Rayla would've rudely answered the rebel's question but Adun spoke first, so now she just crossed her arms and listened.

At least the human Jedi seem to be wanting to own up for his mistake despite suffering wounds from the last firefight. Forim still wasn't sure about the Togruta yet. Hopefully almost being killed will get into their thick skulls make them wise up hopefully. As for Adun's question, Forim could only sigh.

"The only ones I command at the moment are some of my crew scattered in the port and the X-Wings fighting above us. As for what you can do...that depends Jedi."

Forim eyed the couple with discerning eye before adding. "Could we trust the both of ya not to fark yourselves over again? Either get your act together or stay out of the way. Too many lives are stake to deal with that load of poodoo."

Adun looked back at Rayla for a moment before looking back at the Duros. The Rebel was right, they needed to work together to get out of this situation. "Just a moment." He looked back at Rayla and sent her a telepathic message. Just put up with me for a little longer, once we get back you won't have to see me ever again.

Oh sure, cannot wait until this is done. But I'm sure Master Reukli would disagree. She looked up at the rebel,"Perhaps you can get us up on that ship"

"What ship? If this is some kind-

Before Forim can finish that sentence, he looked up and saw the Republic cruiser which he guessed was the pirate flagship, high above in the sky. It wasn't there originally, no doubt it had been in orbit until it came down during the fighting. This is not good, he had hoped the flagship would stay off planet while they hold out long enough until those rebel reinforcements arrive. Forim feared if this fight will drag on, the pirates will grow frustrated and just bombard the port out of spite after evacuating their men on the ground.

Looking back, Forim turn to the Jedi with doubtful eyes. "It depends miss. Better explain what you exactly plan to do."

Considering how this duo nearly got themselves butchered by a single raider squad for going in unprepared, Forim hoped the Jedi girl actually had a plan beside relying on her force powers and lightsabers. Meanwhile Rogue Squadron shot all of the first group A-Wings without losses and now turned their attention, go after the transports. Several of them were already being shot down by the fighters and the defenders who used what few rocket launchers were available and two laser turrets. Yet a second wave of pirate starfighters were coming in.

Oh sure, cannot wait until this is done. But I'm sure Master Reukli would disagree. Adun winced hearing that reply. It made all of his wounds sting just a little more, hearing the tone of which the message was given. You fool, he scolded himself, now do you see how little she cares for you? Hearing a few gasps of surprise Adun looked up at the ship and sighed. He had seen the schematics on such things when he was younger, he recalled that a single man once destroyed a ship like that with a well placed explosive. "Sir, do we have any explosive charges? We could lead a boarding party onto the ship and destroy the reactor." Adun motioned to some of the now deceased raiders. "We can take that armor and sneak aboard, do you think that will work?" He winced as he turned to Rayla. "What do you think?"

Rayla got up from her sitting position and attached her saber to her belt,"Let's just get aboard and kill everyone. Blowing the reactor will cause the ship to crash in the city, but clearly you wouldn't realise that, caring for nobody but yourself"

Adun brought up an interesting point, they could sneak onboard but as Raya pointed out blowing up the reactor could risk crashing the cruiser into the settlement. Yet going in blasters blazing was a sucide run. Seriously does this girl have a death wish. All she seem to care about is lashing out at everything and everyone. Where did the Jedi Order picked up this one, from Korriban, Forim sarcastically wondered.

Suddenly he got a comm call from Jader. "Cap, I got the scum singing like a bird. He's part of the band called the Nebula Fangs. Their leader is Kobar, a two-bit warlord that been plaguing several systems in this sector. They also got a good number of personal up in that ship."

Forim thanked his Hapan comrade and focus back on the current headache.

"I don't know what's going to between you two but it's not helping anyone and frankly I don't care."

The rebel commander looked at Raya with an expression that he wasn't impressed with her recent actions and words.

"I'm most certainly not going to risk my men's lives in a frontal assault simply because you're in a dark side mood. Just because you are trained in the Force doesn't make you invincible and you're were nearly torn to shreds by a small unit of men, a few minutes ago. Whatever your partner's wrongs, remember if it wasn't for his quick thinking you wouldn't be alive right now to keep insulting him."

Forim paused to control his temper and added.

"As for the plan I believe sneaking aboard that cruiser in disguise would be the best option and then divide into two teams. One group will go take the bridge in order to move that flying relic away from the city to the countryside. Then the others can sabtoge the reactor upon a signal and then we all make our way out as it crashes. Sounds fair?"

