Thread Prefix: cannon

Name: Concord dawn

Coordinates: O-7

Hyperlane: it's within the mandalore sector, so I'm going to assume it shares mandalore's.

Climate: it's never really said, though in legends its said Concord dawn was the agricultural center of mandalorian space. I'm going to assume it's dusty.

Terrain: Deserts, Forests, Jungles, Plains.

Rotation: again, it's something never really touched upon, but most of the southern hemisphere has been wiped out. So I'm going to assume it barely rotates well.

Inhabitants: humans (mandalorians)

Resources: it never really says, I'm going to assume the farmland.

Government: Concord Dawn Protectorate, at the time of the empire, it is likely now they are back to a chiefdom.

Culture: Concord dawn is considered both the agricultural center of mandalore, and a training center, as the infamous mandalorian super commandos call this place home, in the famous qoute "on Concord dawn, cheating is a capital offense."

Technology: The planet was principally an agricultural world, backwards in development.

Satellites: At least 3 moons.

History: Concord Dawn, a planet with three moons located in the Concord Dawn system within the Mandalore sector of the Outer Rim Territories, was famous for its elite Mandalorian warriors, and during one of its many wars, much of the planet's southern hemisphere was wiped out, turning into much smaller asteroid chunks.

At some point, the bounty hunter Rako Hardeen was born on the shattered planet.Due to his excellent skills as a marksman, Hardeen earned the nickname the "Marksman of Concord Dawn." The famed Mandalorian bounty hunter and clone template Jango Fett was born there, though his exact history was unknown, much to his amusement.

During the Age of the Empire, the Mandalorian Protectors, a group of Mandalorian warriors who once served the ruler of Mandalore before its Imperial occupation, ruled Concord Dawn along with its third moon, where they set up a camp. Led by Fenn Rau, the Protectors aligned themselves with the Empire. Three years before the Battle of Yavin, an aerial engagement occurred against members of Phoenix Squadron over free passage through the system and to the Lothal sector. The members of the cell escaped, however the Jedi Kanan Jarrus and the Mandalorian Sabine Wren assaulted the Protectors' base.

Rau and Jarrus ended up in conversation, when they realized that both had been involved in the Third Battle of Mygeeto, where Jarrus and his master Depa Billaba were saved by Rau and Skull Squadron from a Separatist attack. After some more encounters with the hiding Wren, who had planted several bombs around the base and had invoked the Mandalorian code, Rau's starfighters were destroyed, however, he escaped. In fear of the Empire arriving in their system, Rau allowed the members of the rebellion to pass through.

Some time later, the Galactic Empire arrived in the system, led by Imperial viceroy Gar Saxon and a squad of Imperial Super Commandos. The Imperial forces later engaged the returning Sabine Wren, Fenn Rau, and the young Jedi Padawan Ezra Bridger when they arrived on Concord Dawn's moon, and eventually all parties fled the area.

Intent: well, I was plotting a mandalorian rp and I went to put in Concord dawn out of curiosity, only to see it's not there, both in cannon and in legends, Concord dawn was pretty important to the mandalorian people, as it's mandalore's second capital after they were conquered by the first empire. I think it would still be important to them.

Extreme details about the planet are murky, so I reached out from both to put this together.

Hello there.

So there are a few problems with this

• Canon planet write-ups are supposed to expand on an planet already existing in Canon/Legends. There's a lot of fields in here that are basically "maybe this" and "it was never expanded on". If the info is not provided in Canon/Legends, you will need to decide on something.

Here is a fantastic example of such a write-up. The author took a planet that was only a stub/had almost no info and made it into something wonderful, had it's own flair, and unique.

• As for this write-up, all the content provided is already on wookiepedia, either it's canon or legends page. I can see quite a bit of it is copy + pasted from pedia as well. So as it stands this write-up would be redundant.

As a reminder, you don't need a approved planetary write-up to play on Concord Dawn. So with that in mind, I am going to archive this write-up. If you are interested in submitting an expansion for CD it needs to be a significant amount of expansion and the content to be decisive.
