Yes, I enjoy cool freeware games and I plan to curse you with a link to a game I liked especially when I was younger (Re-downloading to reminisce right now, heh) and it is called:
Notrium. It is basically a survival game where you have crash landed onto a planet and have to live there. At the start you choose between four races; all of them are vastly different and can have different endings to boot.
