PRIMARY EXPORT(S)

Agriculture
Due to the temperate and moderate climates of Corellia, the planet is ripe for all sorts of agriculture. Being one of the historical tenants of the Corellian economy agriculture dominates the rural areas of Corellia. Over the years Corellia has become one of the breadbaskets of the galaxy, providing a broad range of foodstuffs to the the galaxy as a whole. Corellian agriculture projects range from standard foods, like bread, corn, and meats, to more exotic fruits and spices.
Alcohol

Another of Corellia's core exports is Alcohol. Brewed fresh from Corellian Wheat, and other ag products, Corellian Alcoholic dominates bars across the galaxy. From Corellian Star, one of the finest wines in the galaxy, to Corellian Ale, one of the most commonly consumed ales across the galaxy & found on tap in every dive bar or fine establishment galaxy wide, Corellia corners the market when it comes to alcoholic production.
Manufacturing / Starships

While Agriculture is an important part of the Corellian economy, the real support of the entire economy rests in Manufacturing and Engineering. Corellia has always been considered to be at the forefront of innovation and export in manufactured goods, and starship engineering. Corporations like CEC (Corellian Engineering Corporation), and C-Labs continue to progress, sitting atop the bleeding edge of innovation and design. Corellian designed products come in a variety of affordable, and top of the line, and every flavor in between.
IMPORT(S)

Raw Materials
For all its might in manufacturing, Corellia is rather lacking as far as resources go. Having no considerable sized deposit of any valuable resources.
Luxury

Corellia, a titan at manufacturing large goods, lacks so when it comes to luxury and fine items. Luxurious items for its elite echelon are some of the top imported items to the planet.
Weaponry

Similarly, Corellia is good at producing large war machines, but smaller hand held weapons are imported.

Founding
Records are not kept well enough to indicate how humans came to be on Corellia. Early records indicate the world was discovered by early core discoverer, Allaya Sayyah. Sayyah was in charge of an expedition to colonize and explore the core, in the early days of space travel. When she arrived there were already humans on-planet, alongside Drall and Selonia. The planet's inhabitants had built a relatively advanced society for themselves. Having already established the ability to put objects in space, and having recently discovered repulsor craft, the planet was a budding center of design and manufacturing. Shocked at the discovery of extraterrestrial life, the Corellians accepted Sayyah and her team with open arms. The team soon learned the history and dynamics of Corellia, including the division of nation states, Coren, Dorasai, Cas, Tyren, and Foura. Coren, Tyren, and Foura all presided on the primary continent, with Cas and Dorasai each controlling one of the smaller continents respectively. Coren controlled the eastern portion of the Continent, and Foura the Central portion with Tyren controlling the western portion of the continent.

Federation
The early core worlds formed what what was known as the Federation, a group of equal planets in a coalition to trade and expand across the galaxy. As each of these were wary of newfound extraterrestrials, tensions were high and shared knowledge was limited. Corellia in particular had a difficult time dealing with the federation, as the nation states couldn't agree on a proper way of handling relations. Being the nation where Sayyah and her team landed, Coren handled most of the relations between Corellia and the Federation, much to the ire of the other nation states.

Corellian Civil War
Tensions reached an all time high when Coren signed a trade agreement with the Federation, bringing in extraterrestrial technology to support their infrastructure and design teams, excluding all other nations except Cas. A summit was held in the neutral city of Bela Vistal, where the other nation states attempted to demand that Coren and Cas give in and share their imports. Denying the requests, the summit was cancelled and hostilities rose to an all time high.

All was lost when a Corenian trade vessel dipped too low, entering Tyren airspace, and was subsequently shot down by Tyrenian combat speeders. Taken as a hostile action, Coren deployed their land armies against Tyren, marching over the pacifist and agricultural nation of Foura. The war that ensued was brutal, and when it ended in a cease fire, Coren and Tyren had completely annexed Foura, and split it across the center of what had once been the nation state. Meanwhile, a naval and air war had been fought between Cas and Dorasai, with Cas dominating the inferior armies of Dorasai and occupying the third continent. At the end of the war hostilities were over, but borders were rigid and tense, and relations were practically non existent.

