it were.

I see how this would cause issues because if they are a Jedi they need to be in the faction, but immediately going Sith so... See the issue? If anybody has done this or knows how it would work that'd be greatly appreciated. Note that my heart isn't set on this, just concept stuff so if it doesn't work thats cool.

I'm pretty sure you can just make a Sith and get Bauren's permission for the backstory (which he does anyway for any faction character that had a backstory in the Jedi). Then since the timeline's fluid you can do a flashback RP with someone. Unfortunately my characters aren't exactly suited for the task of converting somebody, but i'm sure someone else can help ye there.

I am also curious to know how this can be done. Ive had an idea for a similar design where the jedi padawan's master was killed and the grief of that death combined with the shame of being stuck in limbo while the Jedi find the character a new master is enough to send him down a darker path and to go rogue in search of perhaps a stronger master than what he might find among the Jedi.

Bauren will probably ask that you ixnay the Jedi Master dying, perhaps find another stigma for the change instead. There's a lot of people who try and go that angle already. And when NPC Jedi Master bodies start piling up it kind of ruins the idea that the Jedi are supposed to be crusading, combat-ready badasses against Sith who aren't even at their full power.
