Sith Brotherhood Mission
Nez Peron
The former merc couldn't say he was thrilled about this mission. Nez Peron now held far too many bad memories for him. Only a few short months ago he'd lost his entire former squad, and all but one of member of his family. As he walked the streets of the capital he couldn't help but think back to the only people he cared about...being murdered by the people he now worked for. Von visibly grimaced and then put the thoughts away as he came to a data terminal. He was here for the Sith but that wasn't going to stop him from trying to reach his sister. He had no way to directly reach her, but the accounts he used to wire them credits were all still open. He wired her enough money to get off world, infact get far off world leaving him with only 1,000 credits to his name. He left a message attached to the transer,

Nesa it's me Von. I know I haven't been able to contact you in the last few months and I don't have a lot of time now. Use this money to get yourself off world and far from here. I can't reveal why, but you need to leave and not let me know where you're going. Find a new life if you can....mine is over now. I love you....be safe.

He ended the message and sent the transfer, hopeful that his only tie left to who he used to be would safe. Von left the terminal hefting the bag he carried with him. He decided early that street clothes would draw far less attention until he reached the target. Hopefully his detour wouldn't delay his rendezvous with his partner for this mission, a Sith named Rhem Solare. Von was told the kid was a whiz at mechanical engineering and that'd Rhem would prove valuable. The merc would see about that, as at present he trusted a Sith about as far as he could toss a nerf.

He arrived at the rendezvous point, a small cafe across from the target, and took a quick look around for his accomplice. He didn't see the young man yet so he took the opportunity to eye the target as he sat down at and empty table. In this city that tried to integrate as much greenery into it's architecture, the communication building stuck out like a gundark at a dinner party. It was an entirely plain building as the intel had stated. He could see 4 of the confirmed 10 guards patrolling near the 3 entrances. He kept an eye on their patrol routes, while looking for a decent entrance point from this angle. The roof was probably the best option, though he had no idea what other security measures the building held. He pondered other options still waiting for his partner to arrive.

"You should probably order something. Maybe read a little. You kind of stand out if you just stare right at it." A voice from behind Von whispered. If the mercenary looked behind him. He'd see a blond haired young man currently demolishing some kind of steak. Not a moment after he looked. Von would feel a small mental tug. Not any attempt to influence him or pry into his thoughts. Just the mental equivalent of a tap on the shoulder. Confirming that he indeed was the one Von was assigned to work with.

Rhem's file would probably have mentioned his love of disguise and threatrics. And this mission was no exception. His usual bright red hair had been changed to a dirty blonde. With pale blue contacts covering up his normally green eyes. It seems he'd pulled out the disguise kit once again.

"I've been looking at it for a while. But I'm curious as to what plans you've come up with." He was honest at this part. So far he'd never had the pleasure of working with a member of the Sacred Band. So far each and every one of Rhem's assignments involved working with his fellow Sith. And for the most part they were all unpleasant egomaniacs who took themselves far too seriously.

He was actually looking forward to dealing with someone of a more mundane variety. It would be far more relaxing. Hopefully he'd even manage to get along with his new comrade.

Von simply looked back at the sith and raised an eyebrow as he saw the youngman's disquise. Then he would suddenly narrow his eyes and almost pull a pistol as he felt the mental tug.

Karking forcers, so quick to show off their abilities and powers.

He sighed and relaxed though and put his focus back on the target building.

"Sorry need to focus to figure out the plan, didn't have time to blend."

The young man seemed eager and Von had to admit it he seemed more down to earth than your average sithie. When asked for a plan of attack he considered that their were now 2 of them.

"Well the best access is probably on the roof, but those guards are gonna be a problem. Their patrols are actually providing really decent coverage of the area, thus leaving us no way to approach the building unseen. However if one of us was to provide a distraction the other could get to the roof undetected."

He motioned to Rhem as he said "one of us" and continued.

"I've got a grappling launcher that can easily get us access if you can distract to 4 guards at the front. There'll be 6 more waiting inside if the intel's good, which it seldom is so we need to be ready to engage. Though I'd rather avoid fighting if possible. I like getting in and out before they know what's hit them. Thoughts?"

He turned back to Rhem to see if he had any input.