Adun was about to reply before he stopped himself. There was no point to arguing right now, and he was certainly not in the mood to have a war of words with her. Hearing Forim describe the plan he nodded in agreement. "That will work, but I have a suggestion for the teams." He looked to Rayla for a moment and turned to her. "You can go with the commander. I'll handle the reactor, maybe if your lucky that will get me killed." He looked back at the Duro's rebel. "My name is Adun Umari, since I don't think we've done introductions before. " He gestured towards Rayla. "And the lovely woman before you is Rayla Natu."

Rayla inhaled deeply as she grew angrier and angrier while listening to the rebel. At anytime she could've just got up and choked him to death. She was more than capable of doing it and has done it more than once. But she tried and successfully kept herself cool.

"And the lovely woman before you is Rayla Natu.", She sighed and got up as soon as Adun was done,"Save the sarcasm, let's just get this thing over with"

Forim wasn't too impressed with Rayla' continuing display of rage. Honestly, he expected the Order to have a better handle on their students even with their age. The fact she stated about rushing in head on and killing everyone onboard the pirate ship earlier made it clear she currently didn't give a kriffing crap about the Jedi Code. Also that look of a killer she wore, told Forim that Rayla may have committed acts similar to what Sith or Dark Jedi would do. The comparison made the commander all the more determine to keep an eye on her and Adun, to see if they do cross the line or not.

The Duros agreed with Adun's plan, he didn't had a choice but to let the two come along, they're all needed. Meanwhile he got a signal from one other teams nearby that they captured one of the gunships. Excellent, all they need to do is disguise themselves with pirate grab from the bodies and they will be all set.

"Very well, Jedi. As for my name its Forim Viridux. We better get going now."

Twenty minutes later, Forim, Raya, and Adun along more than a dozen rebels all in disguises got onboard and packed into the captured gunship. It ascended off of the ground at a ruined park and then flew in the direction of the enemy cruiser. They weren't only ones though, a few other gunships that were leaving while the remaining A-Wings battle Rogue Squadron to cover their escape.

Adun looked down at the rifle he held with disgust. He was never a fan of blaster weapons, they always felt cheap to him; fighting a foe up close was more of his approach. Looking around at the rest of the squad he closed his hands up into tight fists. He didn't feel the turbulence, the rattling of the that the turbo lasers caused, or even the wounds that were still present on him. He was in his own thoughts now, the world outside didn't exist for this brief moment. He wasn't planning on coming back from this mission. As far as he was concerned, he had no other reason to keep going. No one needed him now, Anara and Jack could take care of themselves, and now Rayla seemed to be set on her path. He failed her, just like he did with the rest of his family. He may have failed them, but he would make up for it this time. He looked up as he felt a wave of determination hit him, he would make up for his sacrifice here. He gave Rayla one sad glance before looking straight ahead. Soon, he would be with his family again.

Rayla was pretty set to go, the clothing she usually wore might pass quite fine for a pirate, all she needed was a blaster. She sat in the back of the gunship and laid back with her eyes closed as she waited for the ship to arrive at the pirate cruiser. She could sense Adun's sadness and had no idea what was wrong, she sent him a telepathic message Something wrong? Your feelings are making me uncomfortable.

Unknown to the two young Jedi, Forim, their rebel ally was actually force sensitive too. Unlike them however he wasn't trained to be a student of the Force. He only learn some lessons in senseing and enhancing his reflects from some ex-Jedi and Imperial Knight trainers. Basically Forim can detect Adun's sorrow and it concerned him. He glanced over to his direction and saw the far off expression. It didn't take a genius to figure out what the human padawan could be feeling.

He turned to his group, as they got themselves ready. Some were nervous, others thrilled, but all determined to get the job done. Forim cleared his throat for them to pay attention and when they did he spoke.

"To think we're going once again to into a gundark nest-worth of trouble. Just another day at work for us wouldn't you say gang?"

The squad mates chuckle and grunted in sarcastic humor, it was so true.

"I know, I know. Some would wonder why we rebels who are suppose to be focused on fighting a war risk our lives to defend a world that have rejected our offer to join the cause. Sure we are not peacekeepers, far from it, but we refuse to stand by and do noting while the people here on Ione suffer. Many of us too know how bitter the cost of losing loved ones and things we held dear. Yet until our number is called up, we must live on in order to honor of those we cared about and still do."