Federation War
Roughly 15 years after the Corellian Civil War the Federation broke into an infighting war, pitting member states against member state. It was during this time, while Corellia was facing heavy attack from other member states, that the three remaining states held the second Bella Vistal Accord, and opted to unify into one nation of Corellia, and open borders. The citizens were wary, and tensions were high at first, as each state was nervous of this proposal, but upon surviving the war with little to no planetary damage they began rebuilding as a unified society.

Growth and Expansion
In the centuries after the Federation war Corellia saw inter-planetary governments rise and fall, and joined most of them, but retained her independence throughout all of it. These years saw Corellia fall into the rule of a Monarchy. Grand dynasties with centuries of rule marked their claim on Corellia, some investing in extravagant palaces, while others lived more modestly and invested in social issues. Manufacturing facilities were largely moved to orbital facilities, with few cities maintaining large manufacturing industries. The Corellian Engineering Corporation was founded and grew to be the richest company on the planet, and one of the chief starship manufacturers in the galaxy. Corellia grew to be one of the highest populous centers in the galaxy, competing with Chandrilla behind Coruscant. Corellia saw many more wars fought, but felt little impact from each of them. Between the economic necessity of their support to any government, and CorSec's ability to defend against attack wars hardly reached the surface of the planet.

Dawn of the Republic
After a series of warring and division, peace talks began to forge something out of the ashes. These talks would ultimately lead to the formation of the Republic, a body unifying these distant worlds in trade and law, but leave each world independent and strong. During the formation of the Republic, Corellia was vital, economically supporting and aiding the formation, as well as donating funds and supplies to the construction of the Rotunda. Throughout the Republic, even during crisis, Corellia continued to be a loyal supportive member of the Republic, earning her spot as one of the longest standing member worlds. Around the formation of the Republic Corellia saw a governmental shake up. Having been ruled by a monarchy, protesters and social activists successfully overthrew the monarchy and elected a democratic government, based out of Coronet.

Sith War
The Sith war was the first war in centuries to carry a large impact on Corellia. Caring little for economic infrastructure or manufacturing capabilities, the Sith waged brutal war against Corellia once they reached the Core. Being a Southern Core world, Corellian was less impacted by the war than planets such as Chandrilla, or Coruscant, but still her cities and drive yards were ravaged. CorSec was able to keep the Sith largely away from Coronet, though the great central farm lands were impacted with fighting, and it took years to get the last remnants of the Sith from the mountain caves.

Modern Corellia
Having rebuilt the damage sustained during the Sith war, Corellia cherished her spot as one of the most powerful worlds in the galaxy. Following several alleged acts of misconduct, former Senator Aren Krass faced mounting pressure to enact reform that reduce the amount of authority any one person could have over the Corellian government. Selling large amounts of stocks in Corellian corporations and disbanding the leadership council known as the Directorate, the political instability resulted in the financial stability of Corellia suffering somewhat as a result. Aren Krass was assassinated shortly after, prompting the election of a new Senator.

The Government is comprised of a senate, headed up by a Chancellor. There is a Judicial branch, as well as an Executive branch headed by a Prime Minister. This Prime Minister can serve an unlimited number of 8 year terms, and works directly underneath the Chancellor in a system of balances where they are not allowed an abundance of control. The Prime Minister also serves as the Senator to the Republic.

Corellians have basic rights such as the freedom of speech, freedom to religion, right to speedy trial, protection from unrightful search and seizure, right to not self incriminate, along with others.

CorSec
CorSec is a renowned law enforcement agency operating across Corellia. Their officers operate as part of the government's judicial department, along with members such as judges and attorneys, whoa re not part of CorSec.A division of CorSec works directly under the offices of the Chancellor and the Prime Minister, as well as going through the Director of CorSec. These officers act as security for elected officials, and all security orders issued by these officials are approved through the office of the Director. This keeps elected officials from abusing their security details.

