DESCRIPTION​

The Conveyor-class Heavy Transport, designed and manufactured by Ubrikkia Industries, is a heavy utility airspeeder. The craft specializes in the transporting of heavy objects planetside. The Conveyor's size and bulk is comparable to the YT-1300 series of freighters.

The utility airspeeder is very large and bulky compared to most airspeeders, it's slow and has terrible maneuverability as a result. But what it makes for in it's lack of grace, it makes up for in it's ability transport heavy loads of cargo planetside. With it's adjustable magnetic clamps on the bottom of the aircraft, it can lift large, heavy containers of cargo and lock it in place until the craft lands or decides to drop it. In place of the usual cargo containers, the Conveyor can also carry a vehicle of various sizes. being able to carry up to a medium tank or walker. Although the movement of the Conveyor is slow, it can move laterally if needed to better aid in onloading or unloading.

Although in theory the Conveyor could be in theory flown by a single individual, to be able to use the vehicle effectively for it's intended purpose and safely will need a full crew of four. The Conveyor operates with a pilot and copilot, and the other two monitor the other instruments of the ship as well as handle maintenance. The Conveyor has cameras that point at downward angles to aid in pick-up and drop-off. The vehicle has three spotlights that face forwards and the rest face downwards.

That being said, while the Conveyor has heavy armor plating, it was not meant for combat. The vehicle has no weapons armament, no shields, and with low speed/maneuverability it has no means of protection other than just flying away.

The Conveyor is widely used in industrialized areas, being frequently seen on their world of origin Ubrikkia and other planets devoted to industries. Even on other planets, one could see one of these vehicles delivering cargo to a starport here and there. The Conveyor does indeed make being able to managing cargo be done quickly and efficiently. The vehicle is expensive, although still less expensive than a freighter of comparable size on average.

Restricted. This vehicle is a heavy, industrial vehicle and is regulated in use, a license to operate is required, and the organization in question needs a license to own.

INTENT​

To bring to the site a useful utility vehicle that has planet of uses. It's a freighter but to be used planetside. I could see a wide variety of uses this vehicle has in the roleplay.
