Ossus - Rumors of Darkness
The last hundred years may have been peaceful, but the Jedi have not forgotten the past. In recent times rumors have surfaced that the Sith are expanding. In what direction? From where? How strong are they? Even with the ancient listening posts and spy networks they did not know enough. Jedi Lord Bau Zo is sending some of his trusted Knights to the planet Ossus to investigate these rumors and establish a foothold close to the Sith if possible.

A walk in the park
The capital city of Ossus is a good place to start our search. It is mildly famous for its lush central park that attracts visitors from around the sector. Your target is a public figure rumored to have a recent climb to power by suspicious means. He is often seen in the park meeting with other leaders. Find out if he is tied to our enemy, but don't start a fight you can't win.
- Objective: Spy on the political leader of Ossus to determine his allegiances.
- Secondary objective: Do not cause any unrest on the planet, even if he is aligned with the Sith
- Conflict: Triggering a fight would mean a bad image for the Jedi. We need to be subtle and gather information. Being spotted or killing anyone important from planetary leadership means failure.

Watch your step
The wilds of Ossus are booming forests and jungle that can easily hide a fortress. We need to make sure our enemy isn't hiding among it and see if it is a viable place to establish one of our own. Trek through the wild and find a secluded area to survey a foothold for the Jedi Knights.
- Objective: Survey and stake out a plot in the wilds for the Jedi to settle a base, or report back any heavy resistance
- Secondary Objective: Defeat any resistance
- Conflict: This thread will be OPEN which means Sith and SBZ characters may join in to mess you up
- Required: 2 - 3 Jedi
- Reward: 1/6th mission requirements towards sector capture

Aggressive Peacekeeping
A side effect of being in the rim with weaker planetary rule is crime. Ossus has suffered its fair share of corruption from gangs, pirates, and more. It seems one of the more remote towns has been plagued with a ruthless gang called the "Gem Hoarders". The mining town was once known for exporting crystals for blasters and more. Wealth attracted scum who decided to take it for themselves. Show the locals what a Jedi can do and they will see us in a favorable light. Defeat the gang and make a show of capturing their leader if you can.
- Objective: Defeat the Gem Hoarders gang
- Secondary Objective: Make a good show of it so the people see the Jedi as their saviors
- Conflict: Don't underestimate the strength of these criminals. The last thing we need is for these locals to see the Jedi as anything less than fearless heroes.
- Required: 3 - 4 Jedi
- Reward: 1/6th mission requirements towards sector capture
- Possible Reward: A Kyber Crystal the gang's leader wears around his neck