[beebox3=85%]
A strong belief of many Corellians is that of the Founders. For centuries it was a religion of the Corellians, but in more modern times many have adopted it as a historical fact. The belief is that a group of technologically advanced founders, or a group of celestial beings, depending whether it is believed to be divine, or scientific, aligned the very planets in the Corellian system. No scientific evidence of this has been found, save for the fact that the planetary alignment of the system is absolutely perfect, with no world or moon being too close, or with the slightest drift. Despite this, some even doubt the existence of the founders, and believe that the system was naturally formed. The Corellians as a society are rather conservative people. They stick to a more traditional social standard, and believe in big business, trickle down politics. Of course, groups that disagree with these policies exist, though they are outnumbered by those that agree.

Corellia is a very technologically advanced world. Coronet is a central hub in the galaxy, where the latest technological advancements are implemented and displayed in daily use. As one gets farther from coronet, into more rural or rustic areas, technology is less on the bleeding edge, but still highly advanced. There are portions of Corellia that are low tech and unconnected, though these are sparse and are slowly dwindling down.

Coronet City, Corellia
The Jewel of Corellia

Coronet city is the capital of Corellia. It is among the biggest and most advanced cities on the planet. Coronet is found on the eastern coast of Corellia's primary continent. Coronet features heavily industrialized areas, as well as urban sky scrapers, residential districts, parks, and world class beaches.

Coronet city also featured the only Imperial Class Space Port on the planet. A hub of commerce, trade, and travel, Crown Space port stands proud in the western portion of Corellia hosting a wide variety of beings. Many beings first introduction to Corellia is through the gleaming halls of Crown. Security is tight in the space port, scrutinizing immigrants and travelers. Crown also has a private docking area, with lessened security, and increased privacy... for a price.

Kor Vella

Kor Vella, Corellia
Kor Vella is a quieter city, though still quite urban. Located west of Coronet on a tall mesa, it is a medium sized population center, with a aesthetic geared more towards older times, and peace. Home to a standard sized space port, Kor Vella Starport, it is a hub for tourist activity. Long before Corellians had known of extraterrestrial life, Kor Vella was an adventurers attraction, with the hike to reach the city being treacherous and not for the faint of heart. With easy transit now, the city is a buzzing populous center, with the natural trek to reach the city still attracting the attention of historical, or adventurous, travelers.

Doaba Guerfel

Doaba Guerfel, Corellia
Located in the Nomad Mountains of Corellia, west of Coronet and 50 kilometers west of Kor Vella, Doaba Guerfel is a serene city. Comprised of many aesthetically pleasing high rises and sky scrapers, along with luxurious housing and resorts. Doaba Guerfel is one of the newest cities on Corellia. Up until the invention of reliable repulser travel, the Nomad Mountains were almost impossible to settle. Doaba Guerfel has long been accused of being an elitist establishment, setting prices and accommodations so high that only the upper echelon can afford it.

resort_by_blinck-d4llgvr.jpg

Doaba Guerfel has long had the finest resorts and relaxation locations on the planet. Specializing in high end luxury and pleasure, Doaba Guerfel has spent a small fortune importing luxury items from across the galaxy, as well as hiring experts and the finest staff money could buy to design and operate their hotels, spas, resorts, and other attractions.

Bela Vistal

Bela Vistal, Corellia
Bella Vistal is one of the smallest population centers on all of Corellia. Located in the same Nomad mountains as Doaba Guerfel, Bella VIstal finds itself in a slightly more accessible area of the range. Comprised of small rustic and quaint homes, Bela Vistal has no space port. Most all commodities, housing, and other arrangements in Bella Vistal are cheap, and it is a frequent tourist destination of tourists on a low budget.