That last sentence was especially meant for Adun to hear, hopefully he will listen.

"Remember to stay in character as long as possible and watch each other's backs. We're going to take down that ship today."

The rebel operatives all nodded yes in respond, they didn't need to chant yes sir for their leader to know that they understand.

Something wrong? Your feelings are making me uncomfortable. Adun replied back bluntly Don't worry about it. It'll all be over soon. He heard Forim start to give a speech, but he paid him no mind. When people that got close to him, they seemed to have a habit of dying. If that was the case, then he would never have to worry about losing Rayla. He caught part of the rebels speech: "....until our number is called up, we must live on in order to honor of those we cared about and still do." Part of him wanted to laugh. He should have died long ago, with his family when their shuttle caught fire on reentry, yet he survived. He banished all the negative thoughts out of his head as he focused on his goal. After today, he would never have to fear losing someone again.

This got her heart thumping faster. She knew what it meant. In order to avoid it she was gonna follow him in side. She was originally just going to march up to the breach and possibly Force push the commander out the window, but now she got a bit worried for what Adun might do.

The ship would now be touching down in one of the cruisers two hangers. The doors opened and she stepped out after the others and kept her sabers in her hands, she wouldn't care if the whole ship was alerted to their infiltration. She preferred a stand up fight to all this sneaking around.

These Jedi may not care to live longer or work as a team with them, but Forim wasn't going to comprise the mission for anything stupid as long as he can. Glancing in the back, Forim was needless to say was pissed, that Rayla was showing off her sabers. She must think she was the "next Chosen One" or something and it also became clear that she and her partner never fought in a war before. Forim sliently gesture to some of his men who were pretending to be wounded to crowd around the Jedi to cover up them, so to avoid detection long as possible.

Around all them, numerous pirates who clearly outnumbered the group, worked at their stations. Miraculously, they walked out of the hanger way without being stopped into one of the hallways. The brigands must be real busy to stop and question what they're doing. Once out of sight minutes later, Forim directed the group to spilt into two. He took seven rebels with him, aiming for the bridge, while five operatives accompanied the Jedi go after the reactor.

They were following the directions supplied by the raider they captured down at the port and they were accurate. Yet on the command bridge, Kobar, the leader of this pirate raid grew frustrated and squeezed his fists in slient fury. The raid was taking longer it should and the resistance was surprisedly a bit more organized than expected.

Adun made his way to the reactors with his squad. He was going to make sure the rest of these men got out alive. He just was hoping Forim could handle whatever was on the bridge. The group walked casually as they tried to avoid suspicion. They passed by dozens of engineers and guards as they continued on, thankfully Adun recalled the layout for most of this ship. Adun brushed his hand against his lightsaber hilt, thankful again for the design he went with. He had put it in his magnetized scabbard, so it looked like the handle to a vibroblade. He wondered why Rayla was coming with him, but it didn't matter she wouldn't stop him from staying behind. Why would she? She already was fine with never seeing him again. Adun was so into his thoughts he almost bumped into the turbo lift doors. He brought his attention back to the mission, the more he thought the more life's he was putting at risk. Adun was hoping that all this would work out.....and if not, well he wasn't planning on living anyways.

Rayla followed closely behind him while the troopers annoyingly tried to cover her lightsaber. The real pirates were to busy to notice her lightsabers anyway. They arrived at the door to the main engine rooms. One of the rebels tried to get the doors open but they were locked. Two engineers sat down by the wall and tried to hack into the system and enter the room. Were is an astromech when you need one?

She sighed and rolled her eyes. She quickly lifted a hand and the doors opened,
"I got it!" She chuckled and entered the massive reactor room along with the others. Being in a place like this would raise some suspicion.

While the rebel team appreciated that the Rayla got the door, they were concerned with her reckless attitude. They hope it was just a sign of impatiance and confidence, noting more. Quickly some of the engineers working in several stations at the massive reactior noticed with surprised eyes at the unexpected entry. One of them, a eldery Rodian male swore and yelled out.

"What the kark are you dusters doing in here?"

Suddenly his dark eyes, seeing Rayla's lightsabers, but before he can say anything, one of the rebels opened with her rifle, killing him instantly. Then all hell broke loose.
