DESCRIPTION
The mini concussion rocket is a weapons modification utilized as an attachment to current blaster carbine rifles. The modification which includes a single capacity concussion rocket works similarly to Mandalorians' wrist rocket armor functions. However, instead of a rocket capable of fragmentation grenade strength, this shoots a rocket equivalent in damage to a concussion grenade. The rocket has a travel distance of close to 100 meters and a blast radius of about 3 meters. Duration effects of the concussion rocket are identical to generic concussion grenades. The attachment unlike Wrist Rockets, is modded onto a blaster carbine rifle. It is typically attached onto the top or to the side of the weapon barrel. It requires a manual switch to be activated in order to fire the rocket using the host weapon's trigger mechanism. The ammunition capacity for the attachment is one rocket; it can be re-loaded manually but that requires time ( At least one round) and so re-loading during the haste of combat is typically not a preferred situation.
LEGALITY
Illegal. This is not an attachment which would be allowed by most civilized planetary systems as well as by law enforcement. It is typically utilized by Mandalorians as well as bounty hunters / assassins.INTENT
I wanted to give the players an option for weapon modifications; there isn't much modifications available to current weapons or weapon mods that I could find in the current approved Tech List. This allows players to customized their blasters somewhat with added options.RESTRICTIONS
Relatively basic technology, nothing special in terms of lethality or damage as it is equivalent to a blend of the wrist rocket and concussion grenade. Given the size of the attachment though, this can only be added to a carbine rifle / blaster rifle and not pistols.