Kolene

abandoned_mining_facility_by_tomedwardsconcepts-d68zej3.jpg

Kolene, Corellia
Kolene was, at its prime, a hub of expansion and activity. Founded as a mining city around what was believed to be a lucrative cluster of carvanium veins, it was later discovered the veins were an isolated occurrence, and no others were known of in the area, or across the planet. By the time the discovery was made, permanent infrastructure had already been built upon the city. It remains the home of many old timey citizens. Mining operations continue to this day in Kolene, excavating massive quarries to attempt to find other veins of ore. As of yet, no veins have been found. Within the last century the Kolene miners found a way to extract small quantities of carvanium, as well as other important ores, from the soil, and refine them. That is now their primary operation, and source of income.

Tyrena

Tyrena, Corellia
A true bastion of capitalism, luxury, and entertainment, Tyrena is the second largest population center, behind Coronet. Boasting the Golden Beaches, as well as the the finest resorts, spas, casinos, and other entertainment and relaxation venues outside of Doboa Guerfel. Tyrena features a wide variety of settings, from the upscale high rises, to lower income residential areas, ridden with crime. Underground Tyrena exists the largest illicit entertainment complex, including everything from spice rings, to illegal casinos, to sentient trafficking.

Golden Beaches
Tyrena, Corellia

One of the largest attractions in all of Tyrena are the Golden Beaches. Located on the western coast of the primary continent, the golden beaches are largely regarded as the finest beaches on the planet, and by some, the galaxy. With sparkling blue waters, and rich soft sandy beaches, the Golden Beaches are the top tourist attraction on Corellia. Tyrena hosts a Stellar Class Space Port, Anchorhead Port, that services both Tyrena, the Golden Beaches, and many of the surrounding towns.

Fouran

Fouran, Corellia
Fouran is the capital of the agricultural sector, comprising most of the midlands of Corellia's primary continent. The city is set around sprawling fields of crops, with buildings housing artificial groweries meant to grow smaller easy to grow food stuffs in their enclosed facilities. Few besides those who work here, live in Fouran. Most that do tend to be the farming type.

Crescant City

Crescant City, Corellia
Crescant City is the manufacturing titan of Corellia. One of the few locations where terrestrial manufacturing facilities still exist, rather than orbital manufacturing complexes. Crescant City finds its pride in still making things planet side. Continually expanding, Crescant City boasts a middle class population, with most residents working in the manufacturing plants, or in some kind of job related to manufacture.

Patron's Oasis
Crescent City Corellia

The Patron's Oasis is a medium sized bar in one of many small alleys of the Crescent City. Upon entering, one can instantly see the bar and smell the alcohol inside. There are many tables and chairs positioned in the way so the customers have a clear view on the stage and performing dancers. Behind the bar are the door to the storage and another, "secret" room where the owner can plan various activities. @Breeso

Cas Manas

attachment.php

Cas Manas, Corellia
Cas Manas used to be like modern Crescant City. A titan of manufacturing in her hay day, she now hosts low income residential areas, and a city full of crime. Due to poor management and investments by the manufacturing companies that practically owned Cas Manas, the workforce and business that it garnered was slowly lost to the better managed Crescant City. In addition, Cas Manas found herself located on one of the smaller continents, causing transportation prices to be far higher than they otherwise would have been.

This profile seeks to serve as a standard by which players can view, and interact with Corellia during DotR. By outlining major cities, as well as a comprehensive government structure and detailed history, this profile should provide players with an interesting, yet familiar landscape in which to base their stories. Basic use is open to any and all roleplayers. However I am willing to work with any player to build stories around Corellia, and perhaps change the shape of such things.

yep

There is even a tag for Fannon(brand new) and Cannon for spiffing up cannon planets. Some cannon planets get one paragraph in the wookepedia

I don't really see any major issues with this, but since it's a thing with Legends and we want to allow people to be able to use that stuff if possible without being lolno'd by a submission like this, is there some way that you can tweak the history to introduce a monarchy instead? Even if it's just a case that the Federation is ruled by a king or something. I'm probably wording this terribly, but basically there just needs to be some sort of allowance in there for a monarchist Corellian to, well...make sense.

yah sure. Totally forgot that. I had plenty of time skips in the history and I just kinda assumed it was there at some point. I'll make it clear :)
