ooc:He's willin to join any team with a compeling arguement...if anyone cares :9:

*In the dark sector of the Smuggler's Moon lay a poor, gittery, and partly balding man. Could the fate of the galaxy ever rest on his shoulders? Probably not. How 'bout this planet? Still, not a chance. But will he grow to the hero of his own life? Only time would tell.

He was in the back corner of a pirticularly foul cantina. Twieleks danced as other poor delusional souls shoved credit chips towards them. He had been debating something, something important. Occasionally he would look over to his right towards the entrance to the bar. For some reason he felt drawn to this place...like he was supposed to do something here. Maybe he was just going crazy, but it felt to real.*

Reum walked into the bar and adored the feeling of the place. He had always loved this bar, in fact he used to use it as his head quarters while he was in The Forsaken. Even after that horrific experience he still couldn't remove himself from his place. Something however seemed different. He couldn't place his finger on it but for some reason he felt drawn toward a man in the corner. Reum assumed he was tired from training but the feeling grew more and more intense.

*Watts motioned for a waitress to meet him, then whispered something into her ear. She slapped him, creating a large red mark across his face which was only made worse when he began to blush. She did, however, come back with a small glass of juma juice and a bottle of Tarisan ale.

To hopless, or maybe not caring enough to notice, Watts was oblivious to the new comer and sat there staring down at his drink.*

Reum laughed to himself and sat down at the table across from the man. He felt familiar with his man. He finally decided to just walk up to him.

"Excuse me but do I know you?"

*A look of distrot crossed his face as he thought Oh, no...more bill collectors.*

"I told you I'll get you the money in a couple of days...times have been tough..."

*He looked down at the small circles in his drink before taking another sip.*

*Joh'had frowns from the corner. He was at this scumbag of a planet, after just dealing with a renegade Hutt. A large task, even for a Jedi Master. But someone had to save the Republic agents on this planet. Maybe the Republic's government is corrupt, (Or so Joh'had thinks), but the hardworking men and women of the Republic certainly deserve better.

But now, drinking his distilled water, Lakkerun finds more trouble brewing. The one in the corner seemed hopelessly depressed. Someone's over there now, talking to him. Something about credits... a fight may break out soon, that's what his Jedi instict told him. And a Jedi must be an arbiter, stop even the most petty of fights before they happen.

So, putting his drink on a coaster, Lakkerun gets up out of his chair, and calmly strolls across the cantina. He stands far enough away that he looks non-descript, far enough away that they won't notice him. But close enough that he can easily hear the rest of the conversation, and make sure nothing serious breaks out.*

*He needed to get out of here...By this time there would definately be more of them, and he didnt have the courage nor the strength to even have a chance at getting out of here once the real mob was on him. So after motioned farewell to his aquaintence, he heads to the door, lightly nudging the jedi on accident. He dramatically falls to the floor and looks up, a look of almost petrification. This poor man was filled with fears and phobias, and rightfully so. On this planet even a light tap such as that could get you killed.*

"S-s-sorry, Sir..."

"Quite alright, good sir... Here, if you will: Let me help you up."

*I bend over, and hold out a gloved hand, my expression and general demeanor calm and benevolent. The man on the ground could, most likely, feel a sense of trust and peace as Lakkerun attempts to help the man up off the ground.*

*There was something calming about the man, but it was kinda weird. I mean he had heard of 'Jedi' before, but he also knew the could use mind tricks...and he didnt want to wake up in the gutter and not know what happened. He looked away from the hand and pushed himself up, before heading towards the door once more. This time, however, he dropped his weapon, which had not been set on safety and went off firing a bolt towards the bartender who in turn hit the floor and fired back.

Almost unbelieveably the man ducked so incredibly fast that the master had not thought it possible. The miraculous stunt was then humbled by the fact that he had slipped on spilled Juma juice and was now face first heading for the floor.*

*Joh'had, a trained military expert, not to mention highly skilled in the Jedi combat arts, is instantly prepared for combat. But he does not raise the alarm, and does not pull his lightsabre out. For that would certainly either cause a riot, or get him killed.

So, instead, I instantly statis the barkeep. He petrifies in a minute, his finger still on the trigger of his blaster. Fortunately, this sort of procedure was quite common on Nar Shaddaa. Noone pays much attention when the shot is fired, and business continues.

I walk towards the man on the ground once more, picking up his blaster. I switch the safety on in a deliberate motion, made clear to the man. Keeping it in my left hand, I hold my right hand out again, trying to help the man up.*

"Please, let me help you up this time..."

*He had no other choice. He might as well accept help, because it was obvious that if he wanted to rob him he could have done it by now. He extended his hand, and lifted himself up using the jedi as leverage.*

"Nice moves...where ya learn 'em?"

"Coruscant. A certain Academy there teaches students little tricks like that. But I don't know if that's any concern of yours. However, this may be..."

*I hold the man's blaster out towards him, butt first.*

"Keep it...it's done nothing but get me into trouble since I first picked it up...horrible shot anyways."

*He sighed and looked towards the ground.*

"Well jedi, farewell..."

*He turned and headed out the door, straight to the railing along side the Nar Shadda streets. He bent over it looking down into the dark abyss that headed to Nal Hutta. It was beautiful in it's own disgruntled sort of way.*

*I carefully place the blaster on a spare holster I had built into all my robes. He wouldn't accept it, I could tell by his tone. And may as well make sure none of this scum gets it.

Rushing from the cantina to catch up with him, a single word rings through my head...

My rigorous conditioning had made me a good sprinter, and so I catch up with the stranger quickly.*

"Sir... you said something about a Jedi? I believe you implied that I was a Jedi?"

"Don't let my stark white hair fool you: I'm thirty-two.

But yes, I am a Jedi. And those magic tricks weren't magic: It's something known as 'The Force'. Ever heard of it?"

*I don't know why I chose to talk to the stranger like this. Stuff like this a good Jedi wouldn't give out to just anyone. But something in the back of my mind told me that this man wouldn't betray me... and something told me to stay.*

"Yea, I heard of those crazy old hermits who'd take little boys out to 'train'....No offence..."

*He says, thinking about how rude his comment was. Maybe thats why he was always in trouble.*

"I told you, I'm not that old..."

*I smile wrly for a moment at the intended joke. Maybe it was lost on the man, but it gives me a moment of satisfaction for a second.*

"And the Jedi are no hermits. We have a large Academy on Coruscant, among other systems. Surely you've heard of them?"

"I can show you how, if you like. I can open the world for you, show you how things really work. I can turn the world upside, enlighten you. You could learn to do things like this..."

*I wave my hand in air, and a bright trail of colors follows it, of every color imaginable. It fades in a second, leaving only the memory of its existence.*

"Or this..."

*I focus for half a second, and soon my compradre's frame is lifting into the air, slowly but steadily. I spin him around through the air like a top, and civilians turn to watch. But I ignore them, and let the man down softly.*

"Or even this..."

*A malevolent and grim expression crosses my face, and it becomes covered in dim shadows. And soon, the man can feel his throat constricting, cutting off his oxygen. Eventually, he wouldn't be able to breathe...

But it ends just as quickly as it starts. Other people around us gasp, while others flee. Some just stand there, too dumb or too shocked to realize what's happening.*

"But the decision of yours. It may seem obvious, but take care: Ignorance is bliss. Sometimes, knowing too much is the worst thing possible.

Not only that, but you will face challenges like never before. You must devote yourself to the Order. You must be willing to give up your previous life, to forge a new one. However, again, the decision is yours...."

OOC: Hope ya don't mind the AH there, but I figured you wouldnt be able to resist it anyway, and it wouldve never been lethal...
