Jacata sat in the courtyard, It was mid-morning and their teacher was definitely late. The ancient Jedi Master had missed class before, seemingly forgetting he even had a class. He would just show up the next class as nothing had been out of place. It aggravated Jacata if he was honest with himself. If they simply forgot about their responsibilities there would be pretty severe consequences.
They were supposed to stay for the duration of class unless they were specifically dismissed. Jacata sighed, leaning back on his hands. "Think he is coming?" he asked the Padawan sitting next to him.
Jacata shifted again, growing more restless. He didn't think he could make it if he waited the two hours they were supposed to. Jacata knew at some level it was meant to teach patience, but that didn't make the task any less palatable.
It was now twenty minutes after the class began. Their teacher surely wasn't going to show up at this point. A couple of other Padawans stood and started to leave. Jacata got the itch to join them but decided he would try and hold out just a little longer.
