A friend was interested enough in roleplaying together that I decided it would be enough fuel for me to come back to the forum. Naturally I'm a little confused and need to be caught up.

-Where is the Light of the Force? Or whatever the Jedi flagship name is. My character was last there, so if it's crashed that's probably important.

-The sith are attacking Corsucant, so are there forum plans for the republic/jedi to fall?

-With the understandable panicked state of the order, is it possible for my padawan to create a lightsaber without outside help?

-My character's main interaction is now inactive, so to keep role-plays going is anyone interested in a love interest? I have a Jedi and an Indie who could both use a shove in the direction of a role-play. If anyone wants to swipe right on that let me know.

Welcome back!

For starters, we're actually in a completely different timeline now, set ~1,000 years prior to The Phantom Menace. So the Clone Wars haven't even happened yet. I would recommend giving The Story a quick read to get caught up to speed on where everything is.

As it seems you might be interested in joining the Jedi (which you will need to make a new character to fit with your new timeline, I'm sorry to say), here's a more in-depth exposition on the Jedi's history: [LINK]

Other main factions have similar entries on their respective boards that complement the main story as well - Sith history & Republic history.

These threads explain mostly the last timeline. The timeline my character was in had the Galactic Senate, the Border Alliance, the Sith, and the Sacred Band. Is that the current timeline?

Indeed, it is that timeline.

We haven't changed much, I guess. Save the emergence of the Galactic Army and a Republic wavering to a renewed Brotherhood, etc.

Ah, I assumed you were referring to the previous timeline as Light of the Force was the name of the Jedi flagship from the Fifth Timeline.

But yeah, if you were here when our current timeline kicked off, then not much has changed, per Deviant's comment.

Would you mind explaining your comment in more detail? If I remember correctly, we spoke before.

Just going to copy and paste what I usually tell new members on the bearings of the timeline. Why? I'm lazy. Anyway:

• The Sith Brotherhood emerged out of hiding, and won the world of Felucia.
• Jedi Order retaliated, and won a hard-fought victory on Telos.
• Sith Academy on Korriban was bombed, but rebuilding efforts were later finished.
• Jedi Temple on Tython was bombed, but rebuilding efforts were later completed.
• Sith have pushed hard against the now allied Republic and Jedi Order, advancing upon a number of Mid-Rim territories.
• The Republic, now with a Galactic Army rather than the prior Border Alliance, has fought valiantly against the Brotherhood, defeating them at Zeltros and having so recently taken Serenno with them.
• The Sith once again fail during an invasion on the Jedi world of Lothal.
• The Death Watch rises to prominence after driving the Republic out of Mandalore and reviving the Mandalorian lifestyle.
• The Jedi have so recently prevailed over Sith forces at Onderon.
• The Sith are now in the midst of sacking Coruscant. The main battle threads happen to be up now, and open to anyone. Of course, specific threads will be death-disabled, but with a predetermined outcome of a Sith victory (as it was intended).

That should be everything of importance! If you want like, minor details 'n stuff tho, I can also explain furthermore.

How long have Jedi been able to marry? And what are the rules for legends lore, specifically lightsaber crystals such as Durindfire or Krayt Dragon pearls?

kyber crystals are the only crystals that can be used for lightsaber currently in new cannon. while I'm not sure about marriage but from in legends, it was looked down upon by Jedi council but not aloud but in this timeline, the Jedi are more relaxed about emotions so I think marriage is not off the table

@christhebarker A durindfire crystal is what I had in mind, I know it's been used on the forum before and literally the only difference is a silver colour. Flavour only.
