Thanks to the return of Radzkie, and his show of initiative and suggestive input towards keeping the faction active, the Chiss Ascendancy will be focusing on becoming the UN of the galaxy. Our goal will be to hold alliances and deals with each of the Indy factions in the boards, and to target those that side against our gathered allies.

Here's a quote from the PM he sent me, which has already been forwarded to a few others. This will help set a guideline in place and outline how we advance towards the Indis. As some of you know, a few of the Indi factions have already been associated with, such as Holocaustic Labs LTD (but was since shut down. Admins say our agreements and deals are still intact though), Nite's dragon cult, and a few others we've had talks with.

Something the Hutts did last timeline was destroy and recruit indy factions. I have no clue if there's active indy factions right now, but if there is, it might be something for the Chiss to do.

Just thought I'd throw that idea at you. I thought of it just as you went to bed.

Actually, that's something that I tried to base the CA for. I wanted them to have a compilation of alliances and associations with the other factions, basically playing the United Nations of the galaxy. I started working on a few Indi factions, but I think focusing on destroying a few might be just as well. The IK are practically non existant at this point.

Let me clarify the idea a bit:

Ask all active indy factions to ally you, saying you'll discuss a contract that will benefit both your factions(but mostly just the Chiss).

That thread shows you a few contracts and how you might want to set up a list of your own(if you don't already have one).

If they refuse to make a contact with the Chiss, the Chiss send someone to infiltrate the faction(if they haven't already), get all the info on their bases, bosses, etc, then crush them. This sends a message to other indy factions, "Refuse us and die." It'd also be interesting to see if other factions try to get in our way. Although, we may not get other factions attention if there's very few indy factions to screw with.

Either way, it gives the Chiss something to do, and a way to keep growing stronger even if just slightly.

So, in addition and aside to the outline Radzkie brought up with the Hutts, I'm going to be holding a group meeting for all Indi factions through a holo-group gathering. Dorann will be hosting the event from either Chiss Space or a neutral location, and every Indi faction that wants to participate can take part with a representative and/or hologram in attendance. I'm hoping Weiss can help me lead this with Heliel heading CAIN, and Radzkie if he gets a Chiss character up soon.

Darn, sent my PM to you three without seeing this first. Regardless, my PM generally responds to this thread as well.

Tablet is a pain in backside sometimes or I could do something, but at the moment i'm virtually immobilized till tonight.

Just to make sure it's still clear, we haven't opened up the use of the full Hutt Cartel for this timeline yet, since that's still in the pocket of the staff for if/when it's needed. You can deal with smaller Hutt organizations and individual Hutt crime lords and what not, but not the whole shebang.

Anywho, carry on.

He's referring to the Hutt Empire of last timeline.

So as I’ve seen this progress, I have a thought I just wanted to share. More of a piece of feedback, really. I love how you guys are presenting yourselves as the "peace brokers" of the galaxy, so to speak, and the center of alliances between factions. I think it’s a brilliant idea and I’m really happy you’ve found a way to define this faction in a way that’s both interesting to everyone, impactful on the timeline, and completely Chiss.

Keep it up!

If we}re gonna do this, we should start immediately. The GA is already trying to gain Indie Factions, so if we{re wanting to obtain any ourselves, we need to act soon.

I'll start the Galactic Meeting Thread for Indis and PM all the FLs with a link.

Weiss, have you heard anything from Jiang about DSEG? It seems to me like there are three option, two of which will be acceptable. If they interact with the CA and not the GA, abstain from dealing with either of us, or the unacceptable response that they will deal with the GA and not us. Direct enemies of the Sith Imperium are their own - but the indirect enemies that aide the Alliance's cause are fair game.
