Cordé possesses shoulder-length hair that is as black as sin. Her unkempt eyebrows crown her almond-shaped eyes that shelter fierce, green pupils. She has a relatively tanned, supple skin. Cordé’s features are more or less plain, though her simplicity could be considered a beauty in itself. Despite the plainness of her visage, however, her smiles are sincere enough to melt hearts. Before battle, Cordé smudges war paint over her cheeks. During battle, Cordé is usually seen garbed in gray-colored Mandalorian armor, which used to belong to her great-uncle and customized for her own needs. She also sports a traditional Mandalorian Kama around her waist. The suit has numerous scars; carbon scores where blaster fires hit, cracks left behind on places where melee weaponry has made contact. Cordé repairs them whenever she can, though she prefers to leave certain imperfections alone to act as badges of honor. Over the body armor, she wears a dull-looking cloak which she has taken to wearing in an attempt to look inconspicuous when not wearing her helmet.
Cordé is a very spirited woman and she isn’t afraid to fight back when the need arises. She also tends to think on her feet and has very quick reflexes, though sometimes this leads to her taking action without thinking things through. Due to her being trained by her uncle, a Mando’ade soldier to the core, Cordé has a very strong sense of honor rooted within her, and follows the six tenets of Mandalorian society without question. She has a soldier’s heart much like her great-uncle and believes in following orders completely, despite her impulsive nature. Cordé might question her commander’s motives, but she obeys them, nonetheless. During combat, Cordé’s mind is mostly blank. That is, she is capable of emptying her mind of distractions, which helps her focus on the situation at hand, much like putting blinders on a horse. Unfortunately, however, it also makes her more susceptible to acting without thinking, a trait that her great-uncle has tried, and failed, to remove.
Cordé Fett was born on 1004 A.B.Y. and grew up on Concord Dawn not knowing who her parents were. According to her great-uncle Gavin Fett, Cordé’s parents died bravely in battle, fighting for the glory of Mand’alor as any self-respecting Mando’ade should. Though she never doubted her great-uncle’s stories, Cordé never really thought about her parents much, especially since great-uncle Gavin Fett wasted little time on training young Cordé. Cordé’s first memory in life was her firing a blaster pistol at haphazardly-made targets across a firing range behind the homestead. This all happened while her great-uncle was yelling instructions behind her. Ever since she could remember, the grizzly old soldier has been training Cordé in the art of combat as the Mando’ade knew it. She never questioned why he did this. She only knew that it has always been so. Regardless, before she even turned eight, Cordé was already a force to be reckoned with, albeit as “dumb as bantha poo-doo”, as her great-uncle so eloquently put it. Cordé always thought her life would continue thusly until she was old enough to be as wrinkly as old Gavin. Unfortunately, however, her great-uncle had other plans. When Cordé was about ten years-old, great-uncle Gavin left her to fight in a battle to take the Kuat Drive Yards. She was left with two of her great-uncle’s favorite pistols, something she wasn’t even allowed to look at until that particular moment. Great-uncle Gavin instructed her to keep her skills sharp until he returned. Sadly, however, he never did. The only thing that returned to Cordé was her great-uncle’s Beskar’gam, presented to her by those under the old man’s command. Apparently, much like her parents, great-uncle Gavin Fett died for the glory of Mand’alor, like any self-respecting Mando’ade should. Though her great-uncle was the grumpiest person she knew, he was not unkind. Cordé was greatly saddened by his passing, but she never forgot her promise to keep her skills sharp. She continued to train in combat, using the training itself to dull the sting of losing someone. Despite being orphaned and alone, Cordé still managed to eke out a living after being given assistance by distant relatives whenever she needed it. Eventually, however, the necessity to earn money for her own became too great. Deciding that there was nothing left for her on Concord Dawn anyway, Cordé left the planet at the age of thirteen aboard her great-uncle’s old starfighter, to search for her own destiny. Wearing her great-uncle’s armor, which was customized to fit her frame, Cordé began making a name for herself as a mercenary, or at least, was trying to. Nobody seemed to take her seriously enough due to her age. More often than not, she wasn’t even allowed to enter a cantina, where all the happenings usually are. Cordé began reconsidering her decision to leave home when a group of Mando’ade noticed her sulking in a back-alley on Ord Mantell. At first, the other Mando’ade thought Cordé was a child playing with a set of beskar’gam, an act considered to be an insult to the Mando’ade tenets; the resol’nare. When they started talking to Cordé, however, and she mentioned her great-uncle Gavin Fett, the group of Mando’ade offered her a job in their small mercenary band almost immediately. As is turned out, they were few of the many under Rally Master Fett’s command during the battle at the Kuat shipyards. They remember the old man as a hard, yet fair commander who they owe their lives to. They also remember the old Mando’ade speaking fondly, and proudly, of a great-niece whom he seems to love like a daughter. Cordé didn’t believe the last bit. After joining the Mando’ade mercenaries, Cordé spent the next few months learning what it meant to lead a mercenary’s life. Her skills in combat became readily apparent after a few jobs, and she was soon fighting on the frontlines like the rest of her comrades. As time went by, Cordé’s skills continued to improve with each pull of her trigger. When news that the Mando’ade went into a state of civil war reached the mercenaries, Cordé immediately went into a state of shock. After discovering that the Fett Clan was evicted from Concord Dawn and its members scattered, she realized that the only family she had left were the mercenaries at her side. They too lost family during the civil war. Some went back to Mandalorian space in order to fight for the glory of their clans, but most of them stayed behind. Since then, Cordé continued to sell her combat skills to the highest bidder, which usually came from the Imperium, though the Hutt Cartel was not lagging far behind. Everything changed, however, when the Imperium hired Cordé and her group to fight in Manaan. Cordé, like most of the mercenaries hired by the Imperium, acted as shock troopers and became part of the first teams to arrive on Ahto City, the only part of Manaan that could be occupied at the time. Though resistance was fierce, there was little difficulty securing the area for Imperium occupation. Cordé and her group ended up spending a great deal of time on the ocean-planet as they waited for the Imperium to capitalize on their position on Manaan. Unfortunately, however, a massive counter-attack by the Alliance Remnant foiled the Imperium’s plans of conquering the ocean-planet. A great battle soon engulfed Ahto City and Cordé, with her fellow Mando'ade mercenaries, were on the thick of it. Though they fought valiantly, most members of Cordé’s group died in battle. When all seemed lost, Cordé and a few others withdrew from Manaan. After the devastating defeat, the rest of the group scattered into the four galactic winds, leaving only Cordé behind. After the siege of Manaan, Cordé began drifting from one star system to another, bereft of any purpose. She still took jobs whenever she could, but the defeat on Ahto City and the death of many of her friends has left a gaping hole inside her chest. Everything changed, however, when she caught wind of a rumor that surviving members of clan Fett were gathering to re-establish the clan. Realizing that she may not be alone after all, Cordé prepped her great-uncle’s starfighter and she immediately set course back to a place she never thought she’ll see again. Home.
