Saorise name and reputation was in free fall after Jacob Taggers bombshell reporting. Whatever leaks in her House’s internal streams she’d set to be dealt with by her staff. With more than a few intelligence officers at her command such things were easy. However, some things required a more direct approach. One such thing was Judge Kastecks, the man to preside over her trial.

While Saorise retained some pull within the Empire, not everything could be swept away so easily. This was one. But the best way to ensure the system spat out the answer you wanted? Rig it till it had to. And that was exactly what she meant to do.

Holidaying on Kattada, Judge Kastecks had chosen to lounge about before the big day. It was ti he was interrupted and made to focus.

To that end, Saorise and a newfound ally had flown to Kattada, making their way into the resort and tracking down the man. Between the two of them, they needed to intimidate or charm him until he gave in and supported her. He would break soon enough,

“Hope your enjoying yourself” she called over to her companion, strolling along the beach as they approached the judge,

“We get this done quick and we might actually get a chance to relax here” she said with a wink. They deserved a reward if it all went well. Hopefully they’d get to it sooner rather than later.

ISP-1123 was unlike most of the others in his position, while he believed in the institutions of the Imperial Republica, he also sought to refine it, to make it better and seek out those who stood to abuse the systems in place for their own benefit. And for this reason he had been drawn into Crusader Saorise's own personal quest to seek justice. Well, he had to admit it was nice to get off the planet and do some dirty work away from the halls of power. Though he did not much like leaving the palace so under-defended. He strode after her, confident steps leaving deep footprints in the sand of the resort planet where they had tracked this Judge down. "I do not take pleasure in seeing the justice system so manipulated, but to clear the name of an important figure, we must do what we must."

Saorise was probably sure he was sweltering, the long crimson cape trailing behind him as they walked would be hot enough, but he was bedecked in the robes and armor of his position, the crimson of the Royal Guard. After all, what better to put the fear into a judge than a direct servant of the Emperor or Empress, whichever was in the direct control of the Empire at this point. ISP-1123 carried in his hand a long object wrapped in red silk, within the silk wrapping was the black sword, the ultimate symbol of his office and the Empire's will.

"There is no time to relax, once this is resolved, I must return to Coruscant. The Empire is without leadership, someone must do something about this." He was clearly all about business first today.

"I share your sympathies ISP, but if we both want this Empire to change, then I'm afraid it's not always possible to do it how we like to. Thank you though, for your assistance" Saorise offered her ally some assurance as they strode over to the judge, alone on the beach, sitting back comfortably in his chair, a drink in one hand and a datapad in the other.

While she was not often one to doubt herself, her plan was a bold one, one that could backfire aggressively if things did not go according to plan. She knew the risks, and as nice as it was to know sometimes she had to wonder if it wouldn't be easier if she didn't. Still, they had surprise on their side, and between her own personal infamy, and the authority of a member of the Imperial Guard, many options were available to them today. If the Kastecks couldn't see sense in supporting her, then perhaps he'd see the foolishness of crossing them.

Either way, he would be theirs by the days end,

"In which case I won't keep you long, I'm sure we've both got more than enough on our hands at the moment" a final word before the attack began,

"Judge Kastecks" she called out to the man, his head darting up from his reading and over to her "I'm sure you know who I am"

"Saorise Kallig. I'm sure you know it's not right for us to be speaking before the trial"

"No, but hopefully we can make some sort of exception today"

"What is it you want?"

Well, that was the question wasn't it? Time to get to work.
