Well it seems the first episode takes place on a planet where the force mind trick dosen't work. Yes I talk of the planet Toydaria, home of the Toydarians. Here Master Yoda and a squad of clones negotiate with the Toydarian King, little do they know Asajj Ventress is on the planet.

If the show is anything like the movie, it'll last for about five episodes, or until Lucas realizes that he's too cheap to keep funding a project that everyone thinks sucks.

But seriously, Lucas, my offer to let you hire me is still on the table. I can give you a five year long TV series and two follow-up mini-series after it. Just give me a ring.

The first Clone Wars series(The animated cartoon) was alot better.

I'm looking more foward to the Live Action series.

I'll watch it for one reason and one reason only - I REALLY want a reason to watch Cartoon Network again. :CCry1:

Wow. You guys are being really harsh. I'm not sure it's going to be as bad as you think it will, though, because the way you guys put it, LucasFilm is bankrupt and filled with losers.

The movie (which was basically a premiere for the show) sucked. Hardcore. Lucasfilm is nowhere near bankruptcy, but they keep making too many dumb decisions trying to reach an "all ages" market. They need to cater to Star Wars fans, and not try to bring in the new generation of children. It's just not going to work.

When your President and CEO is worth 3 billion dollars and finances his own movies and projects, your definitely not bankrupt. I have no idea where you heard that they were, but it's entirely untrue. Even discounting Lucas' own personal wealth, they have an insane amount of money.

People on the site keep saying that the Clone Wars is just another cash grab, but why would they do that if they didn't need the money?

So yeah, that where I got the whole bankruptcy thing....

Because when you have a lot of money, what's the one thing you want? More money. I'm not trying to take away from the numerous accomplishments that Lucas has made for the film industry, but a lot of what he does is intended to make money. He heads up a corporation (Lucasfilm). Corporations are there to make money. You can't argue otherwise, because you'd just be arguing against reality.
