Corbin Goodner
NAME: Corbin Goodner
FACTION: Unaligned
RANK: N/A
SPECIES: Human
AGE: 19
GENDER: Male
HEIGHT: 5'11
WEIGHT: 124 lbs.
EYES: Forest green with small gold flecks
HAIR: Reddish Brown color, unkempt but not long. Slightly matted.
SKIN: White, not freckled, often smudged with dirt
CREDITS: 1,000
DISTINGUISHING MARKS: Deep scar along bottom of left ribcage
FORCE SENSITIVE: Yes

STRENGTH: Two things have death grips, old people and gaunt white men. Corbin is a gaunt white man. Not strong, but he has the death grip.
DEXTERITY: Extremely agile and nimble. Occasionally clumsy, but always swift.
CONSTITUTION: Not very healthy. Corbin is addicted to various illegal forms of spice and other drugs, and so is mentally unstable and physically deteriorated. He is also dependent on alcohol, and with it comes all of its negative effects.
INTELLIGENCE: When sober, Corbin is a very smart individual, but unfortunately finds himself under the influence more often than not and behaves how whatever drug he is on would make him behave.
WISDOM: Unwise. Intelligent when sober, yes, but very unwise.
CHARISMA: Corbin is a classic charmer at home, but in unfamiliar places he is reviled for his addiction.

PERSONALITY:
Corbin's personality is often shaped by the drugs he uses, whether high or not. In general, he is paranoid and skittish. He will often run the moment something startles him as oppose to face any risk of violence. His posture is normally tight and restricted. For example, when sitting he will normally sit against a wall, knees drawn in with his arms and upper body hunched into his legs and his face peering over his knees. He stands awkwardly, normally with his right hand holding onto his left elbow and left arm dangling to the ground. His shoulders are hunched and his feet are less than shoulder-width apart. His knees are also bent more than average. This stance makes him seem shorter than he already is.

Corbin is a kind person. His moral compass is set right, but he is undisciplined and often makes poor decisions. He tries to go out of his way to make people happy, although that usually just means sharing some extra spice with the bum sleeping next to him on a street corner.

Corbin's shortcomings come hand in hand with his drug use. He is unreliable, deceitful, and sometimes careless. It is not uncommon for him to promise to repay a debt, only to stowaway on a ship the same night and leave for a new planet. He sometimes lies just to get another fix, and so has made more enemies for it.

BIOGRAPHY:
Corbin was born in Nar Shaddaa to Alese Goodman and Hullard Goodman. The family was immensely poor, with Alese working as a stripper in seedy bars and Hullard barely holding a menial job at the TIE Fighter Construction Yard. Neither of Corbin's parents had any other family, but they always remained true to good, despite their occupations and conditions. They were strongly religious and extremely straight-edge. Their only fault as parents was that they worked too long, leaving Corbin completely to himself starting at the ripe age of four years.

At six, Corbin began to leave home when his parents weren't around and wander the streets with school friends. They barely managed to stay out of harm's way, but Corbin would find his way to it. At eight Corbin was confronted by a gaggle of Gank street scum. They told him he had a choice, buy their spice or have an unfortunate fall from the city paths. Extortion was garden variety crime in Nar Shaddaa, but Corbin had no way to defend himself from it. He took the spice, but told the Ganks he had no money. It wasn't an issue, they said, and they took him with them to a drug home, where bums from all around gathered to sleep and get high. Corbin was forced to work there, shoveling excrement and washing blood out of the floor to keep the place somewhat clean. He was paid a credit a week, all the money taken back to pay for his spice, the price of which seemed to get a little higher everyday. Corbin knew what would happen if he didn't pay. He was home every night, and his parents never knew about his little job. They never knew about the spice either. The Ganks were fair, he got to keep the spice he bought. At nine he finally tried it. Stars clouded his vision. Battle droids and gungans raced through his field of vision. He knew all about the wars on Naboo, and so, he hid for his life.

Corbin worked everyday in the drug house. He would come in the morning and shovel all the feces out of the house. None of the bums respected him at all for what he did. To them, Corbin was their only inferior. Many of the men took advantage of his weakness, and so every morning before he left his home, he would slide an ever dwindling bag of spice out from under his carefully laid sleeping mat. It only made the working day bearable, but once he ran out, he found out very quickly he would need more. He bought more from the Ganks, and they lengthened his servitude.

At 12, Corbin's family was evicted. As his mother grabbed their few belongings to take to a friend's home, she uncovered Corbin's spice. He was not welcome in their friend's home. It was made clear that he would never be welcome in his parents' home either. Corbin had no choice but to go to the only other home he knew: the drug home. He lived and worked in the same dirty hole in the wall until he was 17, when he decided to leave.

He had nowhere to go, and so the Ganks tracked him down quickly. He notice them quickly before they reached him, and he ran. The chase took him and the Ganks through a mile of city streets and levels, but eventually he tripped over a fence and landed on his back. He struggled to get up, not even a touch of polluted air left in his lungs after the fall, and as soon as he got to his knees, one of the Ganks stabbed him with his weapon, a rusty pole. The Gank swished it from side to side, tearing flesh in Corbin's left side as he exhaled in surprise and pain. All the blood left in him rushed to his temples and his vision turned nearly solid red. In a last flurry of desperation, Corbin reached up and pushed the Gank off of him. The Gank flew twenty feet back, right off the edge of the city street. Corbin drifted away with satisfaction, remembering how his father had told him a fall off the street edge could last for hours.

Corbin woke up in a small infirmary. He was in a brief moment of lucidity, and finally was able to take stock of what had happened. He remembered the Gank flying off him as he pushed him, but he didn't remember ever feeling the Gank itself as he made contact. Days passed. Corbin got up from his bed in the infirmary and stood for the first time in a week. He knew he had never touched that Gank, and he especially knew that even if he had, he never could have pushed it that far. His bag of spice lay on the stool next to the bed.

Corbin left without a word. He walked out of the door if the infirmary and straight to the shipyard, bag of spice in one hand, a bandage to his side in the other. He had to leave Nar Shaddaa, there was nothing left for him. If only he could find a Jedi Knight.

(Corbin travels for two more years to bring us to present day. He gets high and fails to find a jedi along the way. He is now 19.)

Sorry to double post, but I want to keep this out of the sheet itself. Please let me know what I can do to improve this. I am certainly no expert on the Star Wars universe and drug use is kind of an untouched topic in the canon as far as I know...
