"My words are better then your half-truths and lies my dear. I know you haven't been a Sith to long for you do not understand the cost nor the nature of the Sith, and I hope you never will."

*The ball of energy he had held faded out and he let his hand drop back to his side.*

"Hatred and fear is what gives a Sith power, but what happens when there is nothing left to hate? Nothing left to fear? What will you do when the Nem'Vaah are indeed all dead? What then?"

*Her glare was met with his calm stare, it was a look of understanding, one that had gone through such things.*

"What are you expecting me to say? That once the Nem'Vaah are all dead I would have nothing to hate anymore? No reason for revenge? That I would show weakness and let the Sith think that I am of no asset to them? Well I'm sorry to disappoint you, but you're not the only reason I assist the Sith. I'm not going to bother explaining it to you because you wouldn't understand anyway, and your past.... well, that's just what it is - the past.

Now, you come here and think that you can settle this? You're pathetic. I have been a Nem'Vaah far longer than you, I've learned the many forms and techniques that Darius had to offer, I was a Nem'Vaah master! I learned many things that you would never be able to on your own!"

*Erythia was filled with so much hatred, but it didn't cloud her vision. She could still see John for who he was. She could sense his hope; the hope to revive the order... some would say it was inspiring, but it only sickened Erythia. She made a mockery of his hope, she felt that it was all he deserved.*

"Yet, you think that you, and only you would be able to revive the Nem'Vaah order!? That's absurd."

*Raider had an amused look on his face, one not unlike that a parent wears when their youngling tries to explain something very complex and forgets important points.*

"I was under the expression you had already told me why you joined the Sith Empire. It was the first thing I asked you I believe. Now regardless of what Invidious says, I'am no fool mi'lady and saw quite clearly who was sitting next to you in that bar on Coruscant."

*As Raider talked his calm eyes never left her hateful ones.*

"My past and your's share only one similarly and that is that they just memories. A Nem'Vaah master you once were just as I once was a Sith Lord. I had to died before I saw the truth, the greatest flaw of the Sith. My only goal right now is to make sure you do not suffer that fate."

*He fell silent now, waiting for her reply, whether it was word or saber.*

"You misunderstood me. I told you earlier why I joined the order, yes... but I did not mention why I choose to continue to walk down this path. I may have joined because of you, Dex, the Nem'vaah, all of it.... but that does not mean those are the reasons why I will forever attend to the Sith. They started me off on this path, but I choose to continue forward even after you die."

*Erythia looked into his eyes, noticing how calm he was. This could be the day he dies, yet, that didn't seem to bother him. Perhaps it was because he had already expreienced death once before..? Maybe a second time would keep him in the grave.*

"You don't want me to suffer the same fate? And how are you going to do that - try to turn me away from this path? Well, it's not going to work, John. Save your breathe, you'll be gasping for it when I'm through with you."

*The smallest amount of sadness found it's way into his eyes and as he spoke it grew with each word.*

"For a decade I witnessed the rise and fall of so many Sith Empires. Always as we neared our goal, always when victory was in our grasp. Viea may have crushed the Jedi and Republic, but her empire will fall in the same way as the others. Through civil war, as the lust for power overwhelms each one, then the Sith will fall on each other like starving Krayt Dragons. Power is their greatest strength, but in it lays their greatest weakness."

*A sigh escaped him, one full of tired regret. He was tired of fighting, tired of loss, tired of all the things war brings. He had found his peace, it had taken him ten years of war and death but he had found it and no Sith could take it from him.*

"If that is the future you wish then so be it. One day, you will realize I was right, hopefully it will not be when you lay dying."

*He breathed out, neither controling nor following the Force; just being. Without another word he turned away from her and began walking up one of the sand dunes back to his ship. Not seeming to care that he was leaving himself open to attack by a Sith who wished to kill him.*

*Erythia watched in fury as he walked away from her. Did he believe that she posed no threat to him? Did he think that she didn't have the nerve to kill him - that deep down inside she was the kind hearted, benevolent, compassionate Lara Jace-Kyjar although she was a Sith Lord in name? If he did, he was sadly mistaken. Erythia had come too far to just let him go, so that wasn't an option. The emnity between the two could only be solved when the either dies, but Erythia would not let herself fall at the hands of the Nem'Vaah.*

"We are not finished here!"

*A short phrase that she was once taught echoed in her mind before she attacked John, 'Do not let your anger blind you. Rather, let it consume you and in the purity of your hatred you will find the deaths of your enemies.' Erythia let those words guide her, using Force Grip on John. A look of rage drowned her face of all warmth as she watched John's feet slowly lift off the ground. She laughed as he was struggling to breathe; her rage channeled through anger. He was in agony, yet she enjoyed every second of it. Erythia used more power to make the grip stronger, and then pulled him over to her. She released him as he fell to her feet. Erythia wasted no time, she ignited her lightsaber and put it to his neck, grinning a most evil grin.*

"Through power, I gain victory!"

*A twitch of the Force ripped the crimson blade from Erythia's hands, it flew through a high arch before landing in the sand.*

"Fool, I gave you the chance to live."

*It was at that moment one could fully understand why John Raider was one of the strongest Force users in the galaxy. The look which held his face as he rose and stared down at the thing that had once been Lara Jace-Kyjar was more terrible then anyone could have imagined. The small knowing smile was gone, the calm eyes had disappeared. Cold fury radiated from every part of him, suffocating Erythia's own heated hate. His fist lashed forward like a lightning bolt, the crack of Erythia's nose breaking filled the air as the Sith was lifted into the air by Raider's blow. She arched slowly through the air and as she hit the ground, Raider had gone.*

*The impact of Erythia's nose colliding with John's fist felt as though it was a boulder hitting her face, rather than a fist. She could hear the loud crack and a few seconds later, she felt the cold blood run down her nose, but before she knew it, she was in the air. Erythia fell to the ground on her back. She waited a few seconds to take in the pain, before she stood up. She lifted her head and then slowly picked herself up so that she was now on her hands and knees. The blood from her nose dripped to the ground, splattering like rain. Erythia took in a slow breath before she healed herself. Once she was healed, she picked herself up onto her feet. It would take a lot more than a punch to the nose to stop a woman with only one thing on her mind; vengeance.

Erythia could sense his aura fading - he left. He had no intention of killing her even though she's tried over and over again to kill him. Typical Nem'Vaah.... he was weak in that sense; nothing but a coward in her eyes. Erythia then walked over to her lightsaber and picked it up. She looked into the planet's atmosphere and mumbled under her breath.*

"This isn't over....."
